Has enabled seamless integration across platforms while supporting advanced analytics for customer insights
Microsoft Dynamics CRM doesn't provide solutions that allow you to transform easily if you have a heterogeneous mix of technologies or if your contact center is on analog and you try to digitize it. A lot of custom work is needed if you have to integrate heterogeneous technologies with the Microsoft suite, but if you are using the Microsoft suite, then it's quite seamless. Microsoft Dynamics CRM should add commercial models that allow smaller companies to use it because it can get pretty expensive. Better commercial options for smaller implementations may be helpful. There should be commercial options for smaller companies, as the overheads and costs of Dynamics can be quite high.

Offers the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting
We do a lot of analytics and reporting ourselves. We don't necessarily use all the features that Pipedrive provides, but it's very helpful at least. It has streamlined our deal-closing process. We use it for everything. When we create a lead, we put it into Pipedrive. That lead can be converted into an opportunity, which we manage through our whole pipeline. This includes having all data related to the opportunity in one place. Once the deal is closed, we use Pipedrive to follow up on the invoices until they are paid. We also manage sales commissions and payments to our salespeople through Pipedrive.

Customization and automation drive effective user training and insights sharing
Recently, the price of SAP CRM has increased, which is one concern. Another issue is that sometimes we experience slow performance. Reports in SAP CRM itself can become very slow. Other than that, it is a very good CRM system. I am happy with SAP CRM because whenever we have requirements for changes or customization as per our needs, we get them, and the downtime is minimal. We are getting very good support from the incident team and the in-house support team who are responsible for customization. Some customer centers have moved to Salesforce, but I don't have any experience with Salesforce to make a comparison.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The control that we have of a process and the ability to have everything recorded from the beginning to the end of the process have been the most valuable features."
"It ensures that there's continuity, and you don't have to start asking the customer about what happened. From CRM, you can easily see all the interactions and events in the record and take it from there."
"It's a good solution for enterprise-level companies."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM has the same features as Salesforce CRM, but what I like about the solution is that it's customizable."
"Integration is the best feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It integrates quickly across multiple apps and has a lot of APIs available that you can link to. It's very customizable, so we're able to tailor it to a client's needs."
"The most valuable features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are its easy operations and functionality."
"The most valuable features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are the out-of-the-box functionalities, particularly those around sales, field service, and project service, which are really good for medium customers, and the flexibility allowing users to change functionalities to fit specific business needs."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is easy to use, the UI is very good, and it has many capabilities."
"Anyone thinking about using this solution should definitely look at it and seriously consider it because it's a very good product."
"The most useful thing is the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting."
"Pipedrive's most valuable feature is reporting and insights. The CRM shows the database and lets the salespeople arrange their daily activities. The insights are essential from a management point of view because it helps the sales staff improve or adjust their whole sales cycle, activities, and quality."
"The biggest and the best feature is the view that you get when you log in, where you have a board like Kanban with columns that help you move deals along the process and really keep track of where you are."
"The solution is very stable."
"Pipedrive's most valuable features are that you can keep the whole information that's related to managing your sales process and you can customize it easily. The person that we have who is customizing Pipedrive is very junior in means of software development or process development. He can easily use it, anyone can use the solution. It has a very easy user interface to customize your processes and apply them to the Pipedrive process."
"The most useful stuff for me is that it's very flexible with all the data structures...Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The usability of the solution is its valuable feature."
"When we are using SAP CRM we receive more accurate results than using any other CRM system."
"The stability is good."
"The stability of SAP CRM is good."
"SAP is very easy to use."
"The most important factor for recommending SAP CRM is its integration with the core SAP platform. Globally, most enterprises are using SAP as an ERP platform to manage their key business functions. SAP CRM has out-of-the-box integration with the core SAP platform. You can integrate your pre-sales and post-sales into the single platform on the SAP CRM very easily, and you can extend that CRM to your customers who can actually see what is happening to their orders—such as whether it is dispatched or not dispatched or at what stage it is—simply by logging onto the CRM platform."
"What I found most valuable in SAP CRM is its multitenancy, and you can use it from your website, SMS, and even social media, and it's all integrated, so my company is trying to leverage on all of those."
"SAP CRM has a good performance."
"We get very good support from SAP."

Cons

"Its performance also needs improvement, particularly because its screens hang while querying data."
"When it comes to any necessary changes or updates, we have issues. It is not very agnostic in terms of working with other platforms. A lot of data transformation had to be done internally in order to send it to various systems."
"If anything, its interface could be improved."
"A built-in automation engine to automate parts of workflows would be beneficial. That's the feature I'd be most happy to see expanded. It's currently tagged as simple automation, but I'd love some predictive capability."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM needs to improve its integrations."
"The UI and GUI could be improved."
"This solution would be easier to use if everything was displayed on one page, to avoid moving from one tab to another tab to add documents or add comments."
"The options for customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM are very limited or highly complex."
"Pipedrive has some weaknesses against Salesforce."
"In future releases, I would like to have a highly intelligent integration service where you can easily connect PipeDrive with other tools, even if you are not a developer."
"Pipedrive is relatively stable, but the performance is lackluster compared to other solutions in this space."
"New features sometimes seem bolted on rather than being smooth."
"We are using the lowest version of it. As we become more sophisticated, we might outgrow the tool, but there are features that are available in the higher-level versions, which I'm unfamiliar with, that might be able to meet the needs we would have in the future. They can maybe add some of the features to the basic version or make it more reasonably priced or free."
"You must pay more if you need an additional feature."
"Reporting capabilities of the solution could be improved."
"Pipedrive has some weaknesses against Salesforce. The documentation of Pipedrive could improve. They need more qualified documentation because I had to fix my colleague's work to correct the reports because they did not find how they can do it, or develop reports. There are some misunderstandings about how to do reporting."
"The solution has some serious issues at this point."
"SAP CRM could improve in the area of user-friendliness. It would help if you had an engineer to do the administration. The migration is complex when moving from the old version to the latest version."
"The B2C features of SAP are strong, but they are not very known to the public and companies."
"Previously, the SAP CRM used to use simple servers, but now SAP uses HANA. The problem with the HANA databases is their interoperability with other solutions. SAP CRM could improve by working better with other solutions."
"As SAP CRM is still in its pilot version in my company, and my team is still experimenting on it, there's little room for exploration, but its setup is not as straightforward, so this could be an area for improvement."
"The integration of SAP CRM with the SAP platform is relatively easier as compared to any other third-party product. If you go for any other third-party product, you will have a lot of challenges in terms of integration."
"The tool's installation on the cloud takes time, but it should be easier. One transaction takes around one to one and a half hours."
"When features do get added, we would like the product to notify us in a timely way."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Dynamics CRM's pricing is fair."
"I am not the person who pays for Microsoft Dynamics CRM but it is expensive. I have been using Microsoft Azure, which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is built on, and I know we prepaid for the services. For me as a consumer, I do not think I can afford it, mainly because I am only learning how to use the AI and the rate which they charge is high. In general, Microsoft solutions are expensive and this is most likely due to the brand, this is something you expect. However, the price might be high but you receive a highly secure solution."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an expensive solution. However, most good CRMs are expensive."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM's price is too high."
"Licensing fees are paid on a monthly basis."
"We have a three-year ELA with all our Microsoft solutions and often we had to do a true-up which was approximately $1,000,000. Additionally, we pay approximately $2,500 a month for support."
"It is a very comprehensive package. We get everything from Access to D 365. We get Microsoft's suite of tools. I'm not too sure about the pricing, but I can't imagine it being cheap."
"The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
"Pipedrive is relatively more affordable than other solutions."
"The solution is affordable."
"Pipedrive is the most cost-effective in terms of the balance between cost and features. I would take Pipedrive over HubSpot or Zoho CRM. It's well-positioned on the market."
"The product is expensive but provides valuable services."
"The solution's pricing is excellant. It costs 65 dollars a month for top tier plan."
"We pay $1000 a month for the tool."
"As of now, the pricing and value are quite good."
"The price of Pipedrive has been reasonable."
"They should reduce the price to target small businesses."
"SAP CRM is an expensive product."
"Every user needs to have a license."
"SAP CRM costs approximately a couple of thousand a month."
"From the maintenance perspective, SAP CRM is quite expensive compared to cloud services because the current solution they're using is managed by us and we are hosting it on servers. There is the cost of hosting, and managing servers and applications. The overhead is substantial, but this solution is a legacy system. It will take some time for the customer to migrate out of it."
"There is a license required for the solution and most of my clients purchase an annual license."
"The product is expensive."
"The pricing from SAP is good but it takes time to realize the investment."
