What is our primary use case?
I use Microsoft Office SharePoint Server on a daily basis and think that it's a great tool, though it's not as fast as I wish it could be; I'm unsure if that's related to the Microsoft Cloud, the environment, or the internet connection.
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server is a useful tool that helps a lot with collaboration within my organization, especially when I am in a rush and need other people to view and edit something while I am live in the document; that feature helps to save time.
How has it helped my organization?
Microsoft SharePoint has significantly improved many organizations by acting as a central hub for collaboration. It creates a single, reliable place for documents, eliminating the confusion of multiple versions and email attachments. This makes it easier for teams to work together on files, find information through powerful search, and stay informed through modern company intranet sites that feature important news and resources.
Furthermore, it streamlines everyday business tasks by automating processes like approvals and requests, which saves time and reduces errors. The platform also enhances security and compliance by allowing precise control over who can access specific information, ensuring that sensitive data is protected while still being accessible to those who need it
What is most valuable?
The feature that I value the most about Microsoft Office SharePoint Server is the ability to have multiple persons in a file at the same time, which was not possible when we started using computers. Editing or viewing is possible, but editing with multiple users simultaneously is a standout feature. The versions for files and the ability to use files on all mobile devices are also beneficial, but simultaneous editing is something that always makes you say 'Wow,' especially when you see the initials and letters of the other person that is online and where they are editing.
