Has improved process coverage and integration while offering strong analytics and user experience
The analytics and reporting functionalities of Oracle CRM are good. I would rate them eight to nine out of ten, but it slightly falls behind Salesforce, which is much more advanced in terms of meeting the process and analytics part. The integration of Oracle CRM with other Oracle applications is seamless; that's not a problem at all. The biggest advantage of Oracle CRM for me is the process coverage, ease of use, the UI, and obviously a good amount of analytics; these are the few strengths and seamless integration with any platform. The multichannel service support has an impact on my customer service operations.

Integrates well with master data but user experience and integration need improvement
Predictive Analytics in SAP Marketing Cloud is effective, but it requires two essential elements. The data should be correct and sufficient enough to run Predictive Analytics, and the right algorithms need to be included in the marketing decision-making process. In Predictive Analytics, certain algorithms can be used, but it has limited use because it does not cater to the complete business needs of the client. The solution is easy to customize, but it requires having the right data model attached to the dashboard. If the data model is correct, the data on the dashboard can be manipulated very easily. However, if the data model is incorrect and does not bring in the right elements of KPIs and dashboards, upgrading the data model becomes a challenging exercise. SAP's user interface from a user story point of view rates six to seven out of ten. The user experience could be improved, but in terms of flexibility, it functions adequately when data is available. Without available data, none of the dashboards can function.

"Oracle CRM is a stable solution."
"SAP Marketing Cloud integrates effectively with the SAP data, ensuring all the master data gets aligned effectively with marketing."

Cons

"Oracle CRM's technical support is not that great sometimes. It could be improved with better quality for response time and empathy with the client's operations."
"Getting technical support from Oracle involved going through commercial layers, which could sometimes cause delays. The attention received depended on the client's status and spending with Oracle. Clients with significant spending received global attention and a corporate account manager, while those with lower spending had to work with a local account manager, which wasn't always beneficial. This process could lead to delays in getting technical issues resolved. I am not satisfied with its support."
"This solution is only available on-premises. It could be improved by offering a cloud/SaaS option which is more scalable."
"I think Oracle CRM could improve its user interface and user experience to make it more engaging. Currently, it has a more traditional enterprise look, but I believe it could benefit from more catchy and engaging colours and designs to better engage with users and stakeholders. While the capabilities might be there, the interface may not be very inviting for first-time users."
"The AI feature needs improvement. The technical support also has room for improvement."
"The licensing is expensive."
"The interface could be more user friendly. It is currently not intuitive, and it can be better. The onboarding process for the end users of this solution could be easier, and there should be a few more things for user knowledge and training. It takes a lot of technical knowledge to get used to it."
"The solution's mobile app needs to be enriched with more functionalities in the future."
"Integration with third-party solutions is challenging with SAP Marketing Cloud."
"Email response could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In my region, the tool is expensive. There are no additional costs in addition to the standard licensing fees of the tool."
"The cost of a license with support is slightly higher than a regular license."
"We have annual licenses to use this solution that are quite expensive. For example, we have approximately four types of licenses and we have one annual contract for the number of licenses we use for Oracle CRM and the loyalty system."
"The licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The product’s pricing is very high."
"Shifting from traditional licensing and monthly maintenance fees to a subscription-based, pay-as-you-use model offers several advantages. This approach only charges me for my transactions, aligning costs with business performance. As my company grows, the software provider's revenue grows proportionally to the increased usage. The cost and suitability of Oracle CRM depend on factors like location, industry, and compliance needs. It may be more common for US companies to use Oracle CRM and European ones to use SAP."
"The tool's pricing involves a monthly subscription fee based on the number of users. I believe it's around $20 per user initially, and then an additional five dollars per user if more users are added."
"Oracle is very expensive, but you have to pay to get this kind of scalability and database flexibility."
