Has supported marketing and sales alignment while leaving room for better customization options
I have recommendations for making it easier to customize. I used to work in a tech company, so it's very easy to do that in-house, and our team did that. It's not easy to customize for a regular user though. In the world of generative AI where it's easy for you to connect different tools, APIs, etc., HubSpot Marketing Hub still requires some customization. For example, if you want to make sure it's connected with a custom CRM or some other CRM, there is some fair bit of modification that's required. Some main differences in my experience between HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce are that Salesforce is a bit un-user-friendly. I have to be fair, I haven't used Salesforce too much, but I think HubSpot Marketing Hub is much more user-friendly.

Offers an easy initial setup phase and good ROI
With Pardot, users can do the segmentation based on their requirements. You can segment your prospects based on their interests, locations, companies, or the sales cycle. You can also use the engagement studio to create a journey for the people you have segmented with the help of automation feature of the tool. The aforementioned area consists of the most useful features I found in the tool apart from its out-of-the-box features. The integration between Pardot and Salesforce is beneficial if you know how to share the leads that a company finds useful so that they don't have to invest in manual work or do anything blindly to reach out to leads. Users can segment the leads using the features that the tool provides. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. If a business is into B2B marketing and can afford to purchase Pardot, then they should buy it. If the product of a company is good, then Pardot can help multiply such an organization's ROI. Based on the product and how the sales and marketing team works, the tool can be useful. In short, the tool can be as good as the person who is using it. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Highly customizable but should have more out-of-the-box features
The product is highly customizable, but the marketing and business teams want a lot of things to be built out of the box. A lot of features that could be out of the box aren't there. The main concern is to keep the system in such a way that it provides you with some out-of-the-box features and some customizable features as well. An example would be stratification or stratified sampling of customers. It's something that is not part of the product. It's something I have built using this product. If something like this is available out of the box as part of the product, you don't have to particularly manage that. For the outbound campaigns, there should be dynamic offer or treatment assignments.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Customer support is helpful and responsive."
"The solution enables the customization of reports."
"The most valuable feature is probably automating the system. I can send mass emails to pretty much all my contacts or certain ones that meet the demographic requirements. I've used this one and one other CRM with an auto sales company. From my experience, just the ease of use and the user interface on HubSpot is phenomenal. It's really simple and easy to navigate the program. The functionality is phenomenal, and not just the Microsoft Office part but also with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. It's pretty nice."
"Their blog platform and form capabilities are very easy to use and integrate within our web site."
"The tool is very stable and very reliable."
"As a CRM tool, it looks good."
"Technical support is helpful and responsive."
"Ease of editing and creating templates after initial development with the Design Manager."
"The solution can be easily integrated with Salesforce."
"I have not had any issues with the product's stability. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"Pardot's most valuable feature is its B2B marketing capabilities."
"The most valuable feature is the customization of the solution."
"The tracking and automation of outbound messaging is the solution's most valuable aspect."
"It's easy to create email templates and landing pages."
"Campaign tracking is a valuable feature."
"It has made email marketing quicker and easier."
"SAP Marketing Automation is user-friendly. The interface is nice and clear. You can see the different diagrams and define various filters and targets. You can also export the customer information you collect to make the campaign. It's easy to understand how this information is entered. There are also a lot of platforms that show the results of campaigns. You can customize your data and define different reports, but SAS also provides a standard report."
"You can enable it for business users or marketing users to use it in a self-service way. So, the technical team is needed to build the features or processes, and then those processes can be used in a self-service way by your non-technical users."

Cons

"The product is not cheap."
"Increase the CRM size for sole proprietors before increasing the fee."
"Some customized reachouts might need additional levers or add-ons, especially when automating at scale for specific buying personas. That's when you might need some additional help, in my opinion."
"There are issues with the consistency of notifications."
"The solution is not recommended for launching investment."
"The way the staff uses the system sometimes leads to processes not being followed."
"They're not the cheapest."
"The tool should improve email marketing solution. It is behind its competitors for bulk campaigns."
"When it comes to integration with third-party tools, Pardot's APIs are not that robust."
"For new people, the installation of the tool can be difficult."
"The user interface could be made more intuitive and user-friendly."
"Pardot needs many improvements in terms of email design and design studio functionalities."
"Pardot must be synced with Salesforce."
"The solution lacks integration with Instagram, which is our top problem with the product."
"The solution is quite expensive, at least, for smaller teams."
"When we compare it to other automation tools, in Pardot, I'm not able to see any drag-and-drop options. We have to work on an HTML template itself."
"The product is highly customizable, but the marketing and business teams want a lot of things to be built out of the box. A lot of features that could be out of the box aren't there. The main concern is to keep the system in such a way that it provides you with some out-of-the-box features and some customizable features as well."
"You need to buy connectors to integrate Marketing Automation with various suppliers. For example, if I want to see the data through Power BI, I need a connector to see the data directly. Otherwise, you need to do everything manually. You have to download information from SAS and then save a text file, and then I can import it into Power BI. I would like Marketing Automation to have this native functionality without the need to pay more for connectors."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Have sufficient content before signing up for the 30-day trial."
"We are on an annual license for this solution. There have many different versions to meet the needs of their customers, such as professional enterprise and basic versions. They charge for the particular feature or components which are available in the license you have."
"At present, the pricing seems reasonable, but with our plans to scale, I anticipate that it could become a bit steep."
"The solution is cheaper than its competitors."
"I believe an individual license costs $50 per month."
"HubSpot Marketing Hub provided me with the startup package with 90% off, but it's still hundreds of dollars a month instead of thousands of dollars a month. There is an additional cost for training and onboarding which is hundreds of dollars. It is expensive and should be reduced."
"HubSpot Marketing Hub's pricing is reasonable. It is about 800-900 dollars a month. It may be pricey for smaller clients, but for the bigger ones, it's only a small part of their monthly revenue."
"The licensing costs are around $4,800 per month. Initially, there's an onboarding fee of around $10,000 or $5,000, but after that, it's just the licensing fee."
"In terms of pricing, Pardot is cheaper than Marketing Cloud."
"We pay about $4000 a month."
"The price of this solution is expensive. However, you are going to receive good value for money. They could improve by reducing the price."
"It is a competitively priced product, considering what it provides."
"Make sure you do not pay for features that you may not need."
"I'm not aware of the full cost. The financials are not with me. In terms of additional costs, there are always OpEx and CapEx. That's one way to look at it. You also need separate hardware to deploy the product."
