We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Ease of editing and creating templates after initial development with the Design Manager.""It's my understanding that the initial setup is a straightforward process.""Customer support is helpful and responsive.""There are customizable templates and we can easily make the templates more dynamic.""I find HubSpot Marketing Hub's user interface very intuitive and easy to navigate, which is something I really appreciate.""Very user-friendly.""The most valuable features are the reports, overall usability, and ease of use.""Marketing Hub does an incredible job of tracking and updating client records. The reporting has been enhanced, so you can do just about any type of reporting with it and export to Excel if necessary. They just came out with a considerable upgrade a few months ago, which really helped on the reporting side."

"The ease of maintenance is the most valuable feature.""It is a user-friendly product.""It provides good support for really large databases.""Lead scoring is very useful for both measuring the effectiveness of campaigns as well as deciding which leads to send sales’ way.""The initial setup was straightforward.""Lead scoring has helped with the process of qualifying leads.""The solution is stable.""The solution is good for B2B email marketing."

Cons
"The upcoming tasks feature could be better. With HubSpot, whenever I put the contact information into Microsoft Office or Microsoft Outlook, it automatically inputs it into HubSpot. For example, it keeps telling me to contact my Solaris representative as an upcoming task. I've tried changing the contact in it to "not a lead," but it keeps sending me that notification.""Increase the CRM size for sole proprietors before increasing the fee.""The solution does not enable one to know with certainty if another opened an email he had sent.""The solution is not recommended for launching investment.""There are some issues with HubSpot Marketing Hub with receiving notifications. It was too difficult to understand, and it requires a lot of effort. Configuration could be simplified.""It would be ideal if there was a way to forward a notification or create notifications for non-HubSpot users.""Years ago, these tools used to allow you to see the exact location of people that were clicking on things. I guess they quit doing it for privacy reasons, but that was very helpful information and I miss seeing it in those reports. I thought that this tool could do it when we left Act-On to go to HubSpot, but when we moved over they stopped doing it.""API capabilities (including the performance) are minimal and the email workflow capabilities are too rigid, which results in very complicated workflow management."

"Reporting is very clunky and not user friendly.""The cost of the solution has room for improvement.""The reporting features should be improved.""This product hasn't kept up to date on features.""The solution does not have a good database architecture.""The solution could improve by having a more user-friendly interface.""The solution should consider adding functionality related to event listening, such as webhooks.""The product's initial setup process could be better."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Have sufficient content before signing up for the 30-day trial."

  • "I believe an individual license costs $50 per month."
  • "HubSpot Marketing Hub provided me with the startup package with 90% off, but it's still hundreds of dollars a month instead of thousands of dollars a month. There is an additional cost for training and onboarding which is hundreds of dollars. It is expensive and should be reduced."

  • "HubSpot Marketing Hub is less expensive than one of its competitors."
  • "HubSpot Marketing Hub's pricing is reasonable. It is about 800-900 dollars a month. It may be pricey for smaller clients, but for the bigger ones, it's only a small part of their monthly revenue."
  • "At present, the pricing seems reasonable, but with our plans to scale, I anticipate that it could become a bit steep."
