Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Remote monitoring has streamlined endpoint management and consistently reduced ticket resolution time
The best features Atera offers include the per-technician pricing, which is honestly one of the biggest things. Unlimited endpoints for a flat monthly fee per tech is a model that makes sense for us, since we are not paying more every time we add a new endpoint. The AI Copilot feature has been a nice addition that helps our techs summarize tickets and suggest fixes faster, which has cut our resolution times noticeably. The AI Copilot feature has specifically helped my team because the automation handles a lot of the routine work, such as patch deployments, maintenance tasks, and monitoring alerts. Atera has positively impacted my organization by transforming how our team operates day-to-day, and the pricing model is hard to beat. The outcomes or metrics showing how Atera has made a positive impact include the 30% reduction in ticket resolution time I mentioned earlier.

Automated email replies have saved hours daily but still need broader workflow integration
The features of Moveworks that I have not fully explored include some features I would actually like. Fully automating the passing of entries and automating entries generation would be valuable. For example, if I have a finance staff that is continuously passing an entry for me, I want a situation whereby it can pass that entry automatically and post it based on the synchronization and command which I have configured. I believe some other bot applications are doing something similar. If all these work tools can be put together to automate this kind of process, it will be very great. Major things I would want Moveworks to do more of - I do not know whether this functionality is already there - I want it to perform the work of bots so I can quickly automate some other applications to it, such as passing some entries. That is one request. Secondly, regarding the integrations of bots of Moveworks with other applications, I would appreciate if there were a step-by-step process for all standardized applications such as WhatsApp, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and some TeamViewer and other applications that are work tools. The step-by-step synchronization and integrations of these things, if it can be posted on the website, would make it much easier for people who want to do the synchronization instead of doing a lot of research before it gets done.

Pros

"The best part about Automation Anywhere is the easy to use UI. It's very user-friendly. You have everything that you want in front of your eyes. You just have to drag and drop, then build your logic accordingly."
"Now, with the help of Automation Anywhere Bot it's being handle automatically, and work that would take one week is now being completed within an hour."
"It is easy to use for non-technical people, with a simple drag-and-drop interface, so they don't need to be technically savvy to automate their processes."
"One of our customers here in the Middle East has saved around 10,000 man-hours for a telecom company with the help of 50 to 60 robots initially, and now the same company is using around 4,000 robots now."
"The universal recorder is a kind of hybrid recorder that enables the user to record the data across devices."
"The best feature is its ability to combine Automation Anywhere with AI to build intelligent bots."
"I would rate Automation Anywhere a nine out of ten."
"It provides, not only hard benefits, but also soft benefits, leaving the human mind free of all voluminous repetitive tasks so workers can do the work that they are intended to do, which is thinking."
"Just because it is low cost doesn't mean it is low quality."
"The savings have been astronomical."
"I would say it's the number one tool for all ITMS."
"Atera has helped me to provide more accurate solutions based on a given problem. For example, we base our solutions on event scenarios, like the alerts. We identify that there's a series of problems occurring in a particular area from the information provided by the alerts."
"We value the alerts that come with the product which allow me to reach out to my clients. Overall, Atera generates additional revenue streams for work done on their machines."
"Atera saves me money on a monthly basis because my cost is a fixed price per month per technician, and it doesn't matter how many computers I manage."
"Measuring the integration is very helpful when using Atera Assist Test. It takes the solution to the next level by automating activities. It doesn't just provide the solution but also allows running scripts to fix issues before a technician has to work on them."
"Atera has saved our organization money; we look at Atera as an extra employee that we only pay about $300 a month, which is incredible savings over having to hire somebody to do all the tasks that Atera performs for us."
"Moveworks has reduced employee time because initially, employees used to spend so much time going to the third party to do all those jobs, and now they can simply do it via Otter, which is Moveworks, and this has saved much time and provided accurate results as well."
"Moveworks has positively impacted our organization by lowering ServiceNow service desk calls by 90%, as users now prefer to ask questions through Moveworks in Teams before calling for help."
"Moveworks has reduced many tasks from us, saving an average of one to two hours per day because emails that used to take ten to fifteen minutes to compose are now getting done within two minutes, sometimes even when I am not there."
"The solution saves us approximately three-quarters of a million dollars per year."

Cons

"The product's technical support could use improvement."
"When we are moving from one version to another version, it's very difficult because most of the features stop working."
"OCR capability needs to become better."
"In the Microsoft Excel features, it needs a command to wait for a calculation to complete."
"I would like to be able to look at the steps that are completed as a process is running."
"Automation Anywhere can include database commands like insert row, bold row, etc commands in 11.x"
"They often provide good solutions, but sometimes they are unable to resolve issues, requiring users to find solutions independently, which can be time-consuming."
"For someone who does not have technical skills, using Automation Anywhere is quite challenging because it is primarily meant for the technical aspect, though it can help with basic data entry tasks, such as invoice processing and other repetitive back office operations."
"Customization could be improved."
"It should improve its processes."
"I would like to see more mobile device management. iPad is a big one."
"Atera could be improved by adding more granular control over technician roles. We need more specific controls on what technicians can access, like limiting their ability to view certain sections or access devices and share files. This feature request has already been made. The IP asset management capabilities need improvement to better manage assets beyond just devices."
"It will be interesting if Atera can integrate all kinds of products."
"The one thing that could do with improvement is the reporting."
"Having more freedom to perform identity access management would be great — it's one of the things that are necessary for a lot of companies they secured."
"Reporting is probably the main frustration."
"More use cases can be added to the agent marketplace and the YAML or the DSL methods can be simplified, adding more methods to make it easier for us to create compound actions."
"Customer support has been adequate; I would rate it around seven out of ten, as support often forwards cases to developers after collecting details."
"It is still not perfect enough, but we are working on it to make sure it is very perfect."
"There is always room for improvement, though it depends on how complicated one wants to make it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Our licensing costs are setup on an annual basis."
"It's cheapest among the competition, although bargaining is a must."
"Automation Anywhere pricing and licensing are competitive compared to the other automation vendors."
"We have seen a return of investment because it takes less time to market in our current process. I would estimate a times savings between 20 to 30 percent."
"It is one of the most affordable RPA solutions, and as for licensing, they offer a community edition that greatly helps anyone who aspires to learn about the product before buying the enterprise solution."
"Automation Anywhere is affordable."
"The cloud-based version comes at an increased cost, although our clients are happy with the new features and have not complained about the pricing."
"My understanding is that the license cost of Automation Anywhere is more reasonable than UiPath and Blue Prism."
"One of the biggest issues I face is the need to pay per technician. I've dealt with other platforms that you need to have 250-500 devices. Even though the cost declines as the number of devices a person has increases, they still require you to pay for 250 or 500, respectively. With Atera, the number doesn't matter as you always pay the same amount. I approximate that Atera saves me $100 per week."
"Atera's pricing stays fixed and predictable, enabling us to add more customers and unlimited monitored devices. We still have a number of clients who fit a break/fix IT model. This is something where clients are complaining more about having to pay extra month-by-month for technology services. With Atera's model, we don't have to be going out and asking for more from clients each month. Right now, with where we are at in terms of scale, this is very important to us."
"We pay per user. I am the only user. It is $150 per user. If I need to add one, it is not as costly as expanding with other providers."
"Pricing is my favorite part of it. It was per user, not per client."
"The value of the product is perfect, neither cheap nor expensive. I think it is the right rate. It would be awesome if it continued to be the same price because it is a great solution that I like. I like it because I'm not paying per device. I have some customers on monthly contracts and some of them are on break'n fix. If I have a client who is on break'n fix, and they need to pay per agent, then I am losing money. If they were ever to change structures, going to pay-per-device model, then I would need to think about changing to something else."
"It comes with unlimited devices, so the fixed price cost is taken out of my budget. So, I'm all good."
"Our company is a startup. The initial reason I looked into Atera was the fact that you pay by the technician, not per-device. That means you are able to jump right in with a service without having a large overhead."
"The price is reasonable for what we require."
