SAP S/4HANA Reviews

I manage an SAP Central competence, and we are working on multiple S/4HANA implementations. Our Webex begins with leading teams. We've done major and complex implementations in the network.

SAP InGen is not just for HANA. The most likely features are that it is scalable. You don't have to worry too much about volumes of data, even if your transaction volumes go up. 

It is easier to accommodate due to standardized features. It is easier to maintain and even find the workforce to maintain it because an SAP standard feature is globally the same. So it's not dependent on individual people having expertise, unlike custom apps where you'll have that dependency on particular developers or a consultant. 

Additionally, there is a rich, diverse workforce available. Many innovations are coming up individually from the ecosystem as well. These are prime features. If you go module by module in MM, SD, and other individual modules, there are many features not offered by any other ERPs. 

You can build S/4HANA in S/4HANA, and you can build SAP as your end-to-end SAP, which covers everything you need. SAP Analytics, when coupled with an active SAP SSP system, allows you to see material movement or your sales order history end-to-end. 

You can view your inventory and supplier ecosystem, enabling you to see multiple factors with all the data in a single data model. If you have multiple different systems, matching different patterns can be confusing, however, it is easier to draw connections and identify patterns in this setup. This is the biggest advantage.

SAP S/4HANA provides a standard setup process. Several third-party tools are available to integrate with the SAP ecosystem. Some customers of our organization find SAP S/4HANA very easy to use, and some are adopting the solution due to prior familiarity with the SAP ecosystem. The licensing changes implemented in Oracle JD Edwards have also made a few customers of our organization adopt SAP S/4HANA. 

The Order-to-Cash feature is indispensable and irreplaceable in SAP S/4HANA. Almost every customer I have worked with in my organization finds the Order-to-Cash feature extremely valuable. 

For Order-to-Cash using SAP S/4HANA, a company needs to consider the local regulations at one point. SAP can help with all such local regulations. I wouldn't recommend SAP S/4HANA for a small or medium-sized company.

The integration capabilities of SAP S/4HANA are as good as those of its competitor products. A reliable middleware product will be needed in SAP S/4HANA especially if discrete ERP, MES and CRM are present in the project. The integration of SAP S/4HANA will also be dependent on the strategies and vision laid out by the enterprise architect. Integrations for the solution can be done in both ELT and ETL, and both has its pros and cons.

The analytics part of SAP S/4HANA needs to be improved. The analytics feature provides decent warehousing and reporting capability, but the AI/ML components of analytics need improvement. Almost all current versions of different SAP family products either lack AI capabilities or are rudimentary. A plethora of third-party tools exist that can bring AI/ML capabilities to SAP S/4HANA, but such capabilities should be natively provided in the product. 

I am an enterprise architect, and while I'm not so much the end user, I have experience with SAP tools, SAC, and other sub-modules. My experience with SAP comes from my early job in consulting, but now I'm working as an enterprise tech. I don't have deep dive experience with the existing tools in my new company, but I follow the technologies on the SAP side.

I have been working with SAP S/4HANA for five years. I'm working as a consultant and module consultant in the finance side, focusing on finance and controlling.

In my existing company, we are users. We are a customer of SAP, and we use SAP S/4HANA as our main ERP system. However, I don't provide any support or any technical details about SAP; I only work as an enterprise architect to design the IT landscape.

I think the most useful part is the reporting technology because you can retrieve reports directly from SAP S/4HANA without needing external reporting tools such as BW. Additionally, the ACDOCA table allows you to see all the data relevant to finance or the whole ERP system all in one place, so there's no need to go anywhere else for data. The user interface and security screens are also very useful for the end user.

The biggest benefit of SAP S/4HANA is that you can manage all ERP systems effectively; if you're a production company, you can track product costs, manage profitability easily, and define sales prices. You can see the complete picture of your company effortlessly.

I use SAP S/4HANA because most of the manufacturers in pharmaceuticals are using it. We migrated from Microsoft Dynamics to SAP S/4HANA.

The most valuable features of SAP S/4HANA are the costing module, which is much needed by our finance department, along with the quality management module and the manufacturing area.

SAP S/4HANA has delivered significant financial benefits to my organization because it helps us make better financial decisions. We have taken some products down from production after seeing their profitability, and we have made critical decisions based on reports generated by SAP.

At our company, we use SAP S/4HANA to support our two main lines of business, which are crop protection and seed development. The product is used in the central finance of our organization. 

In our organization, we are currently working on a project with a product where traditional ECC systems will be converted to SAP S/4HANA systems. 

SAP S/4HANA showcases great performance as part of the HANA database. The solution provides multiple tools for easy integrations. For instance, if I have to work with a GUI and Fiori, it can be easily carried out with the resources available in SAP S/4HANA as compared to traditional SAP systems. 

I am working with this system for Aalam, CAEPO, and QD. I have some experience regarding these companies. We are currently using S/4HANA for financial management, human resources, and integration with third parties. It's not just about protection, as we manage many online services like Tasee and others.

I am really happy to use HANA since it is highly syndicated with public office systems. They have integrated cloud systems and GP, sorted with security and other features connected with S/4HANA. Analytics are also integrated for reports and designations. The client is very happy to use S/4HANA.

We work in a very niche area within the livestock industry. We have a SAP-certified solution for the poultry industry, and as part of our livestock solution, we cover poultry, dairy, and fishery. We more or less exclusively work in these industries.

Costing and inventory control are what we actively use as part of our tightly coupled solution. It is definitely a plus over the previous user interface. We have been working with ECC, then HANA, and now Peoria. 

It provides a cohesive user interface, even when building applications outside SAP with the OpenUI framework, offering a seamless customer experience. The way SAP has helped our customers is by establishing a discipline where industry-specific operations and SAP's standard processes work hand in hand, improving resource utilization, material movement control, and cost control. This ultimately helps achieve better yield, which is the final goal in the livestock industry. 

We adopted it recently; earlier, we used our BI for analytics and dashboards. Now, a couple of recipe tools we utilize help predominantly in forecasting, where predictive analytics is applied to yield and various dependent conditions. This offers flexibility and better decision-making regarding production increases, particularly in poultry, where a one-year lead time is needed for planning. This analytical aspect has really helped us.

Our company provides SAP services for the SAP ECC version and the latest SAP S/4HANA version running on the SAP HANA database. SAP S/4HANA is used by SMEs, large enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies that are globally distributed. For ERP solution requirements for the aforementioned companies, I believe SAP is the market leader that provides end-to-end solutions to cater to all business requirements, daily business transactions and operations. 

As part of the business operations, SAP solutions are used for inventory, procurement, production, planning, quality maintenance, post-production, post-quality check, dispatching, and sales. SAP also caters to completing end-to-end financial processes in fields ranging from expense to revenue. SAP also has multiple add-ons for services in analytics, data warehousing, and advanced or enterprise warehouse management with SaaS productive solutions.   

There is another SAP Ariba product used for advanced P2P, payment and procurement processes. SAP also has solutions for CRM and customer solutions and multiple other products for every line of business. SAP has ideal tools for retail, hospitality management, agriculture, and Oil & Gas businesses.

Depending on customer requirements and their line of business, our company provides suitable SAP services. Based on certain prerequisites like company turnover and yearly revenue, SAP products or system licenses can be adopted. Based on the user licenses procured, whether on-prem or cloud, the solution can be managed by the vendor. SAP products are also adopted by all lines of businesses, including automotive and manufacturing. 

Our company not only implements SAP S/4HANA but also manages the migration from older versions to the latest SAP S/4HANA. For any dedicated projects with SAP S/4HANA, there are some taxation-based processes and procurement processes to develop or customize the solution. 

SAP S/4HANA is a highly compliance-oriented system. The solution provides real-time compliance and auditing from the financial and system perspectives. SAP's USP is that about 80% of customers in the market are using their solutions to run across different systems. Another USP of SAP is that the solution supports all the data across models with proper integration for each and every processes. 

There are no misalignments, ambiguities, or issues within the system for database transactions, business transactions, or reports when using SAP S/4HANA. The product is trouble-free, and it enables businesses to make faster decisions and run systems without errors in day-to-day business operations.
