I would describe my client's use case by saying that there are many weaknesses. Some of the modules are not complete and require an add-on to run the solution. Some of the add-ons are either not available correctly or require another add-on to function. For example, if you're working in the logistics business, the solution is not fit correctly because you need a fleet management solution to be integrated, you need a WMS solution to be integrated, and the system is not ready for these capabilities. It's good for very small companies, such as financial companies or other similar businesses. It's a good fit for manufacturing companies as well, but only small manufacturing. If you have comprehensive manufacturing, you need another add-on. The add-ons are very expensive for small to medium businesses.

The main pain point for my clients with SAP Business One is a point for improvement. Based on the company itself, if it is a logistics company or fleet management company or freight forwarding company, you need an add-on. There is nothing for the standard business to be done there. For companies in construction, you need a very comprehensive project management solution, which is not available. It's just for professional services project management. If you have advanced manufacturing such as process manufacturing, you need an advanced solution which is not available by default.

The most valuable functions of SAP Business One include the financials, the sub-module fixed assets, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and small project management. It's a good solution for small companies.

SAP Business One process automation is helpful to reduce manual errors in a company. It helps clients reduce manual errors in their operations.

I am the user and consultant for SAP Business One. I believe all the modules we are using right now in SAP Business One. We are in the retail industry and we are doing manufacturing and fabrication as well. Each and every module is being used here.

SAP Business One is easy to use and fully integrated from top to bottom, from vertical to horizontal. Any transaction we are doing in any module is directly integrated with finance. Each and every transaction and report is updated at the same time. This is one of the main benefits of SAP Business One.

During a transaction in the sales module, it doesn't have to wait for finance to do posting before it gets updated. Financial transactions are posted at the same time. The general ledger, balance sheet, trial balance, cash flow statement, and all other reports are updated simultaneously. There is no need to wait for any posting or report preparations. Each transaction impacts every report and relevant module at the same time.

SAP Business One is one of the best solutions for real-time access to all data. Whenever any transaction is posted, it's immediately available in other modules and relevant reports. This provides real-time access in any module and any report.

I am using SAP Business One on AWS, but I am not familiar with it yet. I am working with the on-premise version of SAP Business One. I'm using version 10, which is the newest version of SAP Business One.

The most effective feature of SAP Business One in streamlining my business process is production. SAP's technical support is responsive and helpful; I am getting clear assistance, and that is not an issue, as I receive support from some suppliers.

We are a partner to this tool. We have stakeholders for all the industries.

All the features of SAP Business One are valuable because it's a good product. It's a worldwide, good ERP, SME level, small and medium level ERP, Enterprise Resource Planning software.

Accounting is the most powerful of the features of SAP Business One, and manufacturing as well. I find accounting and manufacturing valuable and useful because they have all the features that can cater to all aspects of the manufacturing processes.

SAP Business One has real-time data processing updates. It's totally online real-time with no batch processes.

SAP Business One has customizable reporting tools. They are using Crystal Reports and the BI tools. In the HANA database, they have analytics and AI tools as well.

My main use cases for SAP Business One are primarily in a business environment involving manufacturing, specifically in apparel manufacturing. Based on customer orders, production is ongoing, and we can compare the process from sales order to production to payments, all handled through SAP Business One.

Some of the most useful features of SAP Business One are that it has all the modules in a single platform, which is a good option compared to S/4HANA and other systems. We are using Sales, HR, Purchasing, AP, production, and item master within this fully embedded system.

In terms of real-time data processing capabilities, I am satisfied with SAP Business One, although we are not using its full potential as an on-premise solution.

I utilize the real-time data processing capabilities of SAP Business One by using MRP. We can use master data, bill of material, and sales orders to process this data and then generate purchase orders and production orders based on demand and supply, so that capability is already there in the MRP.

Regarding reporting capabilities, SAP Business One provides in-built reports and allows us to use crystal reports, which we can customize and develop our own reports alongside running SQL queries with the query generator to create SQL reports.

In terms of automation, SAP Business One offers integration capabilities to reduce manual errors and save human resources. We can integrate any automation part through the integration framework as well as the DI API service. Currently, we are using both resources to generate purchase orders and master data, which allows us to automate these features.

SAP Business One is primarily used for small to medium businesses in the MSMB market. It helps run the packaged enterprise solution for customers who cannot afford a full-fledged SAP S4HANA solution. It is used for standard finance, warehouse, and supply chain processes.

One of the biggest advantages of SAP Business One, especially in the public cloud, is that many features are standardized, which reduces the need for customization. 

With SAP's assistance, it's easier to convince customers to minimize their customizations. This leads to easier management and a better user experience.

SAP business one feature used are the following:

CRM, sales AR, purchase AP, production, service, inventory, Material Requirements Planning, opportunities, administration for business models like LCD machinery suppliers, home and appliance suppliers, LED sell, and RMA suppliers. 

We also use the solution for project implementation.

We started from scratch and migrated from IBM mainframe ERP to SAP business one 2004. 

We also started from scratch and migrated from TW local ERP to SAP Business One 2005.

We started from SAP Business One 9.3 and migrated to SAP S4H 1809, including PO/SO/WO.

The solution strengthens the sales process. Aligned business practices from sales order trail runs to mass production shipments. The customer credit limited controls by addon BPM to approve process and interface SAP sales order for approved completion. 

We've adapted intercompany sales to purchase orders.

We've integrated sales demand to buy materials seamless process. S4H allows for streamlined coordination between different subsidiaries or branches, making it easier than ever to process intercompany sales orders and seamlessly convert them into purchase orders. The solution seamlessly connects sales demand data with the procurement process, ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels.

We use it for customer, inventory management, catalog management, supplier customer management, and financials.

There is some time saving and lower employee headcount, around 40% to 50%.
