|---|---|---|
| Head Products & Presales at UniCloudAfrica | 3.0 | I use Zoho Mail mainly because it's affordable, supports local currency, and is stable, but it lacks collaboration features compared to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, making it less mature for serious team communication and meeting setup. |
| Customer Experience Consultant at Zoho | 4.5 | I've found Zoho Mail effective for email campaigns and CRM tasks, with strong tracking and security features, though some integrations need refinement; it's reliable, scalable, user-friendly, and brings a positive ROI for my consulting work. |
| Founder at Tech Force | 3.5 | I have used Zoho Mail for three years as a partner, migrating clients from platforms like GoDaddy and Microsoft. It's ideal for small and medium businesses, offering simplicity and reasonable pricing, though improvements are needed for user organization in the admin interface. |
| Sr Zoho Developer and Consultant at Xpert Prime | 4.5 | I use Zoho Mail for various client integrations, including CRM sync and task creation from emails. Its Team Inbox and interface are excellent, support is helpful, and overall, I find it reliable, affordable, and great for cloud deployment. |
| Owner at AATXE | 3.5 | I use Zoho Mail mainly for its integration with various apps like Zoho CRM and its speed. However, the limited 5 GB storage is a downside compared to Gmail's 15 GB. An automatic backup feature like WhatsApp's would be beneficial. |
| Product Marketing Manager at People Centric Organizations | 4.0 | I've used Zoho Mail for nearly two years and appreciate its simplicity and user-friendly interface, though I’ve faced issues with stability, bulk email sending, and difficulty accessing customer support when needed. |
| Technical presales engineer at Avetium Consult Ltd | 3.0 | I managed Zoho Mail deployment in my company for collaboration. It integrates well, though the interface is clunky and slow. Despite delays and occasional freezes, it's a viable alternative for those transitioning from other platforms due to its simplicity. |
| Delivery Head at Team Computers | 3.0 | I find Zoho Mail suitable for blue-collar users needing basic email access. Its alert and monitoring tools are valuable, though update rollouts need improvement. Zoho's ROI is substantial, but alternatives like ISoft can be more cost-effective. |
| Customer Success Manager at SME Advantage Ltd | 4.0 | I find Zoho Mail an excellent online email tool with unique collaboration features, like draft sharing. It's cost-effective, offering multiple applications for 35 GBP compared to pricier alternatives, and integrates seamlessly with the Zoho One package. |
| Account Executive at Savex Technologies Pvt Ltd | 3.5 | We use Zoho Mail for sales due to its enhanced security features, including TLS and SSL, and its advanced email-sharing capabilities. However, it lacks IT system management. Before Zoho, we used Gmail and Microsoft 365. |

Zoho Mail has a search button that you can use to search for emails, email addresses, and the body or subject of the email.
Regarding the Zoho Mail calendar, you cannot easily set up a meeting in Zoho Mail. If you are setting up a meeting, you would use Google Meet and then copy the details of your meeting into the Zoho Mail calendar. Similarly, if you want to set up a Microsoft 365 meeting, you would do the same thing. Zoho Mail calendar is basically there for you to block your calendar so that it can set a reminder for your meeting. However, I do not see them using it as a collaboration tool to set up meetings with customers, colleagues, or partners.
I am not sure about Zoho Mail's anti-spam and antivirus features in maintaining inbox security. I have not used that feature before and have not seen such a feature, though I assume they should have it. I have seen that they have Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk, but I have not used those. I cannot see anything that has to do with security or antivirus.
I have not experienced any major issues with Zoho Mail. I have noticed that they have Zoho Meeting to collaborate with your team over an online meeting, which I have not used before. The overall review rating I would give Zoho Mail is six out of ten.

That is my area of expertise, and I'm really glad to share what I know and what we can improve on the different kinds of systems and software that we are working on, especially the CRMs such as Zoho Mail.
I have worked with the standard package that is for corporates specifically.
I have worked with the standard CRM and the functionalities of an admin within Zoho Mail solutions.
Apart from the CRM, I have worked with the ticketing system which is part of Zoho Mail offerings, and they have worked very closely with Zendesk which integrates with Zoho Mail most of the times. Additionally, I have worked extensively with other CRMs such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
Using Zoho Mail is quite easy. Users are able to track if the recipient has received, opened, or clicked on the email, thanks to a very good tracking system, and they can create large campaigns using the unlimited features of the email.
The integration with Zoho Projects is a bit technical, as it's part of the CRM with specific routine tasks for projects. Efficiency-wise, it has been great in bringing teams closer together so that every project member can critique the progress of assignments. However, there is a need for improvement in communication style from one module to another.
The main benefits that Zoho Mail brings include the ability to send large and secure mails. It integrates with Google clients, ensuring a high level of security and reduced spam. I have utilized it effectively, and clients trust emails from Zoho Mail because of its reputation as a reliable CRM software company.
I would like to see the functionality where a client or recipient can indicate their willingness to give feedback on the emails sent to them, as it could enhance the intelligence behind the response management.
I don't have much to suggest at the moment for other AI functionalities in Zoho Mail, as my current interactions are limited to a few clients who are not very familiar with Zoho Mail's full offerings.
I have been working in my current field for seven years.
I haven't experienced any downtimes or stability issues with Zoho Mail.
Zoho Mail has scaled effectively. Initially, it wasn't very effective, but over time it has improved and become a preferred choice for employers using CRM.
When downloading Zoho Mail CRM, an assistant connects with you for any support needed, providing an end-to-end process that strengthens customer experience.
I rate the tech support of Zoho Mail a nine, as I would share any differences if there were any.
Positive
I worked with Zendesk basically on the cloud from where they project their servers.
I worked with Salesforce through Business Com Consulting, which is a supplier for Google in Africa.
I don't encounter complexities with the initial setup of Zoho Mail, as I'm tech-savvy, though it could pose challenges for those new to technology.
I requested a demo through Zoho Mail and have an email to prove it.
Zoho Mail brings a positive return on investment as it leverages its CRM capabilities, which facilitates quick conversions due to the trusted brand image.
I find the pricing to be reasonable but recognize it can vary based on corporate economic conditions. However, I suggest considering packages for freelancers or independent consultants.
When comparing Google emails and Zoho Mail, Google offers a free service while Zoho Mail operates on a subscription model.
I don't see significant differences between the two, as they offer similar features with the main distinctions being packaging, licensing, and proficiency levels. Zoho Mail's integration with CRM features gives it an edge over Google.
I received an invite from Sumia, and I was equally expecting to hear from her because I thought she was on the call.
I have worked with Zoho Mail for five years.
I use Zoho Mail for campaigns, especially marketing campaigns, where we send out product campaigns and offers for new clients, particularly for marketing teams launching new products. Additionally, I reach out to subscribers via the website, and using Zoho Mail allows me to welcome them and provide enlightenment on our offerings, helping with conversions.
I have not utilized Zoho Mail's offline mode much because I was always working onsite where the server is primarily hosted.
The collaboration tools such as the calendar and tasks boost productivity and performance. As a customer experience professional, I can create events or tasks for sales teams to help them follow up with new leads from websites and convert them to the next level of the sales funnel.
I don't utilize the advanced search filters in Zoho Mail often because I categorize my email campaigns, making filtering unnecessary as the workflows provide the exact outputs I need.
I haven't utilized the anti-spam and antivirus features much, as I've mostly focused on compliance rules regarding privacy and subscriber rights.
Zoho Mail offers a strong platform for mailing and CRM functionalities, allowing users to build effective email campaign trails and offering security for email communications.
I have been able to work with Looker only for a short period of time, around two years.
Within the last five months this year, I have been able to interact with Zoho Mail, and I love it because I can use it at my demo level and user level, enabling me to work with workflows and automations. I'm keen on understanding how to create marketing campaigns and make follow-ups for leads, especially for sales revenue from the consulting aspect.
My overall rating for Zoho Mail is 9 out of 10.

We are a partner of Zoho Mail, and I have been using it for about three years.
We have performed many migrations from different service providers to Zoho Mail, including GoDaddy, Google Workspace, and Microsoft for our customers operating in EMEA.
Their experience with Zoho Mail has been positive, as customers haven't complained about anything. It fits small and medium businesses who don't want many features and prefer a reasonable price.
When comparing Zoho Mail to Google Workspace or Microsoft, it's similar to comparing Toyota to BMW. It performs effectively in all aspects, featuring good elements in the web interface. Everything is simple and provides users with controls and configurations to meet their expectations.
For the admin side of Zoho Mail, they need to add features for organizing users in organizational units. We currently only have the ability to add users to groups, but some admins need to organize users in organizational units and apply security policies or other configurations based on these units.
I have been using Zoho Mail for about three years.
I haven't faced any issues during the integration with Zoho Mail.
I really haven't faced any issues with the stability of Zoho Mail.
Sometimes Zoho Mail has fast response times, while at other times they don't.
I would rate their support for Zoho Mail a six out of 10.
Neutral
Zoho Mail is economical compared to Microsoft and Google Workspace. Speaking specifically about Egypt and the region, they have competitive pricing compared to others.
I recommend Zoho Mail to other people.
I advise others to use Zoho Mail.
On a scale of 1-10, I rate Zoho Mail a 7.5.
There are many use cases for Zoho Mail. Sometimes a client requests that when an email arrives, they want to create a desk ticket or create a lead, or they want to sync their email attachment to their related record in Zoho CRM. I work on these use cases in Zoho Mail.
I have integrated Zoho Mail calendar with Zoho calendar and CRM calendar as well. For some clients who want to sync their calendar, I have worked on these tasks. I have also worked on tasks where when an email lands in Zoho Mail, the client wants to create tasks for employees based on keywords in the email body.
In Zoho Mail, Zoho provides many excellent features such as Team Inbox. Many clients want a Team Inbox where multiple users can join one inbox and check all emails. This is the best feature of Zoho Mail.
I'm using Zoho Flow to integrate Zoho Mail with email and CRM activities.
The user interface of Zoho Mail is good.
I'm working with all Zoho applications and some other platforms such as HubSpot. I'm also providing services and GoHighlevel.
I have not worked on offline mode until now.
I would rate Zoho Mail's stability and reliability as eight out of ten.
The technical support and customer service of Zoho Mail is very good. Sometimes I get stuck on API integrations and other issues, and they guide me and take additional sessions to resolve the problems.
Positive
I have completed the initial setup and everything for Zoho Mail.
I have experience in Zoho Mail and have worked extensively on migration from other domain provider services to Zoho Mail. I have completed many integrations and migrations.
I am currently trying to obtain partnership but am not yet a partner.
I am working on the latest version of Zoho Mail.
I consider it an affordable price and value for money.
Different customers use different servers such as Hostinger, GoDaddy, Google, and Outlook.
Every customer using Zoho Mail is comfortable with their current Zoho Mail platform and UI.
My customers usually deploy Zoho Mail on the cloud.
My rating for Zoho Mail is 9 out of 10.
The primary use was for ITAM products basic Asset Discovery, Software Asset Management, Patch Management, and similar functionalities.
We use Zoho Mail in our company with approximately four people.
We have implemented Symphony AI in one location.
Though I have not explored it in depth, it is quite fast and I use the desktop plugin to download emails. It is connected to numerous apps, including Zoho CRM and Zoho webinar. The interconnectivity between these applications makes it particularly useful.
They could increase the available space which is currently 5 GB. Gmail provides 15 GB of storage space, which would be more useful. Additionally, considering how WhatsApp backup automatically goes to Google by default, Zoho Mail could develop similar functionality.
It depends upon our customers' requirements regarding Zoho Mail, and then we suggest different packages accordingly.
I am quite happy with the product overall.
It offers a free trial period of three to five years. As we are essentially a consulting company with four people, we have two generic mail IDs for sales, with different people using them. We currently do not need more than four paid IDs for our company.
On a scale of 1-10, this solution receives a rating of 7.

I work with Bekes Caterers, and we use Zoho Mail as our main workspace for everything related to administration and operations.
I love that Zoho Mail is easier to use. The first time I logged into my client's account, I didn't find it taxing to learn. It was easier for me to learn things on my own while doing them, unlike other products. I enjoy the simplicity and the user interface. I could easily tell somebody what to click, even without seeing what the person is doing because I know where the Inbox is and where Spam is. These features make me love Zoho Mail.
I have been using it for close to two years now.
I would give the stability of Zoho Mail a seven. Sometimes I am logged out and asked to sign in again. I don't know if it's a security feature, but whenever my clients want me to do something urgently, it gets frustrating because I am signing in since we're not in the same location. When they sign in, I'm asked to do a few tasks, and it keeps happening when you're asked to do something very fast. Sending an email to someone who is waiting on the other side becomes delayed on your end. I find it annoying sometimes, and I don't know if anything can be done about it or if it's a measure to help protect customers.
I once tried doing bulk email sending with Zoho Mail, but it was declined. I didn't realize it was declined until several hours later when I checked for responses. I discovered an error message suggesting to use Outlook instead. This had never happened before. I decided to send the emails one by one, and they went through. I searched online to determine if Zoho Mail doesn't support bulk email sending, and I found others who had experienced similar challenges.
I tried contacting the support team of Zoho Mail, but I think I don't know how to use the support. One time I had issues with signing in and tried to contact support, but I couldn't find it.
Neutral
I did the setup for Zoho Mail, and I can tell you it was easier. My client was finding it difficult to do it, which was when she reached out to me. She hired me to move from Google to Zoho Mail. She was finding it hard to do the setup, so I had to step in and do it myself.
I didn't know about the AI capabilities of Zoho Mail. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Zoho Mail an 8.

I took care of the deployment process of Zoho in my company because my company is a major partner with Zoho.
It is a SaaS product. We mainly use it for collaboration in organizations. This is the main use case: Collaboration b/w internal teams and external teams.
We can also add a chat function to Zoho Mail.
There are several benefits to using Zoho Mail. First, you get the email functionality itself, with plenty of storage.
Second, since Zoho offers a whole suite of products, you can leverage other tools like chat, meetings, and others within the same platform, avoiding the need for multiple providers. This consolidation is valuable for me.
Another benefit is the good local support offered by Zoho. Not everyone can afford the expertise required to provide such good technical support in-house, and Zoho provides that.
Finally, since I was already using other Zoho applications, it wasn't difficult for me to adapt to Zoho Mail. Overall, it's a good value.
It also offers the search functionalities. For end users, the search is quite easy to use. There are a few tabs to select to find exactly what you're looking for. It's pretty simple. As long as the data is available, you can use filters like from whom, to whom, subject, attachment, and even use advanced settings. It's pretty nice.
Integrations with all the applications are a good feature. Zoho is an ERP solution, and in most cases, there's no third-party application that I want to integrate with Zoho Mail. It's comprehensive in its entire area.
Where an organization wants to integrate their mail with another application to get notifications when it is down, you can't separate the SMTP from Zoho into the application. But for something simple, you just need the SMTP server details from Zoho to bring to the application, similar to any other platform.
For me, it is all about the hosting. Beyond that, there aren't any particularly fancy features that catch my eye.
There can be delays in image loading at times. Moreover, for clients transitioning from platforms like M365, who face financial constraints due to currency exchange rates, Zoho Mail presents a viable alternative.
The process is simplified as we don't have to deal with intricate integrations or the hassle of migrating users between platforms. This simplicity is perhaps why integration with the ADAInu platform is non-existent.
Additionally, I use IMAP migration, which tends to be stressful on the IMAP platform. With Zoho Mail, the process is less cumbersome, and I don't have to go through the stress to create the IMAP protocol.
The interface isn't quite good. Everything looks a little low-quality. And maybe because they just started. For example, there's network disconnection. And by the time you send an email before it is delivered, it takes a while.
I've also had some clients complain that it freezes at times. So, it's frozen at times and can be a little difficult to update. And sometimes you have to uninstall and reinstall it, and all that.
Fr a cloud-based service, it's not quite seamless. But the only thing is that the UI is not very user-friendly. Everything just feels clunky. It should be more user-friendly.
I have been using it for quite some time.
It is very stable but there was a time they had some challenges with a client because of updates. And if you want to open something, it would take a while to load, and it kept crashing.
Zoho Mail is very scalable. You can add as many users as you want, as long as it's within your license and not for multiple businesses.
My organisation had around 200 end users, and I was responsible for managing it all.
The customer service and support are not good. A client reached out to them and they didn't get any good response.
The deployment time and complexity depend on different factors.
It depends on how many users you're looking at and the number of mailboxes. Are you creating a fresh setup for an organization with no existing email platform? Or are you migrating from one platform to another? It depends on the organization's needs. For a fresh start, they might just want to jump right in and begin using it.
I deployed it. So, the setup is actually quite straightforward. Just make sure you have the requirements in place already. For example, the domain name must be available, and you'll need to ask your domain service provider to handle verification records. When you add your domain to Zoho Mail, you'll be able to verify those records. Then, you can set up your security. Do you want to do the automatic setup with us for the thirty included features, including administrator settings?
But before that, you need to upgrade the user licenses. This allows you to configure organization settings, like how many users you want to add and their mailbox size. These are the basic steps to ensure users can log in and access settings. The whole process typically takes 20 to 30 minutes, and then you should be good to go.
One of the reasons people use Zoho in Nigeria is because we can pay for it in Naira. It's very affordable already. For example, we can get Zoho Mail for somewhere between 1000 naira per user, which is less than one dollar. In my opinion, it's very affordable.
We are subscription-based. It depends on which plan you're interested in. We can pay monthly.
Overall, I would rate the solution a six out of ten.
There's no one-size-fits-all solution for clients. It depends on their requirements and budget. But, it depends on things like user-friendliness and support availability. These are things I need to look at, along with the client's project and needs. Then I can give them proper advice.
Another thing is, if a client uses Microsoft PCs or something similar, Zoho has its own office suite, but I'm not sure it's the best fit for every client. Ultimately, depending on your exact requirements, I can tell you what solution to go with. You want a single console to do everything without needing to move to another platform for higher traffic. It also depends on the size of your organization - small, medium, or enterprise. Each customer is different, so I can't give a blanket recommendation.

Zoho Mail is for blue-collar users who require only email access. The advantage of using the Zoho CRM tool is that Zoho provides free email IDs for Mail users.
Zoho Mail offers various features across its plans. The Professional plan provides good security with effective spam filtering. However, the Standard plan lacks spam filtering, possibly due to issues with blacklisted IP addresses.
It uses an alert system and other monitoring tools. They also have an in-house monitoring system, which many customers find valuable.
They have their roadmap because I follow them on the Zoho subscription channel. I watch their videos and other content. Their improvements and plans are good, but they have issues when they are rolling out updates. They are launching AI functionality soon.
I have been using Zoho Mail as a partner for six years.
The tool is stable. There is no downtime. Also, performance is very good.
Five thousand users work at Patanjali Foods. Around 15,000 users altogether work with Zoho.
The tool is very easy and user-friendly. The admin panel is very easy. Configuration is very easy. Simply, next, next, next, and the setup is done.
If I want a new domain to be activated on email, it hardly takes any time if I have all the DNS and other settings ready. It will only take about thirty minutes to set up the entire domain, and I can add users and start accessing the email. So, the whole process takes approximately thirty to forty minutes.
We can calculate the cost based on the cloud plan and the type of user they are targeting. They usually have traditional setups and staff if they go for the basic plan. Instead of Zoho, I recommend ISoft to save up to one hundred rupees per user mailbox.
If more users and additional features are needed, it will depend on the type of collaboration and feature requirements. Zoho Mail is highly dependent on collaboration, so I recommend it for its ROI, which can be significant, ranging from ten lakhs to fifteen lakhs per annum for a thousand users.
It costs 499 per user for the standard package. For professionals and those who are advanced, it is 850 and 1200, respectively.
When comparing Zoho with the top competitors like Google and Microsoft, these companies are leading the market. Zoho, Google, and Microsoft are key players, while others like Zebra are less competitive. Google and Microsoft are introducing AI functionalities, and although Zoho hasn't yet integrated AI, they plan to do so soon. Zoho's support and product quality are improving, including features like filtering.
Zoho is not just a traditional software-based company. It offers a wide range of APIs and other integration tools, including a CRM tool and various other products, so integration is not limited. Zoho has operations management and developers, making integration feasible with any system.
Zoho is a cloud-based solution, meaning maintenance is managed by their system. They don't provide access to unauthorized persons. Zoho handles maintenance.
Traditionally, we haven't recommended Zoho as extensively because we prefer systems we have thoroughly tested and can confidently endorse. We've deployed Zoho a few times with mixed success. In comparison, we've had more success with Google deployments, with higher implementation rates and ease, offering better revenue opportunities. Based on requirements, I might recommend Zoho, but for higher needs or better collaboration, I'd suggest Google, possibly combined with iSoft. If there is no other support, Google remains a strong recommendation.
Overall, considering support, I rate the solution a six out of ten.

Zoho Mail is like an electronic mail interface, which we would generally do with an Outlook sort of tool. The only difference is that Zoho Mail is an online edition, so you can't use it if there is no internet.
The most valuable feature of the solution is its collaboration features. There are a couple of features in Zoho Mail that don't exist in other electronic mail platforms. When it comes to Zoho Mail, you can share a draft with someone in your company before you send it. It's a collaborative tool that is pretty nice.
I have been using Zoho Mail for about eight years. My current company has a partnership with Zoho.
Zoho Mail is a stable product.
Zoho Mail is a scalable product because it comes out of the box, so you can't really do much customization. However, all the features are there in the tool for small and large organizations.
In my company, eight people are using the solution.
The initial setup of Zoho Mail was sort of straightforward since you have to do your domain mapping and all that stuff. You need to have some level of technical knowledge with domains and services before you can set up the mail.
The solution is deployed on a private cloud by Zoho.
Zoho Mail is worth the deal and money since you can have fifty applications to use per person on a monthly basis. Compared to tools that cost around 1,000 GBP, one can get all the tools in 35 GBP.
Zoho One has all 50 applications in it, and Zoho Mail is part of it. Zoho One is about 35 GBP per person per month. It includes Zoho Projects, Zoho Mail, Zoho CRM, and everything else. It's basically a package deal.
My company decided to go with Zoho because it came in a package under Zoho One.
I recommend others to go with Zoho Mail because it's quite intuitive, has a lot of features, and is less on the cost.
The rating for the tool would have been a ten out of ten if it had offline capabilities.
For now, I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.
We use Zoho Mail for sales.
The solution has more security compared to other products. Zoho Mail comes with TLS and SSL. It has email-sharing features. It is an advanced product.
Zoho Mail needs to add an IT system management feature.
I have been working with the product for a year.
Zoho Mail is stable.
I am a single user of Zoho Mail in my company.
The tool's support is good compared to other tools.
We used Gmail and Microsoft 365.
The product's deployment is easy. You need to create an account to use it.
The solution is more affordable compared to other products. It is cheap.
I rate the product a seven out of ten.
