Room For Improvement

Oracle CRM needs improved integration, user interface, speed, and AI features; costs, onboarding, and support pose significant challenges.
Salesforce Sales Cloud needs better UI, cost, integration, reporting, mobile support, data handling, and automation with improved performance.
SAP CRM requires UI enhancements, better integration, real-time analytics, increased flexibility, and modern tech adoption for future growth.
It's already integrated into our environment, so moving to something else will require a massive investment and change in strategy that we as an organization are not prepared to embark on just yet.
Compared to AWS, it is slower, which could be a hindrance.
With today's generative AI capabilities like ChatGPT, it should be possible to directly communicate with the software rather than navigating through the entire system manually.
I am happy with SAP CRM because whenever we have requirements for changes or customization as per our needs, we get them, and the downtime is minimal.

Setup Cost

Oracle CRM is costly but offers scalability, flexible pricing, and potential discounts for larger enterprises with multi-product contracts.
Salesforce Sales Cloud is costly but valued for its customization, integration, and efficiency benefits for businesses despite high expenses.
SAP CRM is costly, targeting large enterprises, with high setup costs but competitive features; price cuts could increase appeal.
Without negotiation, costs can become expensive.
SAP CRM is not suitable for small companies because of the cost.

Valuable Features

Oracle CRM excels in customization, integration, analytics, supporting various business needs with intuitive interfaces and efficient deployment.
Salesforce Sales Cloud provides customizable CRM solutions with seamless integration, automation, and advanced analytics for diverse business needs.
SAP CRM provides customizable reporting, seamless ERP integration, real-time data, enhancing customer management and improving business processes globally.
Currently it's meeting all our needs, hence the migration about six months ago that we moved from on-premise to OCI, to the cloud-based platform to add additional capacity and analytics.
Its easy-to-navigate interface aids in delivering clear vision and organization, especially for sales and business management.
The Einstein Analytics and the inbuilt reporting are very useful for keeping track of pipeline movement.
If there is any error in our machine, a log is automatically generated, and from SAP CRM, we can see that the machine has problems.

Helps business track their customers, sales leads, and opportunities
An area for improvement is the vendors' inability to understand the customers' requirements and communicate them to Oracle. When we started to implement the tool, and during the very initial phases of the product, when Oracle launched it, our company opted for it. We faced a few challenges related to the product speed associated with some functionalities that were not available when the tool was just launched, but later on, it became available, and right now, we are actually using it. The tool is fulfilling our requirements. There were no major hiccups or challenges due to the tool. The solution's mobile app needs to be enriched with more functionalities in the future.

A feature-rich platform that helps to track sales and gather customer information
My age-old complaint with Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it has to be refreshed because it's a cloud-based system. If you make any updates, you have to refresh and save because you're fundamentally looking at what's running in the cloud. It can be slow since you constantly refresh and save the screen. If you were running a local application, like a local CRM system, as you input anything, it would be more seamless. It's like using Excel—you don't have to save every single time you enter new details into a cell because it knows it's a local copy. With a cloud-based system like the tool, changing requires refreshing and saving, which can be tedious.

A CRM system that helps you automate and integrate your customer data and customer facing-activities: sales, marketing, service, and e-commerce
One area for improvement is the security model, especially regarding records management retention and the audit and legal holds. Since we're in the middle of a cloud digital transformation, it's essential to ensure the system flags documents properly according to global retention policies. We need to address bugs and make sure our system fully aligns with our procedures and policies. This is crucial to prevent breaches, especially in a time when breaches are becoming more common. For instance, my personal identity was compromised four months ago when my mortgage company had a breach, and I’m still working with the FTC to clean up the damage. In my work in mortgage and financial services, I’m focused on preventing this kind of issue for our consumers and clients.
