Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Great for remote support sessions with no maintenance and excellent technical support
The remote support session is great. We really like ISL Light. That's what we use all the time. We use it almost every day. Some people use other solutions like Splashtop, for instance, where you can do unattended support. Personally, I don't like unattended support. I would worry if it would be secure. There's no way I'd want someone logging onto my machine when I'm not here. With this, I log to ISL, I give them a pin number, and they have to physically type in the pin number and physically agree to them sharing their screen. It's much more secure than some of the other solutions like TeamViewer and Splashtop where you can do unattended support. It's more secure than any of the other products out there, available at the moment. The stability is great. It's got very good uptime. The technical support is great. Setting up the solution is easy and there's no maintenance involved.

Inexpensive with useful screen monitoring and screen sharing capabilities
I'm using the latest version of the solution. I'd recommend others switch over to Zoho. It's flexible and highly efficient while being very user-friendly. If users have remote sessions, it's quite useful; however, if there are no remote sessions needed, the solution itself isn't very useful. I'd rate the product nine out of ten.

Pros

"The stability of Microsoft Intune is good."
"A valuable feature is user enrollment, where users can enroll their devices in their organizations themselves."
"The most valuable feature of Intune is the user-friendly portal for end users."
"In terms of technical support, you will get an immediate response."
"Autopilot is a great feature. Most users are looking for a zero-touch deployment."
"I appreciate how clear Microsoft Intune is."
"The solution has significantly improved managing a diverse range of devices. We have observed enhancements across Android, iOS, and Windows devices."
"We are transforming our flat network by adopting different cloud solutions, and our own applications are hosted in the cloud. Intune ensures our security throughout our entire cloud-based system, improving our security posture."
"We like drawing utilities inside ISL. That helps us mark specific regions on the screen, so that end users know what to focus on."
"The solution has a lot of features. It does what it is made to do and that's all we can ask for, really."
"ISL Online is easy to use. It provides a single platform on which we can do everything, and it's very low maintenance. After installation, you don't need an IT manager or staff to watch over it. It's secure. It's most important for us."
"The most valuable feature is safety."
"It's much easier to connect with other services, and it's working great. We haven't had any problems."
"Setting up the solution is easy and there's no maintenance involved."
"The code can be delivered in multiple ways, including an email with a link for an unattended connection."

Cons

"It would be great if Intune offered better data protection controls for BYOD Windows PCs."
"I assess the stability of the product as low. I have faced downtime crashes and performance issues with Microsoft Intune."
"If we could remote into a device, it would be great. Currently, we cannot directly connect to the user device. We have to use other tools such as VMware for connecting to devices."
"While Intune works perfectly well, the only potential downside is that the deployment could be a bit complex for some users."
"Microsoft Intune lacks the ability to provide seamless remote assistance or remote control."
"Microsoft needs to enhance device-level security, as sometimes when using Microsoft Intune, the device's operating system becomes stuck and requires a full uninstall to remove the Intune bug."
"Some customers have reported experiencing slowness when using lower versions of the Android system."
"It would be good if, in addition to the minimal patching and compliance, we could also use Intune for application deployment. For instance, if a device is not patched, Intune should have the ability to push not only a Microsoft patch but also other patches, such as a browser patch."
"They need to better advertise the features."
"It would be helpful if they had iSupport for supporting Apple phones."
"There have been times during updates when something wouldn't work quite right, however, they are quick with updates and quick with fixes."
"There could be a section in the menu describing the new features and changes."
"If there is an update or new feature on ISL Online, I don't know about it. I would be happy to receive a newsletter or notification of new features or updates."
"I would like to have a little bit more information when new features are released. They have added features that I didn't know about in the past. It would be easier for me to implement new features and consolidate them with other systems in our network if I knew beforehand."
"They should improve the integrations with other incident management software to be able to send the link directly from these platforms."
"I would like to be able to access and manage all brands of smartphones."
"They do have some glitches in the microphone and speaker, especially during remote access."
"It could be integrated with IT management tools."
"Support could be more knowledgeable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune's pricing is competitive. For example, the license of Blackberry's Enterprise Mobility Suite was costly, but Intune is affordable. It is included as an additional feature when you buy security enhancements for your organization. For example, let's say I have fifty users in my organization and all of them are using Microsoft cloud services, like Teams, Office 365, and OneDrive."
"With one user base license, we can use Intune for up to five devices. However, with Soti MobiControl, each license is tied to a single device, meaning one license is dedicated to one device only."
"Microsoft Intune is included in the E5 license at no additional cost."
"I would rate the price a four out of ten with ten being the most expensive."
"Our Office 365 Business Premium license, including Office 365 and Intune Management, offers excellent value."
"Intune comes with the licensing that is common for large organizations. However, Microsoft has recently released many add-ons that are very expensive, especially for large organizations or corporations."
"Microsoft Intune costs about $7 per user per month, which is somewhat on the pricier end. That said, it's a reliable product, so it's fair."
"On a scale of one to ten with one being the cheapest, the cost of Microsoft Intune is a five."
"We have a pay-per-use license available for 500 minutes within one year for 95 Euros. However, this option is not popular. Alternatively, we can purchase a one-year license for 339 Euros; if we need two licenses, the cost is double, and for three licenses, the cost is triple with a ten percent discount. For 99 Euros a year, we can open multiple sessions on the same computer with a multi-session subscription."
"Its scalability depends on the business model we purchase."
