Centralized device management has transformed security and streamlined remote provisioning
One area where Microsoft Intune can improve is the user interface. Sometimes the portal feels a bit complex and not very intuitive, especially for new users, and it can take time to find specific settings. Another point is troubleshooting. While logs are available, the diagnostic policies and sync issues can still be time-consuming and not very straightforward. I also feel that reporting could be more detailed and customizable. The built-in reports are helpful, but for deeper insights, I often need to rely on additional tools. Overall, it is a strong solution, but improving usability and troubleshooting experience would make it even better. While Microsoft Intune works very well within the Microsoft ecosystem, the integration of some third-party tools could be smoother and require less customization. Support is another area that could improve, as sometimes response times can be slow, and resolving complex issues may take longer than expected. In terms of features, I think more advanced automation and built-in remediation options would be helpful since common issues can be fixed automatically without manual intervention.

Easy to deploy, stable, scalable and safe
I previously used TeamViewer. ISL Online is definitely the better choice compared to TeamViewer, as it offers a more secure connection that does not involve peer-to-peer transport, and all data is encrypted. A single license for ISL Online costs about the same as TeamViewer but with multiple licenses, ISL Online is cheaper.

Secure, reliable, and great for remote access
It makes access very easy. If we have to work at night or after office hours, if customers report a problem, we can solve issues remotely, outside of office hours, from wherever. The initial setup is straightforward. The solution is stable. It is scalable. Technical support is easy to reach.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft Intune simplifies device management by replacing the traditional method of installing OS, joining a domain, and configuring everything manually."
"The ability to wipe data from and reset devices is one of the most important and valuable features. If a device is reported stolen, we can freeze it or wipe the data from it, preventing data leakage."
"I like how Intune brings everything into one place. For example, you can set up conditional access to applications and devices inside Intune. I also like the segregation inside the Intune devices. You can segregate them by Windows, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android. You can sort it by platform, so you don't need to go into the devices section."
"The main benefit for us with Microsoft Intune is centralized management of all devices, allowing us to apply one policy across the company from one location."
"The security-related tools are excellent; these features allow us to secure devices, lock them down, and ensure compliance."
"What I like most about Microsoft Intune is that it's agile and easy to deploy, and it covers the maximum number of policies."
"Maturity makes it a stable product."
"It is very easy for me to configure all the things. Once I create policies and applications in Intune, it is very easy for us to enroll users."
"I personally really appreciate the file transfer feature as it is really easy to use."
"We like drawing utilities inside ISL. That helps us mark specific regions on the screen, so that end users know what to focus on."
"ISL Online is easy to use. It provides a single platform on which we can do everything, and it's very low maintenance. After installation, you don't need an IT manager or staff to watch over it. It's secure. It's most important for us."
"We are just much more responsive, we can be faster, and we can support our customers in a better way because when they have a problem, we can be on their computer immediately."
"It's much easier to connect with other services, and it's working great. We haven't had any problems."
"The most valuable feature is safety."
"Overall, we are very pleased with this solution, for us, it simply works 99.9% of the time."
"The stability is great; reliability is what's very important to me, as well as security, and this solution may have only had one instance of downtime in 14 years."
"For five years of using the product, there are no issues; there are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze."
"It is a scalable solution. "
"Screen monitoring and screen sharing, as well as screen remote control, are all very useful features."
"Technical support is easy to reach."

Cons

"The reporting and cost have room for improvement."
"The reporting dashboard is really limited."
"It would be great to see on-premises mailboxes and for the solution to have geofencing capabilities."
"There is room for improvement in the remediation and detection modules, which are currently about eighty percent fully functional."
"More integration with monitoring tools is needed."
"My assessment of the user experience of Microsoft Intune is that it is sometimes good and sometimes poor, depending on Microsoft's infrastructure."
"The time we have to wait to deploy policies has room for improvement."
"The biggest problem we ever have is when something goes out of date after 30 days when nobody has logged into it. We do have a problem trying to get those back online. We've been working with Microsoft to resolve that problem, but that's been the only issue that we've had in the last few years."
"Updating the program could be improved. When they're pushing updates, you don't really know that there's an update available."
"There could be a section in the menu describing the new features and changes."
"It would be helpful if they had iSupport for supporting Apple phones."
"What bothered me the most was that when I connected to the computer at the office, I was afraid that someone would turn on the monitor and watch what I was doing."
"There could be a section in the menu describing the new features and changes."
"They need to better advertise the features."
"If there is an update or new feature on ISL Online, I don't know about it. I would be happy to receive a newsletter or notification of new features or updates."
"It would be helpful if they had iSupport for supporting Apple phones."
"Support could be more knowledgeable."
"They do have some glitches in the microphone and speaker, especially during remote access."
"Support could be more knowledgeable."
"It could be integrated with IT management tools."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune is included with our F3 and E5 licenses."
"The pricing for Intune and the competitor products are all within the same range, there is no true advantage when it comes to cost."
"Microsoft Intune's pricing is reasonable."
"The price of Intune is often included as part of a bundle with other Microsoft licenses, which makes it somewhat cheaper."
"The pricing for Microsoft Intune is reasonable. Our clients are satisfied."
"It's a bit expensive from a licensing perspective, especially as we look to have organizations with tenants across the globe."
"Its licensing model is not complex, but it is very expensive compared to other solutions. They can bring more models and reduce the pricing. They should allow customers to select the features they want and price it accordingly."
"We spend a lot of money on Intune licensing, and some of our users have to be double licensed just because of how our dev and corporate environments are segmented."
"We have a pay-per-use license available for 500 minutes within one year for 95 Euros. However, this option is not popular. Alternatively, we can purchase a one-year license for 339 Euros; if we need two licenses, the cost is double, and for three licenses, the cost is triple with a ten percent discount. For 99 Euros a year, we can open multiple sessions on the same computer with a multi-session subscription."
"Its scalability depends on the business model we purchase."
