Efficient and intuitive experience facilitates global sales collaboration and optimizes user engagement
Beyond what Dynamics 365 Sales currently provides, any improvement would require a combination of processes, changes, and user behavior modifications on our side coupled with the product. The product has launched numerous features, including AI capabilities, though I haven't found use for many of them. Reducing feature bloat would be beneficial, especially considering different organizational needs. In a federated B2B company, CRM usage is limited to fundamental fields. Performance improvements, such as reducing field loading time from three seconds to one second, don't significantly impact average users. In our B2B organization, which consists of numerous companies each generating several million dollars in revenue, teams only need 5-10 strong features. Additional features are primarily useful for central sales revenue operations teams handling reports and analysis. For average users in a B2B services organization, the current feature set is sufficient. Over the last few months, we have received many AI features and co-pilot integration into Teams. However, additional CRM features are not necessary for our usage.

Offers the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting
We do a lot of analytics and reporting ourselves. We don't necessarily use all the features that Pipedrive provides, but it's very helpful at least. It has streamlined our deal-closing process. We use it for everything. When we create a lead, we put it into Pipedrive. That lead can be converted into an opportunity, which we manage through our whole pipeline. This includes having all data related to the opportunity in one place. Once the deal is closed, we use Pipedrive to follow up on the invoices until they are paid. We also manage sales commissions and payments to our salespeople through Pipedrive.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft 365, in its entirety, provides a collaborative environment that allows me to connect to multiple tools, including email, drive, and cloud hosting folders."
"The AI provides insights about the customer."
"What makes Dynamics 365 Sales interesting is the new AI capabilities through CoPilot, which can help write in NLP and look through what's happening on the opportunities without getting into the details."
"It allows effective management of the follow-ups of leads and potential opportunities."
"The tool is on the same screen as Microsoft and Windows, which makes it easier for end users to learn. Its features are good, and the solution's integration is without challenges."
"Dynamics 365 Sales assists in streamlining the sales cycle by reducing it by 30%."
"Dynamics 365 Sales offers robust integration capabilities with third-party tools, complemented by our in-house developed applications. We've tailored our pricing within Dynamics 365 to suit our specific needs, collaborating closely with our teams for its development. Leveraging Azure and Microsoft Office 365 integration, Dynamics 365 becomes even more powerful."
"It stands out as an exceptional choice for businesses seeking a comprehensive ERP solution that offers a range of features, including finance, payroll, and HR modules, making it more than just a retail tool."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to create timelines and custom fields."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The most useful thing is the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting."
"Pipedrive's most valuable features are that you can keep the whole information that's related to managing your sales process and you can customize it easily. The person that we have who is customizing Pipedrive is very junior in means of software development or process development. He can easily use it, anyone can use the solution. It has a very easy user interface to customize your processes and apply them to the Pipedrive process."
"Pipedrive makes it easy to understand who I'm talking to at a glance. It has all the activities, node features, opportunity interface, deal interface, and time drive deals. The sales process is extremely simple, which saves me time and energy. I can send the document for e-signature and make the most out of my deals. I can automatically send emails and phone calls. You need to do only a little API programming. It offers massive flexibility. You can run an entire enterprise on the platform. The ease of use facilitates huge adoption."
"Anyone thinking about using this solution should definitely look at it and seriously consider it because it's a very good product."
"The biggest and the best feature is the view that you get when you log in. You have a board like Kanban when you log in, and you've got a column on the left and several other columns that move to the right, depending on where you are in a particular deal. If it's a prospect or someone who is just looking, you move it along the process, and it really helps you keep track of where you are."
"Our primary use case for this solution ranges from using it for daily activities in sales to forecasting and KPIs and following up on every deal we are working on and every lease we are opening."

Cons

"The solution’s stability could be improved."
"The pricing must be improved."
"Reducing feature bloat would be beneficial, especially considering different organizational needs."
"Making it more budget-friendly would be beneficial."
"I have not noticed anything that I would recommend for improvement so far."
"An area for improvement is the integration with WhatsApp. Currently, it is available only through a third party, which incurs additional costs."
"The solution needs to include accurate and free online tutorials."
"I found it significantly complex and not user-friendly."
"We are using the lowest version of it. As we become more sophisticated, we might outgrow the tool, but there are features that are available in the higher-level versions, which I'm unfamiliar with, that might be able to meet the needs we would have in the future. They can maybe add some of the features to the basic version or make it more reasonably priced or free."
"Pipedrive has some weaknesses against Salesforce. The documentation of Pipedrive could improve. They need more qualified documentation because I had to fix my colleague's work to correct the reports because they did not find how they can do it, or develop reports. There are some misunderstandings about how to do reporting."
"The integration possibilities with other systems could be better as well. We use it in connection with Octopus CRM, and there's room for improvement."
"Reporting capabilities of the solution could be improved."
"The form builder works even though it has some shortcomings...Also, the forms don't have the ability to avoid or stop people from signing up if they don't have a corporate email."
"You must pay more if you need an additional feature."
"The platform could be even more robust."
"The product is expensive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost of the solution is very similar to that of other solutions like Salesforce CRM."
"The pricing is challenging, which is particularly relevant for countries like Pakistan and others with limited budgets."
"The platform is expensive."
"Dynamics 365 Sales' pricing is in the middle. It's not expensive like SAP and Oracle."
"The product is expensive but provides valuable services."
"We pay $1000 a month for the tool."
"The solution is affordable."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price, and ten is a high price, two or three. For us, everything is expensive because this is a startup, but for a normal company, it should be peanuts."
"Pipedrive is relatively more affordable than other solutions."
"The solution's pricing is excellant. It costs 65 dollars a month for top tier plan."
"Pipedrive is the most cost-effective in terms of the balance between cost and features. I would take Pipedrive over HubSpot or Zoho CRM. It's well-positioned on the market."
"As of now, the pricing and value are quite good."
