This is my opinion about Microsoft: their products are good, but they put substantial investment in sales to show it is a good product. However, when you try to access the documentation, it is high-level, and when you encounter a big problem, you cannot find a solution. You get more answers from the community than from Microsoft support itself. For Power Automate, there is a limit per action, and there are limits related to the APIs. You struggle when trying to scale because you reach the limit. This is the main issue. They advise about using Power Automate, but it is not suitable for large scale operations. At the start of the project, we made this mistake by relying on Power Automate. We discovered latency issues and problems related to the limits exist. We are migrating everything related to Power Automate to use asynchronous plugins because they run on the server side and will not hit this limitation due to the API of Power Automate. With Power Automate, it is no-code, drag and drop functionality that can be built rapidly. However, when running in production, it is more suitable for mid-size and small companies, not for large-scale scenarios where you deploy a solution for a big company.
An area for improvement is the integration with WhatsApp. Currently, it is available only through a third party, which incurs additional costs. If Microsoft could provide direct integration, it would better support customers, especially in the Indian market.
They could improve the product's integration with Teams for seamless collaboration and enhanced administrative functionalities to reduce manual tasks. Full integration with Teams and enhancements in administrative capabilities are key features that would be beneficial for future releases.
Dynamics 365 Sales is very effective. I've been using it for two years now to track my sales targets, and the operation runs smoothly. It's straightforward to understand the needs and opportunities. However, having more dashboards and customizable templates, specifically tailored for sales in Dynamics 365, would enhance its usability even further. Being able to create custom dashboards would be particularly beneficial.
