Process capabilities impress while user setup requires streamlining

I stopped using ADONIS because it is not capable of integrating and automating business processes for the POC. I see that Camunda is more capable for our POC project to orchestrate business processes. We also plan to integrate with UiPath because currently, we are focusing on task automations, not process orchestrations. In the future, we plan to implement process orchestrations. I see that Camunda can integrate UiPath into the process, process model, and process integrations. ADONIS needs improvement mainly in user-friendliness, setup, and installations. As an administrator at that time, I found it quite difficult to manage users because I needed to open specific software, possibly Java-based, which is not web-based and should be installed first to manage the users.

Has improved process modeling and analysis while supporting integration with organizational data

The process design in ARIS BPA does help with our operational efficiency. What we are doing is object library management for various kinds of objects that we are using in ARIS BPA during our process modeling. We are using that to do a lot of analysis on how many times a system is being used in how many processes, who are the major stakeholders, and if we enhance one system, how is it going to impact other processes and integrated processes. This is helping us a lot. Everything related to ARIS BPA is helping us with regards to enhanced processes, strengthened controls, identifying risks, assessing process capabilities, and identifying where the gaps are and what kinds of activities within the processes are automated and manual. We are doing a lot of things with regards to the processes as it is at our heart. Processes are one thing and then we have different kinds of things which are related to it, such as SLAs, guidelines, and policy. We are identifying areas of improvement in other documents as well.

Reveals real bottlenecks, but pricing and usability need work still require improvement.

SAP Signavio Process Manager could be improved in several areas to make it more competitive and accessible. From my experience, the strongest opportunity lies in enhancing its process mining capabilities. While Signavio offers solid functionality, other tools like Celonis provide deeper insights and more seamless integrations, especially when working with large datasets or complex execution paths. Strengthening the integration layer and expanding native process mining features would significantly elevate the platform. Another area for improvement is pricing. The solution tends to be positioned at a premium level, which can limit adoption compared to other tools that offer similar or stronger capabilities at a more accessible cost. A more flexible or tiered pricing model would make the product more appealing to a broader range of organizations. Regarding usability, while the platform is powerful, it can feel advanced for users who do not have a process engineering background. Improving the user interface and offering more intuitive guidance for non-technical stakeholders would help increase engagement and ease of use across teams. In terms of support, the setup experience is manageable, especially with technical assistance, but there is room for SAP to provide more consistent and accessible support to ensure a smoother learning curve for new users. Overall, enhancements in process mining depth, integration capabilities, pricing flexibility, and user-friendliness would make SAP Signavio Process Manager a more compelling and widely adoptable solution.
