Has many features in need of improvement, including its monitoring, interface, dashboard and technical support
The solution has many areas in need of improvement. I cannot cite just one or two. These include management, monitoring, interface, dashboard and technical support, by way of example. A checklist should be included and the user interface should be addressed. The solution has a function which allows one to give feedback for every employee and to do so overall. The visibility, GUI and features involved in the feedback function are not up to snuff. Employee service details are an issue.

I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is stable."
"The most valuable feature of Oracle HCM Cloud is its integration."
"We haven't had a single issue with stability, and we've been using it for more than three years."
"Recruitment, talent management, and payroll are the most important features of talent management, especially in the Middle East, where I work. Performance management includes objective settings, performance evaluation, talent review, and succession planning. It also covers goal cascading, setting objectives, performance evaluations, and midyear reviews for performance improvement."
"It's highly stable because the system is totally managed by Oracle, Oracle provides 99.9% availability for the system uptime."
"Oracle HCM Cloud is easier to use than Oracle ETS. Everything is included on one page, and we no longer need to do workarounds. For example, creating elements, eligibility profiles, and formulas is much easier."
"The solution's scalability potential is very good. We have more than 1,000 users ourselves."
"In my opinion, one of the most useful features in Oracle HCM Cloud is that we currently have so many things on the same screen—we don't need to click so many times to get the answers; on the same screen, we get a lot of information, which is really helpful."
"Oracle HCM Cloud is essential for security needs and especially for payroll. The payroll feature is very good."

Cons

"The solution has many areas in need of improvement, including management, monitoring, interface, dashboard and technical support."
"Although the performance management is good, it could be improved as its functionality is quite basic."
"The user interface, as well as the interfaces between modules, should definitely be enhanced."
"Cloud learning can be improved."
"I would focus on making high volume recruitment more bulky."
"What's not working that well at the moment is the information flow between the different HR modules. This can be improved by Oracle."
"I think it could use more features, perhaps artificial intelligence, since that's becoming more prominent in the world, and it's not yet implemented in HCM."
"The product is comparably complex to install and deploy properly."
"It could be more user-friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"I rate the product's pricing a seven out of ten."
"I don't know how much it costs, but I know that everything is included. We don't pay anything extra apart from the licensing fee."
"On an annual basis, we pay about $25,000 for our company. This includes the VAT, support, upgrades and everything else."
"The price for Oracle HCM Cloud is expensive in Iran, but in other countries, such as Turkey, it can be reasonably priced."
"Oracle HCM offers many features at a low price."
"I am not normally involved in the product's pricing since it normally involves the packages that a user chooses. Pricing differs based on a case-to-case scenario and client-to-client basis."
"There is a license required for the use of this solution and we are on an annual license."
"The contract for one of them will be extended for three years and for another one for two years. One of them is paying monthly, and another one is paying per quarter. I don't know about the third one. So, it differs."
