Strong financial modules but dealing with data is very old fashioned
The system has bugs, is not user friendly, and requires too much customization. I consider the solution open source with full customization, but ours was not done correctly at the beginning because we still have many issues. We always need consultants to do changes or corrections. We are eight years after implementation but we still have system bugs. For example, we have the option to assign serial numbers for accounts payable and receivable vouchers. We have to select manual serial numbers and change the numbering every year. It is not logical to have two different vouchers for two different vendors but both with the same serial number unless you manually change them. Something happened during implementation that allows this to occur. For another example, we have some approval hierarchies in the system. If someone delegates an action, the system sometimes jumps to the next approval and ignores handling the delegated action.

Offers seamless integration and talent management feature supports frequent equipment drives, facilitating smooth operations
The GUI interface should be more user-friendly. Because, when I first started working on these modules, I was guided step-by-step by my senior colleagues. But for someone new to the system, there should be a better, more user-interactive interface that makes it easier for users to understand. When I first saw it, it felt like a human-understandable version of Linux, because a simple Linux system is not user-friendly for most people. While programmers may understand it, the GUI interfaces on current Linux systems are still not user-friendly enough. That's the point. When I first saw these modules, I had that initial impression. But, as I started working with them, things started to make sense. So, it was just an initial response, and with time, it was fine. My suggestion is that the user interface needs to be more user-friendly, especially for new users.

"It can easily be developed into an application."
"The most valuable features are the financial-related capabilities."
"The tool's implementation has resulted in significant time savings, ranging from 30 to 50 percent across various processes. Oracle HCM, particularly its payroll functionality, has proven to be highly valuable for our organization. Additionally, the ability to implement various customizations has proven valuable. The robust nature of Oracle HCM Cloud ensures high accuracy."
"Since it is an integrated solution, it brings speed and efficiency to the business process."
"We have 35,000 employees in our organization, so we consider the solution to be scalable."
"The solution's scalability potential is very good. We have more than 1,000 users ourselves."
"What I like most about Oracle HCM Cloud is that I didn't see any area that needs to be dramatically improved. I also appreciate that it has good integration with other Oracle products. The process of integrating Oracle HCM Cloud is rather explanatory. I also found the Oracle library to be helpful. As Oracle HCM Cloud is quite a robust solution, I like it versus other solutions. I like the people at Oracle."
"The most valuable feature is fast reporting."
"I like that it is mobile responsive and you can work directly with the vendor on specific requirements that you might have."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is a cloud-based tool."

Cons

"I would say the integration needs improvement. Oracle needs to work on the integration layer to make the solution much more robust and modern."
"E-Business Suite's user experience and interface could be improved."
"Sometimes I have issues with the performance tuning."
"The reporting needs to be improved."
"It is on the expensive side."
"Improving the reporting and user interface of Oracle ERP would be beneficial and is something that can be considered for future updates."
"The implementation took a long time but it was for many reasons. However, Oracle made sure that the solution and systems were up and running."
"Earlier when our organization was small they chose Oracle because in the telecommunication industry everybody was using Oracle. Our company has grown to a size where our particularly billing phase has created some challenges and now we are looking at alternate solutions. There is not a billing engine or module that you can buy from Oracle that can be added to this EBS solution to fix our problem. They should add a billing module or engine to the solution."
"Oracle should have different bundles to provide access to courses. Then, we would be able to increase our knowledge on how to use Oracle applications."
"The solution has much room for improvement in all the modules."
"HCM's analytics features could be improved."
"It would be very nice if we were able to roll back transactions from data that was loaded with the data loader."
"The features available in EBS should be available on the cloud as well. When these features are not available on the cloud, it's hard to convince customers to migrate."
"I would like to see more direct access for both human resources and employees without so many screens to navigate."
"I would like to see improvements in the user experience, specifically reducing the number of clicks required to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, enhancing the look and feel of the front end and allowing for a greater level of configuration would be beneficial. Its pricing should be less."
"I rate the technical support of Oracle HCM Cloud an eight out of ten. There is some room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Oracle has different licensing models available. For example, concurrent user license metric and power unit licensing metric. It is different from product to product, but for the application itself, the license is by the number of users."
"Oracle's pricing is on the higher end."
"The pricing of the solution is at about $700-$750 per year."
"Both the current projects and future projects should be defined well. Licensing should be done according to current and near future plans."
"This is a highly-priced application and would not be affordable for small or medium business domains."
"This product is more expensive if you compare it to SAP."
"I have found the solution overall to be expensive. There are additional fees on top of the standard license."
"Licensing is on a yearly basis. There is an initial cost, and the standard fee is 22% per year."
"Though I cannot comment on the solution's cost, a fixed cost is involved based on my understanding. The cost multiplies based on the number of users."
"The solution is quite expensive for small and medium-sized companies."
"I am not normally involved in the product's pricing since it normally involves the packages that a user chooses. Pricing differs based on a case-to-case scenario and client-to-client basis."
"There is a subscription to use this solution, and there can be additional fees."
"The solution’s pricing is high."
"There is a license required for the use of this solution and we are on an annual license."
"According to the Turkish market, the pricing is a little bit expensive."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
