What is our primary use case?
We create user groups in Yammer, so we use it mainly for communications and engagement.
The features in Yammer that I find most beneficial for team collaboration, communication, and engagement are whenever we share any updates, it automatically generates emails, and it goes to different people.
How has it helped my organization?
Yammer saves our time because we can communicate with a lot of people at the same time without sending a lot of emails.
I have seen a productivity boost from having Yammer.

What needs improvement?
I think we should have some improvements in Yammer, similar to what we have in Facebook and others, where we can have targeted communications, so that we can filter some communications to go to a specific subset of that group, not to everybody.
We would love to have some AI technologies included in Yammer, but I do not have a specific use case in mind right now.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Yammer for five years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I have not faced any overall challenges or complexities with Yammer throughout my experience.
I find Yammer stable in terms of performance.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Yammer is scalable.
In our environment, almost everybody uses Yammer, so it will be thousands of people who are using Yammer.
How are customer service and support?
I have some knowledge about Microsoft tech support.
I have not used Microsoft technical support too much, so I cannot comment on that.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Apart from Yammer, I have worked with Outlook, but that is also a Microsoft product, so Yammer is the only one that comes to my mind for communication.
The main differences, both pros and cons of Microsoft technologies in comparison to IBM products are that they address completely different use cases. IBM products are more suited for requirements management, while the products we use are for requirements management and configuration management, quality testing, and test management. Yammer is mainly for communication.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a productivity boost from having Yammer.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I do not know anything about the pricing or licensing cost of Yammer, as this is not something that I am involved in.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend Yammer to others if someone wants to communicate with a big team and needs a good communication platform.
I cannot think of any advice or recommendation to share with users who would like to start working with Yammer.
On a scale of one to ten, I would overall rate Yammer as a product an eight.
