Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Ticketing has helped prioritize support tasks while contract and project management have required better integration and pricing flexibility
I don't know if N-able MSP Manager could have some additional features in the future to make it more competitive because it might already be available and I'm not aware of it.I cannot say that N-able MSP Manager dashboard is intuitive, but I don't see any big difference with ManageEngine. From the deployment perspective with N-able MSP Manager, I cannot have higher expectations because it is a SaaS solution, so it was deployed as is from the technical perspective. From the business perspective, the deployment is complex, but I cannot tell you that it is less complex than ManageEngine. The main reason that made me change my mind and proceed with ManageEngine is the availability of add-ons in combination with their pricing.

Organized real-time customer chats have improved support efficiency and response handling
One thing I found unique about Sendbird is how smooth the real-time chat feels. It does not feel delayed or clunky. Conversations flow naturally, as though you are talking to someone in real time. If I could improve one thing, I would add more built-in analytics around conversations, such as clearer insights on response times, common issues, and agent performance. That would make it much easier to optimize support without relying on external tools. One improvement I see for Sendbird would be more flexibility in customizing the chat interface, especially around how conversations are displayed for agents. Sometimes, when handling multiple chats, having better layout controls or quick filters would make it much easier to stay organized. I also would appreciate more built-in analytics inside the platform itself, such as clearer breakdowns of response times, chat resolution rates, and common customer issues. Right now, you often need external tools to get that level of insights. Overall, it works very well, but those improvements would make the day-to-day support work much smoother and much more efficient.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"During the digital transformation of a company, the number of internal portals and applications increases leading to an increased number of data silos."
"Automation Anywhere has saved us a lot of time, money & efforts by automating our ServiceNow tickets."
"It is very self-explanatory, making it easy for non-technical users to develop."
"AA has improved our organization in a positive manner."
"I think that one of the coolest features that what Automation Anywhere has come up with is AI Sense. I see an immense potential there. Using AI Sense, we can automate outside Citrix. That's going to remove the client dependency or overall automation journey, and that can give lot of optimization, cost saving, and the time to market."
"The integrations of Automation Anywhere with the mainframe application for banking companies are among the most valuable features... we were able to create very good solutions integrated with that kind of platform using Automation Anywhere."
"With Automation Anywhere, it will automate everything; it's smooth, effective, and very quick, making it easy to maintain websites and everything in the backend team while filtering out errors so everything is automated."
"We've saved a lot of time. How much time we save depends on the process. It's likely at least 50%. Sometimes, it's up to 70%."
"I am impressed with the tool's integration with our mail system."
"Don't get scared of the price tag because it's definitely worth it."
"I like that you can do all the things with it. You can patch, and you can run the scheduled tasks. You can remote in, upload files, and download files. You can log onto a computer PowerShell, or command prompt, without having to log into RDP. I also like its ease of use."
"At a significantly lower price, I managed to get project management modules, contract management, and CMDB, which were not all available in N-able MSP Manager."
"This is a premier product and it has been around for a long time."
"The best advantage for us, since we use all N-able products, is that the MSP portal centralizes everything."
"We are an MSP, and for what we do, we have one centralized dashboard, and even though we're a small IT team, we can manage a ton of clients with a lot of automated processes, even for patch management."
"Sendbird provides many features for real-time messaging, such as receipt ID and typing indicators."
"The backend system was managed by Sendbird, eliminating the need for caching systems or local storage on user devices."
"The Sendbird developer portal provides each step, including methods, making it easy to implement."
"Features similar to WhatsApp, such as online and offline statuses, message reactions, and replies, add significant value."
"There are many useful features with Sendbird."
"Sendbird has positively impacted my organization because we do not have to build custom chatbots with code, and we could do no-code deployment, which is simply straightforward."
"Overall, Sendbird is a solid choice if you are looking for a reliable, scalable chat solution without the overhead of building and maintaining your own messaging infrastructure."
"Sendbird is a very strong, reliable tool when it comes to real-time communications."

Cons

"The basic features are acceptable, but advanced tools often require deeper technical expertise, which can slow adoption. Additionally, some users experience delays in customer support for complex issues."
"It has been challenging integrating Automation Anywhere with other solutions, due to all of the controls, as we are a bank."
"We have been looking at processes which can easily transition into a large scale environment, where you can have cloud or hybrid model. However, being a bank, some of our processes are critical and we would like to hold those on-premise. This limits us with our usage of Automation Anywhere."
"The initial implementation of Automation Anywhere regarding the elastic search and database set connection can be a little difficult. However, I am skilled enough to get through it. There were some balancing issues that my other team members had to manage. They are having difficulty in balancing when I checked the architecture properly. We determined later that there was no need for a load balance to be done on the servers. We didn't do any load balancing and then the elastic search was not done."
"We are having some challenges when it comes to stability."
"I don't use the technical support a lot. It feels like a lot of time that they will ask us to check the user manual."
"Custom models with advanced features can be included in the IQ Bot models for unstructured and semi-structured data."
"The Automation Anywhere University courses have helped us, but it could improve some things, like how the courses are designed."
"There are too many products out there. What I would like to see is a simplified solution that is packaged better, where you can easily implement or turn on the functionality that you need."
"I'd like to see a way to import contacts in bulk using an Excel sheet or another import method."
"The tool needs to improve its customization of the user interface."
"Its reporting is lousy and bad. It is not as good as it should be. There is too much work involved to get what you want. Most times, you have to call them to customize some stuff. I just don't like that part. They need to work on their reporting. They have a way to go."
"Comparing the pricing of N-able MSP Manager to ManageEngine, it is a little bit too high."
"Its reporting is lousy and bad. It is not as good as it should be."
"I thought that there should be the audio and the video call functionality as well."
"Their pricing is very high compared to competitors, which is a concern for us."
"Impersonating a user or using a template user to send messages for development purposes would be very useful."
"A major issue was the requirement for a separate connection to Sendbird, resulting in a delay when initiating the chat."
"Sendbird can be improved by looking into the app ID and improvements on a daily basis."
"Their teams could be better in sync, as I had a very bad bug wherein all three SDKs had a problematic initialization order that required a bug fix version to be released after 17 email exchanges to finally get them to agree that the fault was on their side, which was pretty painful."
"If I could improve one thing, I would add more built-in analytics around conversations, such as clearer insights on response times, common issues, and agent performance."
"To improve Sendbird, it could provide features such as those in WhatsApp, including allowing users to share their current location and live location, and enabling users to keep and share their current status with others."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is costly and the licensing is very confusing."
"It's justified because we have saved quite a bit of money at the company and many manual hours. Overall, it justifies the cost."
"Pricing is too high for small-scale groups. The Control Room yearly fee is high, making it difficult to break even."
"Our licensing costs are setup on an annual basis."
"The initial setup and licensing fees are high, and although it saves costs in the long run, reaching the break-even point can take at least six months."
"I am not responsible for the pricing part, but I know the pricing is competitive compared to other tools."
"I don't know exactly what the pricing schemes are for the product as this type of negotiation is not my responsibility, but I think the basic pricing comes to $15,000."
"Based on what I've heard, it's costly, but I don't know much about its pricing."
"I would rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten since it's not the cheapest one in the market."
"I don't know the exact cost, but I know it's reasonable. Its cost of entry is not bad. I've had other organizations sign up for it. I don't know how much they paid, but it wasn't bad. You charge for every object. You charge for AV, and you charge for servers. There is a charge for everything or every object in that. I know we make money from it, but I don't know what it is."
"Don't get scared of the price tag because it's definitely worth it."
"There is a starter plan for $399 per month, and a pro plan for $799 dollars."
