Has proactive monitoring with predictive insights and a user-friendly interface
Some of the most valuable features of CloudIQ include its health status alerts, which allow you to see quickly if there is something that needs immediate attention, preventing the need to check each system individually. It provides a status with traffic light colors, where red indicates danger, yellow means attention is needed, and green represents normal conditions to easily understand the health of the environment. The quick overview aids in decision-making. Additionally, CloudIQ's predictive capabilities, which are enhanced by artificial intelligence, have improved operational efficiency by providing proactive information to prevent issues before they arise.

Great scalability, versatility, infrastructure coverage and ease of implementation
I rate the initial setup an eight out of ten. The number of people needed for deployment depends on the customer, but we usually need at least one person and two to three at other times. The initial implementation takes about two months. The full implementation can be infinite because you may want to implement more. The product does not require a lot of maintenance. To increase the implementation, we push additional services in the first and second years to make it more robust and fully implemented. We usually sell to big enterprises. It can also be affordable for smaller enterprises, but we don't work with them a lot. We have from 2,000 to 10,000 workers. So the product itself can have five, ten or even 20 users.

Pros

"The dashboard is clear and user-friendly."
"CloudIQ allows us to monitor our servers centrally, and we can receive notifications in case of issues, like a potential hard drive failure."
"CloudIQ allows us to monitor our servers centrally, and we can receive notifications in case of issues, like a potential hard drive failure."
"The best thing about this solution is that you can check for the infrastructure and system updates that you might need to be compliant with the Cloud."
"Has really nice roll-up dashboards."
"Some of the most valuable features of CloudIQ include its health status alerts, which allow you to see quickly if there is something that needs immediate attention, preventing the need to check each system individually."
"The dashboard is clear and user-friendly."
"It's convenient because you can access it from a mobile device without needing a laptop."
"Technical support is great."
"DX Unified Infrastructure Management offers visibility into network activities, integration capacity, and enhances monitoring at the core and application levels."
"It gives us visibility inside applications. It helps us to dig down and find the root cause of any issue within the network."
"What I like about DX Unified Infrastructure Management is that it's a very good product. The feature I found most valuable in the solution is the MCS feature, which is the automatic deployment of the objects you want to monitor. You can set up a system, for example, if it's a Windows machine and I want to test specific devices on it, I could do that through DX Unified Infrastructure Management. That type of deployment is very good because it means you won't miss any monitoring aspect on any server."
"Monitoring infrastructure and business applications are the most valuable features."
"It's easy to push out across numerous servers. Very scalable."
"Probe packages and probe deployment."
"Having all of our information within one tool set; our alerts, our monitors, and the things that our operations team needs to function."

Cons

"The process of upgrading could be streamlined."
"The main limitation of CloudIQ is that it is intended to be used exclusively with Dell hardware."
"There is a need for improvement in predictive maintenance, which I assume is somewhat AI-driven."
"Supporting legacy systems is an area that can be improved."
"The reporting capabilities of this solution could be improved."
"In terms of improvement, they should enhance the product range."
"It can improve the reporting facility to create custom reports or dashboards."
"If you have a heterogeneous environment, there might be some limitations in coverage since CloudIQ is primarily designed for Dell-based infrastructures."
"Within this product there are individual probes, and each of these probes doesn't always necessarily output the same kind of information into our database. So when we try to collect what's called QoS data, from one probe we might get a ton of information, lots of good stuff that we can use in our database, but then from another probe, we might not get so much or we might not be able to pull the things that we want to."
"We would like to see automatic network topology."
"We had to do some work to make what was more of a business class solution work at an enterprise level."
"Better support and more accessible resources are crucial. Customers have expressed that support is not as flexible, and it is difficult to obtain necessary information quickly."
"They need to continue to advance the filter capabilities, and provide more input fields."
"I think it can be improved by a greater provision of specialized technical support, as there are very few trained personnel there."
"Currently lacks a mobile application which would be helpful."
"It would be good to implement views showing the aggregated status graphically."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe it is a free product because we don't pay for it."
"The solution is more expensive than NetApp which offers file systems in various price ranges."
"The product-price ratio is better than other brands such as Fortinet or SonicWall."
"Pricing for DX Unified Infrastructure Management isn't cheap at all. It's a complex tool, so you have to pay more. No one is happy with a large bill to pay, but if it's a complex product and you designed a complex solution to be monitored, it'll be your fault that you need to buy an expensive product, and that would be implicit in the design of DX Unified Infrastructure Management. Monitoring is just a small part of it. Sometimes you have to pay a significant amount of money for a complex yet very good solution."
"The license cost depends on the number of probes and robots."
"CAD $400,000 annually."
"This product is expensive compared to other vendors (SolarWinds, ManageEngine)."
"Reasonable setup cost and licensing prices."
