Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution allows me to connect and collaborate with my classes.""Document loading and annotation.""One of the features that people enjoy is the whiteboard, providing opportunities for academics to present content and for students to contribute. The platform also allows for the creating of different rooms, enabling large classes to break into smaller groups for discussions. Students can then return to the main classroom to share their opinions. It integrates with LMS."

"Remote connect via webpage. I use it to support employees when I am not in the office or when they are at a remote location.""Due to the fact that we can help our clients virtually, the solution has allowed us to reduce our travel costs by about 90%.""The unattended access functionality is a valuable feature, because I can go in at any time that I want, deploy fixes, or do maintenance.""Setup was very straightforward. All I had to do was write a GPO on my domain controller and it automatically installed the agent that I downloaded from the software. I literally had to do nothing.""The remote management piece is the most valuable aspect of the solution for us due to the fact that we can support our clients after hours.""Unattended access is the most important feature.""it gives me the ability to remotely connect to machines that I manage without user intervention.""Better than TeamViewer and useful for fixing problems remotely."

Cons
"The system can overload when too many try logging in.""If there were maybe more tutorials outside of what I'm aware the university is suggesting, I would take more tutorials on effective ways to deliver content. I come from the industry and content was always needed when people that were observing were smart and involved and decision-makers instead of so passively just trying to pass the course. In my imagination, the tutorials would be a tool where the learners themselves can have much more hands-on learning during a Collaborate session.""We faced outages when the user limit went over a certain number."

"The solution should add the ability to video chat with the user on the other end.""Mobile interface.""I would like to see more overlap, meaning, I would like to be able to see what processes are running on a computer, for example, or what services are running.""There could be improvement to the remote command line tools.""Reporting could definitely use improvement. With LogMeIn Rescue, I used to be able to, for instance, at the end of the month, pull off a report of every session. It was very simple... I could see the name that was typed in, the IP address to the computer that it was connected to, if it was running Windows... It just doesn't seem - there might be but I haven't found it - to be a way of pulling that information out of ConnectWise.""The recent redesign has made it slower and basically worthless.""I really didn't care for the onboarding process and it is something that should be improved.""Something that I would like to see in the future is mobile video streaming. They do provide audio conferencing, but seeing the problem makes it easier to solve the problem. If they had video streaming, if a client had a physical problem with something and I couldn't get remote access, the client could use his mobile phone to show me the problem. In these cases, even if a client's systems were down, I could help, so long as I had a mobile phone environment."

  • "Good price and works well."
  • "Their licensing model is good, their pricing model is good, their service is good; bandwidth is excellent. They're consistent."
  • "I think the product's pricing is a good value. I paid $600 a year and that was fine for me. It was about $50 a month. Licensing is all very straightforward."
  • "It is priced well and it is still a great value. Although I have been reading a lot about Splashtop. They are getting pretty competitive on their pricing, including a fairly easy to use remote support for mobile applications, like iOS and Android."
  • "Pricing is fair for Control and the licensing is simple."
  • "The cloud version is relatively inexpensive, but the on-premise version is expensive if you do not need three technicians, only one or two for concurrent sessions."
  • "It is priced fairly."
  • "Make sure you have enough licensing for all the techs that you have."
