Useful in webinars, meetings and online classrooms
One of the features that people enjoy is the whiteboard, providing opportunities for academics to present content and for students to contribute. The platform also allows for the creating of different rooms, enabling large classes to break into smaller groups for discussions. Students can then return to the main classroom to share their opinions. It integrates with LMS.

Utilizing versatile features for efficient personal and work meetings
Zoom offers a number of interesting and valuable features. One of the most interesting is the ability to share only audio and provide ambient music without sharing a screen. The breakout room feature is much more developed than other solutions, allowing users to stay in the same meeting and move to different rooms and back to the main room. The sharing features are great for projecting people who should be in focus. Another valuable feature is the virtual entrance, which uses a username and password recognized by the Zoom system, showing the person's full name and ID. Additionally, the use of video and a good fixed background improves visibility compared to other applications. These features differentiate Zoom from others.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Document loading and annotation."
"One of the features that people enjoy is the whiteboard, providing opportunities for academics to present content and for students to contribute. The platform also allows for the creating of different rooms, enabling large classes to break into smaller groups for discussions. Students can then return to the main classroom to share their opinions. It integrates with LMS."
"The solution allows me to connect and collaborate with my classes."
"One of the biggest features of Zoom is its stability."
"The most valuable feature of Zoom is the webinars."
"One of the most valuable features is the user interface. With every new update, they introduce new useful features."
"Zoom is scalable. We have about 10,000 users at my company."
"Zoom has positively impacted my organization because it's essential for communication."
"No interruptions occurred, and nothing changed even when we had 30 people; it wasn't laggy or interrupting."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"It meets all of our basic requirements. It's easy to use."

Cons

"The system can overload when too many try logging in."
"We faced outages when the user limit went over a certain number."
"If there were maybe more tutorials outside of what I'm aware the university is suggesting, I would take more tutorials on effective ways to deliver content. I come from the industry and content was always needed when people that were observing were smart and involved and decision-makers instead of so passively just trying to pass the course. In my imagination, the tutorials would be a tool where the learners themselves can have much more hands-on learning during a Collaborate session."
"In addition to Zoom, I frequently utilize Slack, and I particularly appreciate its huddle functionality. What I find appealing about Slack is the ability to simultaneously chat and have video capabilities. It would be beneficial if Zoom offered similar features integrated with some form of channel system, although I acknowledge that I am not involved in the product management aspect. Personally, I believe this integration would make Zoom even more compelling and engaging for users like myself."
"I would like to see an integration with Microsoft."
"If anything, the updates could be less frequent."
"Lacks an indicator on chat to show that a message has been read."
"Security is something Zoom lacks. If you're trying to get proprietary buy-in and enterprise buy-in, security is the top priority. And even though the user interface is simple, every solution could use a tune-up in that department."
"They may need to scale it some more in terms of global users."
"When sharing a screen, it's only dedicated to one particular window, not multiple windows"
"There were several instances where we couldn't connect into a meeting just on video and then couldn't even dial-in."
