Helps us to implement and understand the status of our projects
The initial setup is straightforward. The solution's deployment takes around two months time. We have to set up the solution. We have to put in the data to ensure that the solution is working. We need to fill out our process, our tools, and our data. Two developers were involved in the deployment process. It is a self-maintained solution that requires updates from time to time. I rate the setup an eight out of ten.

Easy to tag people and has a form system to collect information but cannot work in multiple channels simultaneously
There are several areas where Wrike could improve. First, it doesn't allow accessing multiple channels simultaneously, which would be useful. Transferring data from one project to another is also difficult. It would be easier to work on parallel tasks across different projects. I've noticed others facing similar issues when I check the chat on their website. The tool should also improve coordination between external stakeholders and collaborators. It should also integrate financial features.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I would recommend trying planningIT"
"ERP approach to IT (edit architecture elements as data using forms, easier for many people compared to drawing / modeling) Hundreds of predefined reports (not only for analysis but also for displaying profiles for single elements like an application including dynamically generated diagrams based on edited data) Very sophisticated meta model (dozens of man years of experience condensed in it) Enterprise collaboration features Web client for the enterprise, either on-site installation or running in a private cloud."
"The dashboard is the most valuable feature."
"My personal experience with the product was good, primarily because of the support team's responsiveness."
"Wrike provides us with this system in an intuitive, robust platform that is beautiful to look at."
"Visibility and organization are the most valuable features of Wrike."
"I can see at a glance what assignments are in process, who they are assigned too, and it basically saves me a lot of time and confusion trying to keep track of everyone and their workloads."
"Tagging and following of tasks."
"It has a simple and easy-to-use UI."
"By creating a custom dashboard with daily priorities employees stay motivated and efficient."
"This is a great product if you take the time to learn it and implement it in a way that makes sense for your business."
"We utilize time tracking and reports most often."

Cons

"Only few predefined integrations with other tools exist, most integrations are implemented via an integration module based on XML typically needing vendor expertise."
"The tool is clearly not very intuitive."
"The user-experience, enhanced performance, and in-hand governance can be improved."
"It would be nice if it was a little more intuitive and user-friendly, with less of a learning curve."
"Wrike needs to be more responsive to community requests for new features."
"Free version is very limited, but Pro version that includes Gantt charts is reasonable for SMBs."
"Unfortunately there are a few dislikes: Various exports like the whole folder structure with the users who are directly shared with or the users/collaborators full list is not working."
"We feel that the actual project reports and roll-ups could be a lot different."
"Possibly another user group, the collaborators cant do enough and they dont have a program it seems to have a ton of users."
"More options in the "basic" paid version would be nice."
"The dataset that can be exported and built-in reports/dashboards needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive. There is a yearly licensing cost. There are no additional costs, only the standard license, and the cloud license."
"Wrike is very expensive, and its price is almost $1,400."
"Wrike is not so expensive, but I don't know exactly how it compares with other tools. Wrike might not be so cheap when we are using it for a lot of users."
"From a pricing perspective, I would rate Wrike a four out of five."
"Wrike is expensive."
