Centralized global HR data has improved expense control and supports secure employee management
The features of SAP HCM are valued by me as it had a clear idea about what was expected from the user point. The person or the application has a lot of features and it had actually all the information needed from our part. That aspect is nice. Apart from that, the T-codes are really helpful to understand which particular option we need when we put the T-code in the search box. The stability and reliability of SAP HCM product are really nice, very helpful, and secured. It has no point of leakage and is mostly reliable, as most companies and organizations prefer SAP over many tools. As for security, it's already secured from the beginning itself, and that is the only reason our organization relies on it. Since it's very useful at a global scale, it is a very useful tool and is very easy to access and handle.

Enables users to share curated content and helps schedule the best time to post content
The solution helped us get a fairly good footprint in our channel. It makes it very easy for many of us who have a lot of contacts in the channel. We can share curated content from the team on our social channels. It makes it easy. I could select what I want to share and choose the best time for it to be posted there, and it will. The product makes it very easy for many people dealing with different parts of our channel to push our content out to people in it. It works pretty well. There may be other capabilities that I do not know about. The solution works fine for my use cases. It's easy. It's not time-consuming. It takes 15 minutes to go through it. The solution uses AI to help schedule the best time for things to post to get the most reads and likes. It is pretty effective.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Payroll processing is my favorite HCM feature, and I like all the SuccessFactors talent modules also. SAP is making good progress on enhancements to the features in the SF modules."
"It simplifies everything for human capital management, and all users can do self-enrollment for leaves and those kinds of things."
"The user interface is the solution's most valuable feature, as it makes it easy for us to use."
"SAP Payroll module is one of the best in the market and is integrated with benefits, time, etc."
"Scalability is excellent, and I would rate it ten out of ten."
"I like the talent, recruitment, and learning features the most."
"The most valuable feature, in my view, is the level of exceptions or error messages that come back when something goes wrong."
"The most valuable feature, in my view, is the level of exceptions or error messages that come back when something goes wrong."
"The solution helped us get a fairly good footprint in our channel."

Cons

"The extensibility of the integration could be improved."
"SAP needs a total upgrade to the user interface. I've worked with the performance module and the objectives and goals module in HCM and they're far from being satisfying to any customer compared to what exists now with SuccessFactors."
"Regarding vSAN ReadyNodes, there needs to be a clear assessment of areas that require improvement from the product perspective."
"Reports need to be added on the time management side."
"Responses for enhancements can be slow."
"I would say the speed of SAP HCM tool might need some optimization."
"It takes a long time to apply an update patch to the system."
"Managing changes in applications can be challenging since it complicates testing and unit testing, resulting in longer testing phases. This time-consuming process often leaves little room for actual work."
"I don't have direct access to the performance statistics."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Be careful and guard against future changes in licensing."
"We purchase the product's yearly license."
"The cost of SAP HCM is high, the license should be reduced. SAP HCM has a lot of hidden costs."
"SAP is expensive, but if you're using the product, then the expensive product becomes inexpensive. Considering its performance and features, I find it quite reasonable."
"The solution is cheap."
"In my view, this product is a waste of money for SMB because there are much better products available and licensing is an issue."
"The cost depends on the size of the organization. Compared to others, I'd say Oracle is number one, followed by Workday and SAP HCM."
"The pricing depends upon the specific model and number of user accounts included in a bundle."
