We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Ramco HCM is a stable system that doesn't have downtime or fluctuation issues. It can also take large volumes and scale up very fast.""It is a good product, and it is suitable for different client requirements. It has customization options and flexibility. You can customize a report or configure the workflow based on your requirements. Everything is there in the product, and you can customize it as per your requirement. Our clients found the automation of the payroll, leave attendance, and onboarding modules the most valuable. The Time and Attendance module is fully integrated with this solution and supports multiple data entry modes, such as barcode, biometric device, fingerprints, and face reading. Its core HR module includes features like movement, expense management, exit, and separation. The compensation and benefits module includes features like welfare, retirement, and superannuation. It also has analytical tools. You can create a real-time report based on your requirements. You can also publish that report in different formats, such as Excel, PDF, HTML, etc. It has a chatbot feature, which is using machine learning and natural language. You can ask questions about your leave balance, attendance, or things like that, and you will get an immediate reply from the chatbot. It also supports approval through email.""Once we implemented this solution, it was customizable for our needs and this has been the most valuable aspect of this solution.""Ramco is user-friendly. The UA is excellent and so easy to use that a customer can easily understand the process with zero knowledge of the system. We can easily walk a new user through the user guide. For each ESS MSS, I can log in to the ESS access. and documentation is available.""Ramco HCM stands out due to its reliability and up-to-date compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.""Payroll processing is very easy. SQL rules can be attached to any pay elements.""The performance management system is really good.""In general, the solution is very flexible and can be configured in multiple ways."

"The installation process isn't very complicated.""The customization feature is the most valuable. I can add candidates to the system without having to go into it manually. I can look at a LinkedIn or PNet profile and literally right-click on it and pass that candidate into my database almost completely. It is 100% accurate for 90% of the time. It also has good security. I can't log in without a fingerprint. To log in, I have to give a fingerprint on my smartphone.""There are two features I love in Zoho Recruit. The first one is mass customization. I can customize the blueprint how I like, add some steps I want to include, and schedule a date and time to send the emails. I can also use a lot of templates. Secondly, the best thing about Zoho is the customer service. Whenever I have an issue or want to upgrade something, I text them through Zoho, and they respond within 40 seconds.""The pricing seems to be very reasonable.""The solution is secure and also very user friendly.""One of the features that I really like is that it's very administratively user-friendly. It is easy to add new managers into the system. It's very easy to switch and add regional capability, for instance. Zoho has put a lot of time into the administrative side to make it functional, which was a huge highlight for me and my team. Zoho's reporting functionality is good. It is easy to run lists in Excel, including dashboard reports, to determine if we are hiring accurately. We were able to tweak and improve our recruitment and hiring functions.""The most valuable feature of Zoho Recruit is I can compete with the larger vendors in the business. I am constantly changing the configuration and the solution adapts to my needs.""Good reporting feature."

Cons
"They can improve the configuration time because it takes more time than other products to configure the system. It could be because they are managing this single product for all countries, but it would be good if they improve the implementation time because we need to implement the solutions within a timeline. They should provide some kind of auto-configuration so that the system can be configured and implemented within a certain timeline. Implementors should have a provision to configure the system in a short time. There should also be an option to move the setup or configuration from staging to production to save time. These types of automation should be there.""The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically.""The talent management and performance appraisal modules could use some improvement.""The product itself sometimes feels inconsistent because it comes with bugs.""The mobile app and web page user experience could be more user friendly.""One area for improvement in Ramco HCM is its UI, which could be more intuitive. Another area for improvement in the system is that it can be challenging to make some modular-based changes to it.""Ramco could be a bit faster and offer more use cases. A prime aim is to get analytics and this is lacking in Ramco. This lack of reporting is one of the reasons we are moving away from using Ramco.""The mobile app for this solution could be improved as it lacks many features."

More Ramco HCM Cons →

"There is a limit to the number of lines you can extract.""No ability to automatically update details.""It lacks the functionality for finalizing the process when a successful placement is made. There is no invoicing. It is missing the functionality for setting the placement and a start date. I do permanent placements as well as contractors, but it is not really geared towards contractors. So, I have to have a separate solution to manage contractors, timesheets, and things like that. It is just a bit of a pain. It is not as simple as some of the competitors, but it is far more able. There is a lot more to it, and it does a lot more than what any of the competitors currently do, which makes it a little bit more complicated to use, but it is easy enough. None of my staff have any issues. In all such solutions, you have to feed more than what they give you. It is a database at the end of the day, and I would like it to give me things. I would like to load a lead or get someone to just load leads all day, and I would like it to come back to me and say, "There's this position that you've loaded, and these candidates match. Can I send it?" I'd like it to be a little bit more proactive and feed me as much information as I feed it.""Candidate filtering is a little cumbersome. I would love to see all the design and effort Zoho put in to the administrative user experience also be applied to the manager experience side. Quite a bit of filtering has to be done to get to what you want. Also, you can't get through many candidates because Zoho Recruit has a cap on how many candidates you can view at a time. If you've got hundreds of candidates per job, you may have to scroll through 10 pages.""The pricing could be a bit more reasonable.""Zoho Recruit could benefit from increased flexibility and customization when creating and sending offer letters to new recruits.""I would like them to improve their UX and UI. The front screen or the home page is dull. The tools in the marketplace have flashy home pages and a very funky style. I think that's one area that they can improve. In the future, I would like an option to integrate Zoho by default with other tools, specifically the HR tools. I would love it if I could convert the candidates directly from Zoho. That would be a huge help. They have a paid extension, but it doesn't work well during the trial period.""Zoho Recruit could improve in the ease of use because you need to know how to do scripting or coding to receive some of the functionality in the back end. For example, AI and automation need scripting and coding."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Their customized solution is pretty expensive but much cheaper than its competitors."
  • "I am not aware of the price because I was working in the implementation team, but pricing is generally based on the requirement, modules, headcount, and country."
  • "This solution is priced in the middle compared to other solutions on the market."
  • More Ramco HCM Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "In terms of cost, Zoho is by far the most reasonable for what you're getting. You get the option of monthly or yearly price. It is one cost per person for a license, and it is reasonable. My solutions are $50 per person per month."
  • "It is in the middle price range. Everything is included in the price."
  • "The more you scale the solution the more it will cost. If you want the vendor to do the implementation or migration there are extra fees."
  • "The cost of each user depends on the size of our user base."
  • "Zoho Recruit is an affordable solution in comparison to BambooHR and costs relatively the same as Greenhouse implementation wise. It costs less than $100 per user. Large organizations will be able to get enterprise pricing, and Zoho is transparent with their pricing."
  • "I think it costs about $40 per month for a recruiter account. It comes with ten free accounts. It's well worth the money we are paying."
