We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"There's a helpful community available through the portal.""I have found the most valuable feature to be the straightforward visual editor, it has close to no code required. It allowed us to deploy the email monitoring in this couple of weeks.""For machine learning, there is an in-built document and text classification feature in INTELLIBOT. That is unlike other RPA tools where one needs to procure a separate license. Besides this, the application is easy to use. One valuable feature is the drag-and-drop feature for AI and email intelligence. It is easier than using UiPath's IQ bot.""The return on investment is pretty good because the license cost is cheaper than other RPA tools in the market.""The replay of the automation is an awesome feature.""It is a stable product. We have been using it for 15 months now, and there have been no issues.""This solution is easy to use and requires little coding knowledge."

"Now it has an OCR, optical character recognition, engine where it can extract data from the document.""Kofax TotalAgility is a single package. They provide you with OCR capabilities, BPM capabilities, and case manager features.""It is user-friendly and has good documentation. It's good for developing communication and has a lot of the APIs needed for this purpose. There aren't a lot of software options available from this time period; this is the only one from 2013 that has this concept of microservices.""Kofax TotalAgility is stable.""One feature I like is that it makes the matrix easy for an unstructured document.""Kofax is very easy to use, UI-friendly and allows easy data extraction.""The most valuable features of this solution are automation, ease of billing processes with the process net, and low to no code development.""The product is really good, and it is easy to use. It comes with multiple integrations. The solution keeps up with the trend of Microsoft Copilot and AI."

Cons
"The first pain point of INTELLIBOT was with the development. Whenever the company developed any command, they published it directly onto their SQL site, and our current automation got auto-updated. The second pain point was with the action set. It could be stronger. Moreover, if I am doing UiPath automation, I have to do it with the Internal Report for now.""Has limited functionality and uses extensive resources.""A couple of times, we noticed that some bugs caused the bot to go in the wrong flow.""The trigger actions need to be more robust.""Currently, there are not many documents available on Google that explain each activity and how to use it or how to use the parameters and pass values.""The solution is heavily dependant on scripts, such as JavaScript or any other external script that needs to be a part of the system. If they want to grow, the scripting dependency should go away. They should have built-in libraries to pull in work from.""I would like to see the cognitive marketing platform improved."

More INTELLIBOT Cons →

"The product's console version is old. It should also improve its forum.""Kofax TotalAgility is quite vast and complex as a product. We came from Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation, then we started learning Kofax TotalAgility, so there are a lot of things that were quite straightforward in the Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation cross-motion modules, but to do those in Kofax TotalAgility was a bit more complex or quite long-winded and could be improved. In the next release of Kofax TotalAgility, it would be good to have a straightforward low-code or no-code process because there were instances we struggled with having to put logic into a script or a .NET script, then calling that script, instead of the process being low-code, no-code.""It’s not truly low code yet, as every two or three projects, you will have a situation where you have to go behind the essential things. You will definitely still need to customize.""Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy.""The pricing for Kofax TotalAgility could be more attractive, particularly the cloud version of the solution which was offered to my company. This is its area for improvement.""The one thing I would like to see more of right now: is a simplified form creation. That would be the most significant improvement I would like to see in their product.""Kofax TotalAgility could improve the OTR engine. The page OTR engine is not accurate in predicting the data properly. If you provide many features which are good for business process management without an accurate OTR engine people will not want it.""TotalAgility needs to improve communication with ECMs or other file storage systems because TotalAgility does not have file storage. A good improvement would be to create file storage or integrate with other file storage tools that are currently available."

  • "The licensing cost for Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive, though I'm unable to give you the range, the sales representatives of my company say that the product is quite expensive."
  • "It is slightly more expensive than other tools."
  • "Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive."
  • "It has a perpetual license. You pay once in a lifetime for the volume of scans you will do and the number of users you will have. You can have participants or regular users, and you can have developers and administrators. So, once you purchase it, it is for a lifetime, and then every year, you have to pay for the maintenance. There is an annual maintenance cost, which is about 18% of the licensing cost."
  • "The price of this solution is less than some of the competition."
