Seamless email communication improves cost-effectiveness and security with valuable tracking features
The features of Amazon WorkMail that I have found the most valuable so far include sending emails and tracking whether the email is read or not. I find the feature that checks how many emails have been successfully sent and how many of them have been opened very useful, because in our application, we know the usage of the emails. The encryption of emails, both in transit and at rest, has benefited our security strategy as it is a layer of security that provides us better confidence for customers and also internally tracks the security aspects. The encryption meets my expectations.

Saves server load by sending bulk email notifications efficiently
The best feature SendGrid offers is the ability to send multiple emails at the same time. The ability to send multiple emails at the same time helps my workflow and organization because I do not have to run a loop every time. Once I set all the emails in a comma separator, I can send them to multiple users without creating too much load on my server. SendGrid has positively impacted my organization by solving the notification problem. By using SendGrid, I can easily send notifications to users, and it is simple to use in my Node.js project. SendGrid has helped with notifications because when I send an email, the user knows who is sending it and they can revert back to our CRM team. That is positive for our business and organization.

Pros

"We use the tool for transactional emails and marketing."
"We have cut our costs in half."
"It is highly available and scalable, and it is also highly reliable; I don't lose any of the messages or emails because if there is an issue where the email sent operation failed, Amazon as a platform ensures that the send operation is retried and the email reaches its destination."
"The most valuable thing is that emails sent through SES have a delivery rate of greater than ninety percent."
"Amazon SES is very easy to configure."
"The best feature is that Amazon SES provides verified email messages."
"The encryption of emails, both in transit and at rest, has benefited our security strategy as it is a layer of security that provides us better confidence for customers and also internally tracks the security aspects."
"The product is very user-friendly."
"Mailgun is cheap, secure, fast, and simple."
"I haven't been required to pay yet because they give me 10k free emails per month, so for medium emails, it's the best choice."
"It's a very easy product to set up."
"SendGrid offers features that stand out for me, including that it is very easy to use, especially for a developer."
"It is a stable and scalable solution."
"The most valuable feature is the conditions in automation."
"They enable us to automate all the communication with our clients around commercial campaigns, marketing activities, and also during transactional tasks, basically, any transaction that happens on the account."
"Their REST API feature is the most amazing and easy API I have used."
"They have pretty good support in terms of any issues."
"Overall, it provides a good return on investment through reliability, time savings, and improved communication."
"It is easy to set up."

Cons

"Email service is definitely a requirement from an enterprise standpoint. Many organizations have their own on-premise email services, which take a lot of memory, backup, and other resources. If we can have a completely managed backup solution where we have a tiered backup or a tiered archival to be able to retrieve emails, it would be great. I would like to be able to retrieve emails in real-time (hot retrieval), over the 90-days period (warm retrieval), and over the one-year period (cold retrieval). It would be useful to have tiered backup and retrieval. It would help us in managing emails better and have a better backup solution. So, backup is something that we require."
"Amazon WorkMail's user interface could be more intuitive and user-friendly."
"The solution is quite low-level and lacks some advanced features. For example, it doesn't provide tracking capabilities, such as knowing how many users opened an email, which is crucial for email marketing. You would need to integrate these analytics with other tools to get them. I need to know if there has been a bounce and how customers interacted with the email."
"It would be ideal to have detailed data and reporting on email opens, clicks, bounces, and other metrics, as well as integration with other business intelligence tools."
"There is room for improvement in the support. It's just that customer support, though good, takes time to resolve issues."
"It would be nice if they had a what you say is what you get editor to build newsletters like MailChimp has."
"I would like to see detailed reports on email success and failure rates."
"When we first set up an email on Amazon SES, they had to verify it, which was not fast enough."
"Mailgun doesn't have this."
"Preview of email as sent - currently, the preview is an image."
"The solution needs better templating and email validation."
"A long time ago, I may have had an issue, and I had to wait for support, which wasn't that helpful. However, that was a very long time ago. Overall, I've had a good experience."
"For my use case, SendGrid is very good. The cost could potentially be improved, though I am not very familiar with pricing details."
"Maybe they could have a mobile application to give to admins, so they could see some insights related to the data."
"The biggest problem that we have faced is with the authentication during login."
"The contact limit alerts need to be improved."
"They are backlogged on feature requests, which is a bit of a shame really."
"I would prefer an easy plugin for Linux mail installation."
"Customer Service: 4/5. Technical Support: 3/5."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"WorkMail does require a license, it is, per user."
"The solution should improve its price."
"I rate the solution's pricing as one out of ten. It is close to being cheap. Sometimes, the tool offers a generous amount of free messages, up to 40,000, which is great for startups like ours. This means that we don't accumulate any costs for some months because we stay within the free usage tier. When we exceed the free allocation, the costs are reasonable, and no hidden charges exist."
"It's very cheap. The cheapest among all the services available."
"We pay $80 a month to use the solution."
"I use the essential plan which is $20 a month. After that, we use the pro which is $90 a month, and had all our costs bundled in."
"Its cost can vary. It can go as low as $10 or $15 to $1,000 depending on how much you use it."
"We are using the Advanced plan,10K. That is about $100 per month but sometimes we do go over the limit of the plan."
"My company pays for SendGrid monthly, and though I cannot share the amount, my feedback is that the vendor should accept other modes of payment apart from a credit card."
"The basic plan starts at €90 per month."
"The solution is relatively inexpensive."
