Helps us to implement and understand the status of our projects
The initial setup is straightforward. The solution's deployment takes around two months time. We have to set up the solution. We have to put in the data to ensure that the solution is working. We need to fill out our process, our tools, and our data. Two developers were involved in the deployment process. It is a self-maintained solution that requires updates from time to time. I rate the setup an eight out of ten.

Agile workflows have streamlined sprint planning and tracking for faster feature delivery
Jira has a very good interface and it is very easy to manage sprints, tasks, and epics. The main feature is the hierarchy, as features can be converted into epics and topics, allowing bigger tasks to be partitioned into smaller ones. The hierarchy feature in Jira helps the team significantly compared to other tools that have been used, such as Trello, which is mainly useful only for a waterfall model. For modern Agile practices, Jira is the most adapted tool in the industry. Another valuable feature is that Jira APIs have been used for data science projects to analyze tasks and get insights. This has also been very helpful in the project.

"The integration is nice. We can integrate with TeamViewer and many more solutions. We need to go into Jira to complete the secure software delivery."
"The integration between Confluence and Jira, along with Jira's ticketing system, is a valuable feature the product offers its users."
"Jira's most valuable features are ease of use, simple to understand, and highly flexible. Additionally, you can use kanban or scrum which is a benefit."

"Some small issues with stability."
"I would like to see more integration available with more tools."
"Workflows can be improved. We don't use workflows because we can't handle that much complexity. Its interface could be more intuitive for workflows."
"Users can be confused about how to use this tool as it's very complex."
"There's been the odd amount of JIRA downtime (not self hosted) and sometimes tickets that can't be accessed."
"I want Jira to have more plug-ins, which will allow for more free plug-ins that help with the area of reporting."
"The help desk and services management features are in need of improvement."
"The only thing that JIRA doesn't for us is release management in a way that I can create a list of versions easily."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive. There is a yearly licensing cost. There are no additional costs, only the standard license, and the cloud license."
"We have an enterprise license that includes cloud service and support."
"It does not cost that much."
"There are other solutions that are free making this solution seem expensive in comparison."
"I think the starter pack of three users, up to five users, is free. So you can try it out."
"It depends on the type of license. In terms of subscription, it is cheap, and it works pretty well."
"To try this solution, use their cloud offering to get familiar. After that, it's in my view worth the money."
"There is an annual subscription to use Jira."
"We had a perpetual license but have changed to a subscription."
