In terms of use cases for Blue Prism, I worked on financial, BFSI use cases, specifically in banking and financial tasks, including transaction evaluation in terms of fraud, reconciliations for checking whether POs and invoices reconcile with an automotive client, invoice processing, GST calculation, and HR use cases for an FMCG client involving onboarding, offboarding, and expense-related processing for employee payables.

These AI features have helped in developing scalable and flexible solutions for my customers, as I worked on use cases that involved natural language processing to turn free text into structured data, enabling automation of previously unautomatable tasks. Additionally, I processed voice feedback for sentiment analysis and information extraction, making interactions more intuitive and voice-driven for customers.

I have used Blue Prism's digital workforce to automate repetitive and rule-based processes.

The best feature of Blue Prism that I value the most is the simplicity of their pricing and licensing model, which is easy to understand. The tool is very robust and, being a pioneer in the sector, it is also very stable, particularly in finance where many companies rely on Blue Prism for its reliability and security standards. From a developer perspective, I find developing on Blue Prism simple, clean, and intuitive, making maintenance considerably easier compared to other tools.

These AI features have helped in developing scalable and flexible solutions for my customers, as I worked on use cases that involved natural language processing to turn free text into structured data, enabling automation of previously unautomatable tasks. Additionally, I processed voice feedback for sentiment analysis and information extraction, making interactions more intuitive and voice-driven for customers.

In terms of improvements for Blue Prism, I would suggest enhancements in user-friendliness, particularly in searching for features, which currently lags behind competitors. Despite its excellent implementation capabilities, it can initially appear complex to new users.

With the acquisition by SS&C, the focus should be on including AI-based development features to enhance its capabilities further.

I have been working with the Automation Edge for around a year.

Blue Prism is scalable, being one of the initial entrants into the market.

The digital workforce of Blue Prism has pioneered capabilities for scaling digital workforce members based on varied requirements, such as during the tax season when more digital robots are needed in the tax department, showcasing its scaling ability effectively.

My experience with Blue Prism's technical support has been largely positive, with them being very responsive when needed, especially during the early stages of tool evolution.

I would rate Blue Prism's technical support at around eight out of ten.

Regarding ROI from Blue Prism, it is evaluated from a business perspective, with break-even timelines generally around six to nine months for large implementations, depending on client size and scale.

While the licensing cost is something I haven't checked in a while, I find that although it initially seems costlier than competitors, Blue Prism's licensing model is simpler and proves to be cost-effective over time.

Regarding Blue Prism's integration capabilities with existing technology infrastructure, I find it quite stable and easy to use, though I notice it hasn't changed as quickly as some other tools.

I find Blue Prism's integration capabilities straightforward and smooth, as it was pioneered in robotic automation with a user-friendly interface. Although the pace of evolution has been slower in technology revisions compared to others, it is a thoughtfully created tool with good adaptability.

The metrics to measure efficiency and accuracy from the software robots are more business-centric, focusing on whether business goals are achieved, rather than being tool-specific as tool comparisons require working on the same use case, which is rare.

Blue Prism's compliance with high security standards, including PCI DSS from its inception, has aided my organization in maintaining data security and meeting regulatory requirements effectively, evolving with time to enhance password storage and encryption measures.

I recommend organizations consider Blue Prism for RPA implementations due to its clear component-based expense picture compared to other vendors who may have hidden costs, advising a detailed review upfront.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Blue Prism a 9.

I primarily use Blue Prism in my organization's process automation after having already assisted in UiPath. Before, in October, we moved to UiPath. Blue Prism was used for automation and process automation.

The most beneficial features of Blue Prism for our automation needs include using both thick clients and thin clients in our organization. We are a global automation team that identifies whatever business process and automates it through Blue Prism. All features, such as PDF automation, web applications, window applications, mainframe applications, Excel, and Outlook, are being used for automation.

One thing I definitely did not like about Blue Prism was the challenge regarding unstructured data related to some applications or some PDFs. We were facing some issues with that.

The issue we encountered was that we were not able to spy the element from the unstructured data. We were getting data, but one hundred percent accuracy was not present.

I have been using Blue Prism in my organization for five years.

I would rate the stability of Blue Prism as definitely ten. There is no doubt about it.

I rate the scalability of Blue Prism as nine or ten. My experience with both tools, UiPath and Blue Prism, over almost ten years in RPA shows that I am fine with both tools. I have worked five years in Blue Prism and almost four in UiPath, so I do not think there are issues from my perspective. Blue Prism is a good tool.

I would rate the support of Blue Prism as a ten. Whenever I faced a challenge, I could get immediate support depending on the issue. We can access support from the portal immediately, which is a good aspect.

As for previous vendors or alternative solutions for Blue Prism, I have been trained in Automation Anywhere, but I am not trained in any others. In some cases where we faced issues with Blue Prism, the management decided to move to UiPath. We automated almost five or six processes through Blue Prism in a banking environment, but we noticed thick client automation issues leading to that decision. We have only used Blue Prism and UiPath, not Automation Anywhere or any other vendor.

For me, it is very easy to install Blue Prism as nothing is complex. The installation of Blue Prism took us a few hours, approximately one day. It was about two to three hours in total.

Previously, I was installing Blue Prism myself with six to seven members in my team. We were installing it ourselves. As of now, we have a special team member who is installing everything. Before he started last year, everybody, including the developer and team lead, was aware of how to install Blue Prism. The position of the special team member installing Blue Prism is basically an engineer.

Regarding return on investment while using Blue Prism, I can say that it has a positive point related to security. I work with multiple banking domains, and everyone in the banking sector always suggests using Blue Prism. In Blue Prism, there are multiple security benefits compared to other tools. Features such as decryption and encryption in the control room of Blue Prism definitely add value.

If I rate the satisfaction with Blue Prism licensing cost from one to ten, I can mention eight to nine for satisfaction because I did not receive any feedback from the business or clients saying they were unhappy with Blue Prism license cost. They are happy with it. I am not aware of any extra expenses apart from the standard licensing fee. I did not face anything regarding premium support or other costs. There are no extra expenses from my perspective.

Recently, regarding Blue Prism AI, I am not sure what features are available because I have just moved to UiPath, which has agentic automation features added. Depending on the licensing in UiPath, you can explore features related to automation and GenAI, which is a good aspect in UiPath.

If we are talking about how Blue Prism has impacted the accuracy and speed of data processing in my tasks compared to UiPath, it is better than UiPath. There is no doubt about it. I will definitely recommend Blue Prism to other users and companies because, as I mentioned, when comparing UiPath and Blue Prism, I find that UiPath offers multiple online training opportunities. Compared to Blue Prism, I see that all the training materials, small videos, and diplomas are more readily available in UiPath, but I do not think everything is as accessible in Blue Prism. My overall rating for Blue Prism is ten out of ten because I worked almost five years in Blue Prism and my experience has been good.

I have used Blue Prism Digital Workforce for automating repetitive and rule-based processes.

There are a lot of features in Blue Prism that I find most valuable, not only one feature. The document extraction feature, Decipher, is also working well recently.

The compliance of Blue Prism with high security standards has not helped my organization much in maintaining data security and meeting regulatory requirements, as we do not have such features in our Blue Prism application, specifically the backup and retrieve mechanism.

In my opinion, Blue Prism can be improved by leveraging current existing technological improvements. We are still in an old stage of application and need to change the application interface as well as the communication interface such as agent and server communication, and client and server communications.

Additionally, on the orchestration side, concerning the logs, bulk level monitoring of all logs is not possible. Only each bot level logs are possible, which will not help when maintaining one hundred plus or two hundred plus bots.

To make Blue Prism better, I would like to see additional features such as document extraction being involved in the product rather than working with other vendors. If this feature can be leveraged inside the current tool, then Blue Prism can become an industry leader, alongside improvements in log management and bulk centralized control to perform bulk activities on the administration level.

I have been working with Blue Prism for three years.

I would rate the technical support by Blue Prism as eight out of ten, with both products being comparable, but Blue Prism takes more time to respond.

I worked with Automation Anywhere before Blue Prism.

I have seen that it is taking almost more than one or two years to see a return on investment. Return on investment for any product or process should be decreased if you are resuming with it.

The price of Blue Prism is costly, but I believe the quality should increase.

If we compare these two products, I think Blue Prism has a specific industry focus while Automation Anywhere has a specific industry too. However, now Automation Anywhere is leveraging the Blue Prism industry as well, so Blue Prism is getting backward. We need to upgrade ourselves and improve.

Automation Anywhere has advantages over Blue Prism such as bulk management, backup management, and version control. It can be integrated with other vaults such as CyberArk vault, and directly manage bot and password management easily. Additional features are involved in Automation Anywhere, including a centralized dashboard and bulk management of devices, upgrades, and packages. Here in Blue Prism, the orchestration is done on an individual bot level.

Currently, I am working with three tools: Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate.

I have not utilized Blue Prism AI-infused functionalities in my automation projects.

I assess the impact of Blue Prism's ability to integrate with existing technology infrastructures as a seven. Blue Prism has been integrated with both on-premises and Azure cloud technology infrastructures.

I use execution time and monitoring mechanism as metrics to measure the efficiency improvements achieved by the software robots.

One of our teams is using Blue Prism Process Management, so our team is using it.

We are not involved in using other Automation Anywhere products such as BotFarm, Automator AI, or Process Discovery, because our team has not approved those tools.

I have given this review an overall rating of seven out of ten.

I can answer questions about Blue Prism. We use Blue Prism's Digital Workforce for automating repetitive and rule-based processes, and we have recently introduced Blue Prism Hub, so we are managing everything from Hub itself.

The features I find most valuable in Blue Prism are the security features and the process flow that is very well designed. When we use work queues, it runs perfectly, unlike Automation Anywhere or UiPath, and the security feature is much better than UiPath and Automation Anywhere.

I assess the impact of Blue Prism's ability to integrate with existing technology infrastructures as quite easy and much faster than other technologies because nothing major needs to be changed. Everything is in security, and at the technology level, there are no major changes or impact to switching or integrating with any current tools and infrastructure.

The efficiency actually depends entirely on the work queues and work items that we have and the process time that a manual user takes compared to what Blue Prism is taking. We create and generate a report via Blue Prism itself to measure the efficiency, and it is far better than UiPath because previously we used UiPath as well.

Blue Prism's compliance with high-security standards has helped my organization greatly. While using Blue Prism, we conduct regular database integrity checks and other security checks, and we are compliant with all the security standards that our company has decided for the tool, so we are meeting all security standards.

The only issue I have found in Blue Prism is an archiving issue once you have a huge database size, so the archiving is quite slow on Blue Prism's side.

Regarding Blue Prism, based on my current issues with the archiving side, it needs to be improved because manual archiving is not feasible for a larger structure for the account. If we increase or improve the efficiency of archiving while running the production environment with a huge database size, that would be much more helpful for managing the state and the performance.

I have been working with Blue Prism for more than seven or eight years, almost nine years.

I would rate the technical support by Blue Prism as ten out of ten because we have dedicated support for Blue Prism, so there are no major issues when contacting Blue Prism or getting any support. They are quick in responding, and even if we request a callback, the turnaround time from them is quite good.

With UiPath, we conducted proof of concept work, but it was not fully utilized because we were planning to switch from Blue Prism. We did a proof of concept on UiPath and Automation Anywhere, but we found Blue Prism better than both UiPath and Automation Anywhere.

I find the pricing of Blue Prism reasonable and acceptable.

Currently, we are switching to Blue Prism with AI and AWS, so previously we were not using it, but we have started now. There is nothing major that I would add or improve. I would rate this review nine point five out of ten.

The main use cases for Blue Prism in my environment are a mixture of everything. Primarily, it started with finance, then HR, operations, logistics, and a few other areas.

I have utilized Blue Prism's AI-infused functionalities in my automation projects, which have opened up more use cases for us in general.

I would assess the impact of Blue Prism's ability to integrate with existing technology infrastructures in my business processes as very good. They have capabilities that work with every legacy application we have as well as our modern applications. They also have a product called Chorus, which is their BPM product, allowing integrations to many new things that weren't possible before. It can retrieve from emails or different types of communications, plus many new extra layers of orchestration, which has opened up significant new use cases and more end-to-end process automation and orchestration.

I have been using Blue Prism's digital workforce for automating repetitive and rule-based processes from day one.

I find Blue Prism features such as their smart vision capability quite advanced in general. The ability to scale quickly is also valuable, and their support is good in general. The way you build automations and put them into production is relatively smooth and easy.

There is nothing really to improve about Blue Prism. Where they are going and what they are doing is more practical compared to competitors. They introduced something called the enterprise operating model, which has been quite good, considering everyone is moving towards AI now. While everyone else jumped on new AI features, these guys rolled out and pulled back on adopting AI.

I would like to see the interface of Blue Prism refreshed.

I have been using Blue Prism.

There weren't any challenges or complexities installing Blue Prism. The challenges were on our side rather than Blue Prism.

It works flawlessly, and I do not face any performance drops or crashes.

Blue Prism is a scalable product.

I have communicated with Blue Prism technical support, and they are helpful. We use their support now and then as we have a very stable operation at the moment. Their communication is quite good; for urgent queries, they always answer in less than an hour.

If we need to learn something about fixing a problem, improving a solution structure, they have something called knowledge management hours, where we can tap into their expertise to improve our processes or find different ways to build our solutions. They are always super helpful, and their team has helped us scale quite quickly while following best practices and governance.

I would rate the support of Blue Prism a 10.

Before choosing Blue Prism, I evaluated options such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft. Microsoft is at the bottom of the list for us regarding capabilities, pricing, and everything else. Parts of the business have worked with other platforms and vendors before Blue Prism including UiPath and Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft Anywhere. We have tried all these different tools, and Blue Prism was the clear winner for us.

The cloud version installation required a couple of hours.

Blue Prism helps to reduce costs. We paid back within less than six months, and our cost for Blue Prism hasn't changed for the last 10 years. It has been amazing, and they have rolled out new capabilities that we have not had to pay for.

We have utilized much of the functionality they offer. When we were trying other competitors, if you want to use IDP or any capabilities, you have to pay extra. With Blue Prism, it has always been included, so we have never had to pay anything extra. They don't charge per user or per environment, so you get everything you need included at one fixed cost, making it easy to know what it is going to cost on an extra new. I am not expecting any surprises.

Parts of the business have worked with other platforms and vendors before Blue Prism including UiPath and Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft Anywhere. We have tried all these different tools, and Blue Prism was the clear winner for us. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Blue Prism a 10.

We use the solution for internet applications based out of the banking and insurance sectors. 

We find many of Blue Prism's features valuable. One recent one we're using is Decipher IDP. We're also looking at a couple of other tools and working on proofs of concept. Decipher IDP helps us create templates to extract data from images and PDF files, which is especially useful for processing invoices accurately and feeding that information into our systems.

Overall, the tool is easy to use and learn. When there are upgrades or complications, we can migrate quickly. The development time is shorter, which makes things easier and keeps our customers happy with the results. So far, Blue Prism has quickly adapted to our business requirements. We haven't run into major complexities yet - everything has been successful.

We've found some challenges with Blue Prism, particularly when interacting with certain applications. The element inspection feature could be improved, especially for more complex applications.

I have been using the product for eight years. 

I rate the product's stability an eight out of ten. 

I rate the solution's scalability an eight out of ten. 

We follow the instructions in the portal manual, which makes it easier. I rate the deployment ease as seven out of ten. It's not a perfect ten because we sometimes face system issues. While the setup steps are fine, we often need system updates and upgrades for a smooth installation.

The tool is expensive. 

I rate the overall product an eight out of ten. 

We are using Blue Prism primarily for reconciliation use cases. Any task related to reconciliation is suitable for Blue Prism.

In some cases, Blue Prism has helped save time, improving workflow efficiency.

The main automation feature of Blue Prism is the most valuable. However, I feel that Blue Prism does not effectively market their other products, which could enhance the use of the primary automation tool.

There is a need for a co-management product to manage multiple developers using Blue Prism. Features like version control and supporting multiple developers at the same time should be improved. 

Furthermore, Blue Prism should invest in marketing their other products. I also find it concerning that they require purchasing support calls.

I have been working with Blue Prism for about four years.

We haven't truly tested its scalability due to low transaction volume, so it remains unknown at this stage.

Blue Prism, as a company, provides excellent support. However, I dislike the necessity to purchase support calls separately.

Prior to Blue Prism, we considered solutions like Automation Anywhere. It seems the market is moving beyond RPA, making it hard to justify further investment in RPA when newer tools offer more capabilities.

We haven't truly seen a return on investment since we lack sufficient transaction volume.

Blue Prism's pricing is on the higher side, especially since newer technologies have surfaced, yet their prices haven't decreased.

We evaluated other RPA tools like Automation Anywhere.

Blue Prism is versatile and best suited for specific use cases. If it fits the use case, I would recommend it. I rate Blue Prism a seven out of ten overall.

There are a few cases where we get invoices. For example, we get invoices in PDF format, so we have to go through that particular version and capture a few fields; for that, I use ABBYY; once that field is captured, I export that data to a CSV or Excel file. ABBYY will be input into a network drive; from there, our BP processors will process it. 

The advantage of the solution is the automation we can do with the solution. We are saving a few dollars by automating tasks that we used to complete manually by allocating two or three resources in front of the system. Also, by automating, the margin of error becomes very low. The security feature of the solution is also quite good. 

Blue Prism provides both on-premises and cloud versions. We are quite happy with the Blue Prism solution. 

I don't think we can do the reporting and documentation in Blue Prism without using any third-party tool. I don't think the kind of reporting features that Power BI and Tableau provide are available in Blue Prism. 

Blue Prism is mainly for process automation and not reporting, but maybe they can add a reporting feature. 

I have been using Blue Prism for three and a half years. 

The solution is stable, and we have no concerns so far. 

If a user has a distributed architecture, then scalability is very good. The solution can be scaled within a few days; the user doesn't have to wait for months. Around fifteen people in our organization are using Blue Prism. 

I would rate the technical support a ten out of ten.

The deployment and migration process of the solution is very easy. Users won't find any complexity while migrating from one version to another version, and upgradation is quite easy to do. The installation and configuration don't take much time, but we had to move Blue Prism hosting from AWS to Azure, which consisted of hundreds of processes, and took four to six months to move from Blue Prism 6.4 to 6.10. 

But we didn't witness any kind of complexity, and whenever a user gets stuck, they can reach out to the Blue Prism team; they are always there to help the user. For installation and deployment, we have two senior members with ten to twelve years of experience who take care of the platform or server tasks. If there is any issue, they will look into it.

The work process we have set using this solution is very easy, and we can connect to the support team to overcome an issue. Maintenance of the solution is not difficult; if you have one or two people to look into the server and platform, then they can maintain a hundred processes in the environment. You don't need five to six people to maintain and run a hundred processes. We have integrated Blue Prism with Decipher and Ultima IA-Connect.

We have got good ROI by implementing Blue Prism in our organization. By implementing over a hundred processes, we have saved around half a million dollars per year. 

To my knowledge, we get the license on a yearly basis. 

We tried to use Automation Anywhere, but we didn't find the solution to be so good. We also tried Power Automate, and Blue Prism is better in comparison. Blue Prism is not that complex or difficult, anybody can learn it. 

Nowadays, nobody is willing to do custom coding; in Blue Prism also, we can inject any kind of C Sharp code and Python code as well. So, it is better to ignore those things and automate processes with more drag-and-drop features.

By skipping the coding part, it will be easier for other people, like senior members who don't have a coding background, to learn about the solution and find it interesting. I would rate Blue Prism a nine out of ten. 

I use the solution in my company mainly for SAP reports automation. It is used to automate reports on a weekly and monthly basis. The tool is also useful for work order management.

My company uses some of the knowledge skills from Blue Prism.

The most effective feature of the product revolves around the area of application designer with which a user can interact with most of the different applications. SAP, Excel, and the web are all areas that one can easily integrate into Blue Prism.

The product's scalability feature's flexible nature has had an impact on our customer's business processes. My company initially started with three robots, but now, we are at eleven. The product offers flexibility, and it is possible to increase its use easily.

Blue Prism as a product is very good, but it doesn't have additional features, like UiPath, which offers features in areas like attended and unattended automation. Blue Prism doesn't have an attended automation feature. The tour also doesn't offer features that can help in areas like document understanding and PDF reading. Though Blue Prism has now come up with features like decipher and computer vision, it is still not able to address most of the issues, making it an area of concern where improvements are required.

From an improvement perspective, I believe that Blue Prism needs to have more skilled people in its support team who can address the issues of users immediately.

I have been using Blue Prism for five years. My company has a partnership with Blue Prism.

It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

The product is mainly used in the utility sector.

My company deals with enterprise-sized customers who use the product.

The product's customer support is responsive, but they take a lot of time. My company is in India, while most of the clients of Blue Prism are in the US, which is why the solution provides different support teams for different areas. The product's support team took a lot of time to provide a resolution for a couple of issues related to the tool, even though different teams from the UK and the US were involved in the process of helping my company. Sometimes, people are required on the field to offer support services.

I rate the support team a seven out of ten.

The product's initial setup phase is not very easy. I rate the initial setup phase a seven scale of one to ten, where ten means the tool offered a very setup process. The setup process can be managed by an expert.

The solution is deployed on an on-premises model.

The solution can be deployed within two to three weeks.

Though the product provides a lot of documents, my company still needs support from Blue Prism's end to deal with the installation process. As there were many issues with the product, my company recently upgraded it from Blue Prism 6.8 to Blue Prism version 7. My company requires help from Blue Prism's vendor to deal with the installation process of the product.

Within a span of three years of use, my company has experienced an ROI of 500 percent. The automation part of the tool has helped the customers a lot.

All RPA tools are expensive in general. To use Blue Prism, there is a need to pay INR 15,000 per customer. I believe that the partner will get some margin from the amount paid by the users to Blue Prism. There are no additional costs apart from the licensing charges attached to the product. The costs for support are included in the amount of INR 15,000 paid for each digital worker who uses the product.

My company's customers automate repetitive tasks with Blue Prism, including BW analysis, data extraction, and posting of the data in SAP. Blue Prism helps automate areas where manual work is involved.

Speaking about the emerging trends in RPA, I feel Blue Prism is coming up with new things. Blue Prism is also getting some third-party APIs for which there is a need for some extra charges to be paid by the customer while ensuring that it has to be kept in Blue Prism Digital Exchange properly. Blue Prism should offer additional support so that, as end customers, my company can utilize the new applications introduced by the solution.

I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

As integrators, we specialize in developing solutions on various platforms, with a focus on WorkFusion, UIPath, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere. Additionally, we have developed our own RPA solution.

To clarify, we don't handle the deployment process. Typically, the environment is already set up by the time we arrive. Our role is to automate the business processes.

I believe the situation with our client is quite complicated. They were attempting to upgrade from version 6.7 to 6.10 but encountered various challenges during testing. 

Although we made migration efforts, other teams faced issues, and the upgrade had to be postponed. 

Currently, the production version remains at 6.7 or 6.6, while the development version is at 6.7.

Blue Prism is primarily used for invoice and document processing. 

We use a basic capture function within the platform to extract information from various types of documents, including PDFs. 

If the documents are consistent, we can work with them efficiently.

It's hard to make a definitive statement as we work with the tools available to us. While I haven't had much exposure to the latest version of WorkFusion, I've heard good things about it. 

I switched from another RPA platform to Blue Prism, and I personally appreciate the way they handle queues and their overall approach.

Blue Prism is a typical RPA platform that uses a low-code approach with its own strengths and weaknesses. I don't have any specific details to share about Blue Prism at the moment.

I find Blue Prism's debugging functionality to be quite useful.

The tasks we use it for performed well, although there may be some minor issues with the 6.10 version. However, like every software, it is possible for it to have its own shortcomings that will eventually be addressed.

In our business processes, we encountered an issue with a selector that stopped working, but we were able to create a workaround for it since it was only affecting one selector in one area. I don't think it's fair to place all the blame on Blue Prism because the application we were automating was heavily reliant on JavaScript, which caused difficulties in building the user interface. 

In my opinion, every platform would have faced similar challenges when automating such an application. However, we were able to resolve the issue and move forward with upgrading the system.

I am not aware of any problems that other teams may have encountered, so I can't say for sure. I can't immediately think of any specific features either. I would need to take some time to consider it and discuss it with our team before making any definitive statements.

I have experience working with Blue Prism as a developer and have obtained certification as a developer. As such, I am quite familiar with the platform.

I have been working with Blue Prism for two and a half years.

Occasionally, there may be stability issues where certain nodes begin to behave erratically and produce errors. 

However, this is typically resolved by restarting the nodes. While I am not personally involved in monitoring and addressing such issues, we have had this problem before and have even developed monitoring tools to detect these issues early and automatically restart nodes when necessary.

I would not say that this issue happens very often, I would rate the stability a seven or eight out of ten.

If the servers are stable then it's an issue with the nodes, which has a workaround.

In terms of scalability, I think that Blue Prism has the capability to work with a sufficient number of robots, which should be adequate for most enterprises. I haven't encountered any issues with scalability, although we have worked with organizations that have a varying number of robots, ranging from seven to twenty-one. While twenty-one might be considered a medium to large-sized organization, I don't believe that it's necessarily a small number in this context.

Scalability is good, I would rate the scalability of Blue Prism a nine out of ten.

In our organization, we don't use Blue Prism for automation. Instead, we assist other organizations with their automation needs. 

We have a team of about ten developers, which includes DevOps and other personnel who work on automation projects.

Our clients typically range from medium-sized to enterprise-level businesses. It's rare for us to work with small clients as it can be challenging to find tasks that are financially feasible to automate due to the initial investment required for setting up the robots. However, I cannot say that small clients wouldn't need RPA.

We have never needed assistance from technical support.

Previously, we worked with WorkFusion.

If we compare Blue Prism and WorkFusion, Blue Prism is typically considered a low-code platform, while WorkFusion is a coding platform. However, it's worth noting that both platforms offer varying degrees of low-code and coding capabilities, and the exact level of coding required will depend on the specific use case and implementation.

Although you can program in Java or a specific XML-like language, it still involves writing code. I wouldn't say that this is a bad thing. 

As a developer myself, I actually prefer writing code. When using Blue Prism, I often find myself having to rearrange blocks in order to create more space for additional blocks I need to add. However, if you're writing code, you don't have to worry about that issue.

Perhaps for an average business user, Blue Prism would be easier to learn. However, Blue Prism requires more planning and preparation compared to Automation Anywhere before starting to code. It's more similar to regular development rather than ad-hoc development.

To give an example, in Automation Anywhere, you could start developing a robot without any prior planning in the tool. You could simply throw in 10 or 12 blocks, and that would do the job. It would be a simple robot. However, with Blue Prism, you need to do some planning and preparation before you start coding. 

It's more like regular development, unlike Automation Anywhere which is more like at-home development. Blue Prism may be easier for business users to work with as it has a more visual system, whereas WorkFusion is more code-based and deployable. 

I stopped working with WorkFusion about three years ago, so my information may be obsolete.

I was not involved in the initial setup process. It was actually done by our dev ops team for one of our clients, and from what I know, there were no issues. They were able to successfully set up the environment and get it running without any problems.

I would rate the initial setup a six out of ten.

I was not involved in the deployment.

I am unable to compare pricing because I usually do not have access to the information.

In some cases, the client already has licenses and we assist them in installing the environment, while in other cases, they already have both the licenses and the environment set up.

Blue Prism provides a comprehensive set of resources, including a university with numerous courses, to help users develop their skills. 

The courses are very clear and provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the platform. 

With these resources, one can learn Blue Prism on their own without any external assistance.

I would rate Blue Prism a nine out of ten.

Blue Prism is a great enterprise platform. Although it started with version six which had many user interaction tools, I recently read about new features that allow for interaction between robots and users to complete tasks. Overall, I think Blue Prism is a reliable platform for enterprises.
