The use cases for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence vary depending on the industry, and recently, I have worked on a wholesale returns use case.

The most useful features in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence include the out-of-the-box connectors to SAP, which are quick and nice. There are a few out-of-the-box apps as that reduced overall go-to-market time, making it beneficial. SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is just one of the modules of SAP Signavio, and there are approximately four to five modules that are interconnected, giving us a 360-degree view of your organization's digital twin, which is really helpful.

The interconnectedness of the SAP Signavio Process Intelligence module with the other modules is very nice, and it provides insights into them as well.

The collaborative tools within SAP Signavio Process Intelligence are very helpful as all the different modules are interconnected. If your process is within SAP, then SAP Signavio is also very cost-efficient for you.

Process visualization within SAP Signavio Process Intelligence helps to make data-driven decisions, and that would be a basic expectation from a process intelligence tool. Process mining is something that is basic for every process intelligence tool.

It is effective in real-time, although there are a few shortcomings. For example, in SAP Signavio, if you have two or three systems through which your process is flowing and it creates a multi-event log, that is where SAP Signavio has its shortcoming as it doesn't support multi-event logs.

The seamless connection with various data sources impacts the ability to generate accurate and actionable insights, especially if it is SAP as your source system, making it pretty easy. However, if it goes beyond SAP, that is when it becomes difficult and ineffective with respect to cost. For example, we recently did an analysis in which we were almost going to pay 10 times the cost of a normal process mining tool if we used SAP Signavio. What they are doing is counting the number of records and processes dealt with, which may not accurately reflect your data. This issue particularly arises when your data is lean, as the number of records can become inflated, leading to expensive charges that are not recommended for non-SAP tools, especially for real-time data streams.

The license structure of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence should be improved for the next release. For example, charging by the number of records becomes inefficient, particularly for systems where comments may be numerous and irrelevant to the actual usage of the data.

Regarding stability, there are no complaints as it is very stable. I would rate stability at nine or ten because we have not encountered any stability issues yet.

The scalability for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is very restricted, primarily because of how it is structured. Due to its inability to support multi-event logs, I have to re-extract data even if it already exists, leading to duplication. It's not really scalability friendly compared to other tools. For scalability, it deserves a rating of six.

The technical support for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence can get complex because the portal is the same for SAP Signavio and all the SAP products, which makes raising a ticket confusing. One must exactly know what they are raising a ticket for to proceed effectively.

Ideally, there should be separate support for different modules, particularly for organizations using several different SAP products. If someone wants to raise a ticket for SAP Signavio, they have to log into a specific portal, which can be cumbersome.

A better way of handling tickets would be an improvement, and the support deserves a rating of six out of ten.

The setup for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is straightforward if you have SAP as your source system; however, if it is not SAP, then it becomes very challenging. The setup deserves a rating of 6.5 out of 10.

Some customers definitely see a return on investment with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. In a few cases, they got a 360 view of their enterprise and were able to improve their processes significantly.

The setup cost for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence depends on what kind of process you are looking for. If it is an SAP process, it becomes a little cheaper, but if it is a non-SAP process, then it becomes highly expensive and not recommended for medium-sized organizations. It could be used by very large organizations with the necessary budget.

My customers are mainly using a cloud deployment model. SAP Signavio itself provides the cloud, so we don't have to host it ourselves, which simplifies the use of cloud providers.

The process visualization feature within SAP Signavio Process Intelligence would be the beginning of any project, and after that, how do we build on top of it? It involves having a clear vision of the process or project, and what you want to do with the data you have analyzed. Once you have your vision cleared, there are plenty of widgets and charts available to visualize and arrive at the kind of results that you want.

The collaborative tools help to bridge the gap between different departments and stakeholders. The commenting features allow users to tag others and subscribe to insights, making it very helpful, particularly the collaboration hub.

I am not familiar with the simulation feature of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, but I know there is process simulation in the process manager.

The biggest benefit of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence could be reaped from customers that are heavily invested in SAP. If your ERP is SAP, then SAP Signavio could be your go-to tool for process mining; otherwise, try alternatives.

I recommend SAP Signavio Process Intelligence to organizations whose source system is SAP; otherwise, it is not recommended. It is specifically beneficial for large-scale enterprises, not suitable for medium or small-scale enterprises. Overall rating: 7 out of 10.

We have various different use cases at the moment. The reason we use SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is because it cuts down on workshop time for capturing process and assists us with process simulation and best practice.

We use some of the integration capabilities of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and SAP accelerators, depending on what the use case is. Sometimes the quality of accelerators is really good, and other times it's not as strong. It really depends on what we're doing and whether there's strong business logic underneath it, as there is in the finance and HR space, but not so much in our industry in the content production space.

It's about understanding the ways of working with process investigations. It's not just doing it once and then starting to build a store of process information. The question is whether you're going to be doing trend work on those processes for continuous improvement or whether it's a one-off to find pain points. There are different use cases for how you use Process Intelligence itself.

I have been dealing with Process Intelligence alongside SAP Signavio Process Intelligence.

The speed at which you can get to a basic process model is one of the best features of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, and from there, being able to have a common discussion point with various delivery teams about process improvements and pain points for further investigation.

The real-time process visualization feature of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence has been really useful to get that first draft, that first picture that starts more detailed analysis and specific task areas. I would assess SAP Signavio Process Intelligence as being very good in identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.

What I would improve in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is the speed at which we can connect different data sources to it, and also understanding more around when a record is truly a record, because it can use up capacity very quickly. I think there could be more done around the housekeeping elements.

I would enhance the UI for the collaboration hub in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. I would prefer different ways to engage with the process models than just commenting, such as being able to approve them and similar functionalities.

It depends on the size of the company, because you want to make sure you're buying the right product for the scale of how many processes you're going to be modeling.

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence would be more suitable for bigger organizations, specifically mid to large. For smaller organizations, it would be quite costly.

My experience with their technical support has been really good. Whenever we've needed them, they're there, logging cases and providing effective updates on the cases. Sometimes they notify us there's been a problem with the system, but it's rectified before we even notice there's an issue.

It was straightforward for me, very much so. This was before it was SAP, quite a while back.

I decided to switch to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence because we needed something more intelligent, and we wanted to introduce standards to the process models.

We think our current solution, SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, is the best option on the market at the moment, but that's not to say that won't change in the future.

We would recommend SAP Signavio Process Intelligence to other organizations.

I would be interested to see in the next release of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence how the AI elements are going to improve process capture.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate SAP Signavio Process Intelligence a nine.

We are utilizing SAP Signavio Process Intelligence for our process improvement needs after moving from Celonis, as we just started our journey with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. Other than that, we have SAP ERPs, but I'm not working on it so I'm not the correct person to write a review on those things.

The connectivity with SAP systems is quite seamless, as it is an SAP product. There aren't many hassles, but when it comes to non-SAP systems, we are still in the process of getting approvals and setting up connections, so it's too soon to comment.

We are just starting with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, so it's difficult for me to comment at this level because we have just begun our journey. We might have approximately 100 plus users, minimum.

The best feature of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is that it is not just Process Intelligence; it's a complete suite that comes with insights and mapping.

Regarding stability, I haven't faced any issues so far. To be very honest, I haven't faced any bugs, glitches, or errors as of now.

Since we just started with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, there are a few hurdles which I have personally felt as a user. There is not good documentation available even on the internet, especially from an e-learning perspective. If a non-technical user has to learn SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, it's difficult because their learning journey is not very easy to understand. It would be helpful if they have their e-learning content segregated for different roles—for example, training specific to business users, training for leads, and training for consultants and analysts who are going to work on the tool as developers.

I personally found that when we were doing the proof of value, the Process Intelligence modules' AI is not as mature as other Process Mining tools in the competition. They can work on their user interface as well.

Regarding the real-time process visualization feature, I haven't seen that yet. It's too early to comment as we just started with the platform setups and process insights, so I haven't seen the real-time application for data retrieval.

We have been using SAP Signavio Process Intelligence for approximately one month, as we just signed the contract one month back. Before that, we worked with the team for a proof of value.

Before SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, I was working on Celonis. I loved their UI. It was more user-friendly, and from the training perspective, the training was quite descriptive and good.

It was more of a company's decision that led to my switch to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. I was working in the same organization, and they chose to proceed with a different tool for their own reasons. We did proof of value with both tools, and they felt that SAP Signavio Process Intelligence would be better for us as we wanted to proceed with a complete suite while also considering that we are using SAP. If you ask from the Process Mining perspective, Celonis is better.

I am not very much involved in the pricing of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, but they are almost the same as other similar tools.

Comparing SAP Signavio Process Intelligence with other solutions depends on which tool you are comparing it to. If you are comparing it with Celonis, which is already top in the market, their UI is excellent, so there isn't much comparison. When comparing it with other tools, for example, Microsoft or others, it might be different. It totally depends on which tool you are actually comparing with.

I have a background in Process Mining, which means starting on the tool is not complicated with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. It has similarities to other Process Mining tools. I haven't found it difficult. However, if someone else from a business perspective has to work on it, I feel it's difficult to navigate.

Based on my experience with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence so far, I would rate it a seven out of ten.

I am currently learning SAP, and I am quite familiar with SAP and have used SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. SAP tools serve as business software. An affiliated company in SAP was part of the Eco model, and currently I am learning SAP S/4HANA. SAP is a good platform to work for business. A major advantage is the integration, as the integration of SAP with other modules is far better than anything I have used until now. I am more inclined towards SAP.

Although they have blockchain technology built into it, I came from India, and here we do not know much about blockchain technology. Blockchain is not that familiar in India, but I believe they should work on their networks and improve their servers because SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is in use more nowadays, resulting in busy servers. They should use their data management solutions, such as HDFS, and they should introduce more blockchain technology into SAP in some regions.

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence has an upper hand compared to other solutions because the integration from other software is far better in SAP. The major advantage is the integration of data.

I have never needed technical support from SAP until now, so I cannot judge, but I have seen other cases. I would give it a seven.

I have used SAP Signavio Process Intelligence frequently for the past year.

We use the solution to find opportunities for customer satisfaction within customer support with the help of process mining. 

I like the tool's ability to visualize the entire process flow, how the process flow flows, and what deviations happen from the process flow. It also helps to figure out the process bottlenecks. 

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence slows down when you feed a lot of data. It needs to improve its processing ability. The tool should also incorporate AI features that can automate things. Many of the competitors have this feature. 

I have been working with the solution for four years. 

I rate SAP Signavio Process Intelligence's stability a nine out of ten. 

I rate the tool's scalability a seven out of ten. My company has 300 users for it.

I rate SAP Signavio Process Intelligence's deployment an eight point five out of ten. It took two weeks to deploy the product. Deployment depends on connecting your data with the tool's cloud system. We have a hybrid cloud where some data gets uploaded manually and others directly. Much effort goes into connecting your data warehousing system with the tool's cloud system. 

The solution is expensive, and I rate it an eight out of ten. 

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is a decent enterprise solution. I rate it an eight out of ten. 

Predominantly, it enables financial services organizations to build up process knowledge and improve operational efficiency.

The most valuable features are Process Manager and Process Governance functionalities.

The area that could be improved in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is its Journey modeling feature.

We have used it for the last six years.

While occasional outages may occur, they are typically resolved quickly and easily, and the system remains up and running efficiently. I would rate it eight out of ten.

It is a scalable solution.

It is really good, but we never had a reason to contact their support team.

The deployment process is quite efficient. Within a day or two of receiving an email link to the server, users can set up their username and password and seamlessly access the platform. Later configuration requirements are based on the specific client's need, which typically takes from one to five days, depending on complexity.

It is a fairly expensive solution. I would rate it six out of ten.

It is considered one of the best integrated process solutions available. It encompasses a comprehensive range of features, including process mining, process modeling, and customer Journey modeling. I would rate it nine out of ten.

I've worked on process insights where we plug and play with the SAP landscape of the client. We use the artificial intelligence capabilities of Signavio to gain insights into different KPIs for various business processes, end-to-end processes, and lines of business. 

These KPIs are predefined based on the industry domain, whether it's related to oil and natural gas, healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, etc. So, based on their industry, there are predefined KPIs in the process insights with industry benchmarks.

I've been working on process intelligence for transformation projects. Our client is migrating from the SAP system to SAP HANA. In such a scenario, they want to streamline their processes in S/4HANA by analyzing and optimizing the processes from their existing ECC system using Signavio.

Process Intelligence is essentially process mining and analysis building. We delve deep into the process using Process Insights. Signavio provides predefined KPIs based on the data we input. These KPIs are automatically calculated and displayed in the system. In process intelligence, we conduct in-depth analysis by mining exhaustive data spanning one or two years. 

One of the most valuable things about process intelligence is that it allows you to mine data over a long period of time, such as one or two years. This gives us a deep understanding of how your processes actually work.

We identify bottlenecks in each activity within the process. This involves defining the activities, mapping the happy path, and delineating undesired activities, examining how they flow in the process. The goal is to optimize or standardize the process using Process Intelligence. We establish KPIs to assess the process, and based on that, we take actions to streamline the process.

When it comes to Signavio, as I've worked on Celonis, I've observed two things in Celonis and Signavio. In Celonis, using the process mining tool, we can implement automation skills. So we can take actions to improve the process as well. That is one thing. 

And one more thing is you can do dashboarding using Celonis, which is not possible in Signavio. So, there's not as much access to features in Signavio as we have with Celonis. We may not have any significant features there.

So, these two features could be added: dashboarding and automation skills.

I have been working with this solution for one year. 

It is stable. Perfectly stable. It is an effective product, so it is stable and scalable right now.

It is a scalable product but it is a little difficult.

Our customers are only enterprises. It is a large-scale business.

The customer service and support are absolutely good. However, it might be delayed sometimes.

It is easy to install this solution. Overall, it took around one to two days to deploy. 

I'm the only person working on it. Maintenance depends on the client and the system. For example, for the client in Signavio, it would be easy to maintain, but for other systems, it can be a bit more difficult. 

In those cases, we need the expertise of other system administrators to deploy or maintain the solution.

It's easy to maintain in Signavio. Not like Celonis, where we need data engineers to do that completely. In Signavio, it is not that much needed.

The pricing is expensive. 

I'm working on process mining with Signavio. So earlier, I have experience with Celonis as well.

It is scalable, and it is easy to maintain. Even when compared with others, we have the ultimate feature of the process model engine in Signavio. So, along with process intelligence and process mining, they offer process modeling as well. They are also offering process governance where we can automate workflow editors and other automation. 

When it comes to process insights, process intelligence, and process modeling, Signavio is the right product to provide all these solutions under one roof.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. There are areas of improvement in the solution. There are improvements to be made. Although, they have solutions for those things. For example, Signavio needs to improve its onboarding capability. But when I reached out to Signavio, they suggested we use Fiori apps for dashboarding. So that is also the right solution for them because Signavio is a product of SAP, and Fiori is a product of SAP. This is just the theory only. So then, there is no need for dashboarding capabilities to be built in Signavio.

We use the product for commercial operations and supply chain management.

The product helps us build solid business use cases. We can present them as effective visual diagrams in PPT format.

The product needs improvement for out-of-the-box features. It should be able to convert business workflows into media documents quickly. The process of finding dependencies and flagging them could be better.

They should add the feature of exporting PDFs. There could be AI-related features to integrate multiple tools.

We have been using SAP Signavio Process Intelligence for a year.

We have not encountered downtime for the platform.

The product is scalable.

The product’s knowledge base is equipped with AI features. If you know the buzzwords and the keywords, you will be able to find solutions to queries. The literature points to web pages that may have the necessary information to help you deal with the issues. If the problem is not resolved, you can always open a case.

Our customer used UiPath before. Later, they switched to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence as they wanted an ERP native process mining solution. They decided to move away from UI automation and bring in more workflow-driven automation with a stable system rather than a robotic approach.

The initial setup is based on a native process, as it is already deployed on SAP. We started the deployment with a POC approach. It took us ten weeks to complete. Later, we required another week to set up insurance warranties.

If you already use SAP products as a part of your ERP system, then going for Signavio Process Intelligence makes sense. It would incur a little cost as well. 

There need to be some more improvements from an interface point of view. The process mining should be easier for business analysts and clerical staff working on the machine and using these tools. We shouldn’t be required to spend a lot of time training and scaling for it. Also, they should bring in some API features and new technologies.

I rate SAP Signavio Process Intelligence an eight out of ten.

In my company, we use SAP Signavio Process Intelligence when given certain constant parameters, we can look at how many process transformations it is going to take, what is the cost of operating a particular process, what is the level of lead time, and the quality I will have in my processes. The product can provide me with a high level of intelligence.

Certain areas that provide users with an exact focus on where process transformations can happen are available in Silico but not in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. The aforementioned reason can be considered for improvement.

The product doesn't allow me to focus on a particular value stream and how the value stream performs. I wish the future releases of the product possess the aforementioned capabilities since only Silico has such capabilities right now, while Signavio and Celonis fail to offer Silico's capabilities.

I have been using SAP Signavio Process Intelligence for three to four years. I have certifications in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. I am an end user of the product.

It is a stable solution. It functions and caters to a specific problem, making it holistic in nature.

The tool is scalable to the extent that it can be implemented in another process. Getting insight into the product and understanding what performs depends on the other integrated services.

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence was used as a product during the PoC phase when we gave our customers demos.

At a commercial level, our company tried to get in touch with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence to understand how much of a synergy we can bring in with the product. I did not interact with the solution's technical support since my company used the product under the PoC phase.

The initial setup was simple. One can know how exactly the process performs just by clicking a few buttons.

The deployment process doesn't take much time.

The solution can be deployed on-premises or opt for a subscription model, making it a cloud solution. I find the product to be versatile. The product doesn't offer a holistic view of where to focus on your process better.

Speaking of the personnel needed for deployment and maintenance, I would say that a certain amount of customization might be required because of which one might need junior and senior developers.

Given the right current status of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, we would need an integrator for the product's installation phase. The integrator should be one of the top players who can help us understand exactly where we must focus our transformation efforts and the KPIs to be captured to get the best out of the process and improve.

The costs of the solution require transparency since sometimes it refers to the number of users and sometimes the amount of volume that is used. A certain amount of transparency is required in the consulting world before we recommend the solution to the customers.

I would definitely recommend the solution to those planning to use it.

SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is a tool that benefits SAP's ecosystem. It serves as a process transformation tool within the SAP environment, capable of aiding in system migration tasks. For instance, it can facilitate migration from HCC to HANA, among other functionalities.

It has the ability to create journey maps and connect journey maps to BTMM.

The solution is not very intuitive. It is very complicated to use.

I have been using SAP Signavio Process Intelligence for two years.

I rate the solution’s stability a six out of ten.

The solution is scalable because they have different license modeling. I rate it a fiveout of ten.

SAP tech support is really bad. Most of the time, if you would write a mail, they would respond after two weeks.

The initial setup is complicated.

The solution is expensive but lesser than SolarWinds. It comes with free SAP licenses.

Signavio Process Intelligence is a valuable tool for analyzing processes. While Signavio is a strong choice, some may consider alternatives like SolarWinds, which is more matured in terms of process mining capabilities.

All the solutions to is complaint to compliance and risk management.
