Optimizes business processes, is user-friendly and flexible
The software is user-friendly, flexible, and can be used with various data sources. It provides various reports and charts that help organizations to identify areas for improvement and optimize their processes. ABBYY Timeline is a great choice for business process analysts, process owners, and IT professionals who are looking for a tool to help them analyze and optimize their processes. The process flow/diagram is the most valuable feature, as it offers a helpful visual simulation that allows users to see what's happening in the grand scheme of things and then drill down into specific tasks and processes to see where the bottlenecks are. For those companies that look for the low-hanging fruit in terms of process automation and operational excellence, this is the tool you need to succeed.

Improvement in workshop efficiency and process modeling through timely technical support
I have been dealing with Process Intelligence alongside SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. The speed at which you can get to a basic process model is one of the best features of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, and from there, being able to have a common discussion point with various delivery teams about process improvements and pain points for further investigation. The real-time process visualization feature of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence has been really useful to get that first draft, that first picture that starts more detailed analysis and specific task areas. I would assess SAP Signavio Process Intelligence as being very good in identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.

Pros

"ABBYY Timeline provides various reports and charts that help us identify areas for improvement and optimize our business processes."
"The product's best feature is the connection and integration between all of the capabilities."
"The initial implementation is very straightforward and very easy to set up; it's the easiest product I've worked with on set up, the whole Transformation Suite."
"The best feature of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is that it is not just Process Intelligence; it's a complete suite that comes with insights and mapping."
"The most valuable feature is the integration model."
"Everything is valuable. If you're looking at the process documentation feature, it's really easy to use."
"Everything is valuable. If you're looking at the process documentation feature, it's really easy to use. We have official training from Signavio trainers, but sometimes I do the training myself very shortly for our colleagues. In less than one or two hours, they are already able to model the business process themselves. The language is really easy. The user interface is really easy. If you're talking about process simulation, we have customers and clients internally who are using it a lot, because they are from logistics or operations. They have numbers and KPIs behind the process. They know their numbers, so they have to see how they can improve a given business processes with a change in the task sequence or a change in the numbers of KPIs. If you're talking about the process mining, it is integrated into the whole solution."
"Predominantly, it enables financial services organizations to build up process knowledge and improve operational efficiency."
"The product is relatively user friendly, it does what you need it to do."

Cons

"There are a couple of new features available in Timeline that still need more time to mature."
"The area that could be improved in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is its Journey modeling feature."
"SAP has to figure out a better way to price it. Their licensing structure isn't ideal as it's based on data; therefore, it's hard to estimate client costs."
"SAP Signavio Process Intelligence should improve the usability and features that refer to the integration of business processes and system data."
"What I would improve in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is the speed at which we can connect different data sources to it, and also understanding more around when a record is truly a record, because it can use up capacity very quickly."
"SAP Signavio Process Intelligence is not cheap and has a high cost. They should think about their pricing in countries India and consider adjusting it."
"I personally found that when we were doing the proof of value, the Process Intelligence modules' AI is not as mature as other Process Mining tools in the competition."
"When it comes to Signavio, as I've worked on Celonis, I've observed two things in Celonis and Signavio. In Celonis, using the process mining tool, we can implement automation skills. So we can take actions to improve the process as well. That is one thing."
"The solution is not very intuitive. It is very complicated to use."
