Provides unified access to multiple HR functions and reduces navigation effort
I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Reliable and loaded with features, but the UI is outdated
The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically. When I give a new employee, aged 19 and recently graduated, the solution, they are not enthused to use it on a daily basis. Ramco HCM looks outdated and is not as intuitive as it should be. I want to create an easier experience for new generations who come to work with me, with fewer scrolls, clicks, and pages to navigate. The optimization should be available with the minimum number of clicks. This is why I believe UI/UX is the most important element. I would love to see an intuitive web interface for the app, which would enable each user to easily manage and govern their data.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"In general, functionality is fine."
"Oracle HCM Cloud's workforce analytics has helped me in refining my business strategies."
"The solution has good integration with other applications."
"This solution is valuable because it's robust and very dependable."
"Oracle HCM has a great reporting platform, OTPI, with drag-and-drop functionality. I can design my own reports without relying on the technical team. This empowers HR users to create reports based on their needs, which is a huge advantage."
"As a cloud solution, it's definitely scalable."
"What I like most about Oracle HCM Cloud is that I didn't see any area that needs to be dramatically improved. I also appreciate that it has good integration with other Oracle products. The process of integrating Oracle HCM Cloud is rather explanatory. I also found the Oracle library to be helpful. As Oracle HCM Cloud is quite a robust solution, I like it versus other solutions. I like the people at Oracle."
"Recruitment, talent management, and payroll are the most important features of talent management, especially in the Middle East, where I work. Performance management includes objective settings, performance evaluation, talent review, and succession planning. It also covers goal cascading, setting objectives, performance evaluations, and midyear reviews for performance improvement."
"The performance management system is really good."
"Ramco delivers value for a simple straight out-of-the-box solution."
"In general, the solution is very flexible and can be configured in multiple ways."
"Ramco HCM's performance management system is really good and supports assessments, appraisals, and more."
"Ramco HCM stands out due to its reliability and up-to-date compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements."
"It is a time-saving solution, saving a lot of time for our clients by eliminating manual errors in salary calculations and removing the need for a help desk team through its chatbot that instantly handles employee queries about payslips, leave balance, and holidays."
"Payroll processing is very easy. SQL rules can be attached to any pay elements."
"Once we implemented this solution, it was customizable for our needs and this has been the most valuable aspect of this solution."

Cons

"In some geographies, you might not find specific localizations. For example, here in Turkey, we can use all Oracle Cloud modules except for payroll. The Oracle payroll module isn't localized for the Turkish system. So, we need to integrate a separate, localized payroll solution with Oracle HCM."
"I rate the technical support of Oracle HCM Cloud an eight out of ten. There is some room for improvement."
"The data uploading part and backup could be better. They are a bit complex."
"I think it could use more features, perhaps artificial intelligence, since that's becoming more prominent in the world, and it's not yet implemented in HCM."
"I rate this solution a three out of ten."
"The native mobile application TAP is in great need of improvement."
"From the feedback that I get, the functional side of the payroll could be improved."
"As the product is cloud based, it is a heavily standardized system. There is little or no option to customize business processes, features, or integrate the few exceptional business processes to work with the existing product."
"The one area where I would like to see some improvement would be the mobile app and web page user experience which could be more user friendly."
"They can improve the configuration time because it takes more time than other products to configure the system."
"The talent management and performance appraisal modules could use some improvement."
"It can improve on the Comp Off and On Duty leave management process and can include real time Google Maps instead of geo-tagging to track the real location of employees."
"The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically."
"There were so many bugs in the older releases."
"I would like to see the flexibility to create reports suitable to the company because the standard reports from Ramco are so conservative."
"One area for improvement in Ramco HCM is its UI, which could be more intuitive. Another area for improvement in the system is that it can be challenging to make some modular-based changes to it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product could be more affordable."
"There is a subscription to use this solution, and there can be additional fees."
"Licensing fees are on a yearly basis."
"On average, it's not a cheap solution."
"Though I cannot comment on the solution's cost, a fixed cost is involved based on my understanding. The cost multiplies based on the number of users."
"I am not normally involved in the product's pricing since it normally involves the packages that a user chooses. Pricing differs based on a case-to-case scenario and client-to-client basis."
"The solution is expensive."
"Oracle HCM offers many features at a low price."
"This solution is priced in the middle compared to other solutions on the market."
"I am not aware of the price because I was working in the implementation team, but pricing is generally based on the requirement, modules, headcount, and country."
"Their customized solution is pretty expensive but much cheaper than its competitors."
