Provides unified access to multiple HR functions and reduces navigation effort
I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Reliable and loaded with features, but the UI is outdated
The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically. When I give a new employee, aged 19 and recently graduated, the solution, they are not enthused to use it on a daily basis. Ramco HCM looks outdated and is not as intuitive as it should be. I want to create an easier experience for new generations who come to work with me, with fewer scrolls, clicks, and pages to navigate. The optimization should be available with the minimum number of clicks. This is why I believe UI/UX is the most important element. I would love to see an intuitive web interface for the app, which would enable each user to easily manage and govern their data.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Their technical support is okay; I don't have any problems with the Oracle support part, and they are of great help."
"The solution's scalability potential is very good, and we have more than 1,000 users ourselves."
"I find Oracle HCM Cloud very useful for gathering data or information, with its best benefit being data integration."
"Its integrated modules allow for more seamless business processes."
"The integration capabilities of Oracle HCM Cloud are valuable, particularly its support for managing global HR operations, including absence management, talent management, employee recruitment, and performance evaluations."
"In terms of ERP, it's a good product; it's convenient."
"It has simplified the management of users and roles into a single UI and is a great advance for implementers and system administrators alike."
"HCM Cloud's most valuable feature is its ease of use - it's interlinked, so you can drill down into information."
"Ramco delivers value for a simple straight out-of-the-box solution."
"For anyone in the Middle East, I would strongly recommend this solution over SuccessFactors or Workday as the payroll feature is very much localized for the region and it supports all the business requirements without any additional modification."
"In general, the solution is very flexible and can be configured in multiple ways."
"Ramco HCM is a stable system that doesn't have downtime or fluctuation issues. It can also take large volumes and scale up very fast."
"It is a time-saving solution, saving a lot of time for our clients by eliminating manual errors in salary calculations and removing the need for a help desk team through its chatbot that instantly handles employee queries about payslips, leave balance, and holidays."
"The performance management system is really good."
"Once we implemented this solution, it was customizable for our needs and this has been the most valuable aspect of this solution."
"Ramco is user-friendly. The UA is excellent and so easy to use that a customer can easily understand the process with zero knowledge of the system. We can easily walk a new user through the user guide. For each ESS MSS, I can log in to the ESS access. and documentation is available."

Cons

"The performance and reaction time can be improved."
"It is a cloud solution, so we cannot do much customization. However, if you have a past license, you can do the customization, but unfortunately, we don't have a past license."
"Product integration, particularly with collaboration tools, is lacking in this solution."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"I rate the technical support of Oracle HCM Cloud an eight out of ten. There is some room for improvement."
"I believe what could be improved is the EX portion of Oracle HCM Cloud and how it can more easily integrate with other tools."
"The support from Oracle HCM Cloud is great, they are responsive and helpful. However, they still could improve."
"The data uploading part and backup could be better. They are a bit complex."
"The product itself sometimes feels inconsistent because it comes with bugs."
"The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically."
"The mobile app and web page user experience could be more user friendly."
"They can improve the configuration time because it takes more time than other products to configure the system. It could be because they are managing this single product for all countries, but it would be good if they improve the implementation time because we need to implement the solutions within a timeline. They should provide some kind of auto-configuration so that the system can be configured and implemented within a certain timeline. Implementors should have a provision to configure the system in a short time. There should also be an option to move the setup or configuration from staging to production to save time. These types of automation should be there."
"I would say that there is a lot of room for improvement. They should improve their consistency; the product itself sometimes feels inconsistent because it comes with bugs."
"The talent management and performance appraisal modules could use some improvement."
"Ramco could be a bit faster and offer more use cases. A prime aim is to get analytics and this is lacking in Ramco."
"There were so many bugs in the older releases."

"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
"The price of Oracle HCM Cloud could improve. However, everyone would like the price of a solution they are using to be less expensive."
"The pricing is reasonable."
