Seamless presentation and collaboration enhance organizational productivity
There are three main areas for improvement: Firstly, AI capabilities should be integrated into Microsoft Teams to provide better transcript services and offer multiple language support. Secondly, it should allow participants to remain visible during presentations, enhancing interaction. Lastly, it needs broader integration capabilities with other products, like Salesforce ( /vendors/salesforce ), which is currently limited.

Is excellent for video conferencing, with a very high usage rate
There are a few technical aspects that might need assistance, such as enabling Vidyo inside a web browser as opposed to using it via an SDK in an app. Occasionally, issues can arise when using video conferencing in third-party applications. Feedback from developers could be beneficial for improving these areas.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Teams is the ability to create Google calendar invites. When I click on that option to create an invite, it will go straight to Google in my web browser, and it creates a meeting folder. I'm able to share it with the customers. I've not seen that option in Zoom. Additionally, the solution has high performance, and the video and quality of the calls are good. It has all the features that I need."
"It allows us to invite members to attend the meeting efficiently."
"Microsoft Teams is a scalable tool because it integrates with many other tools and different kinds of apps."
"The solution has features like good voice clarity, good video quality, and recording."
"I find the ability to maintain group and conference information for project-related work useful."
"It is an excellent all-around communications tool that works well for business purposes."
"Sharing documents in real-time has been incredibly helpful."
"I find the chat and messaging system in Microsoft Teams the most valuable for productivity. We replaced Zoom and other video conferencing tools with Teams for internal and external video calls. Teams is now our standard tool for communication, handling both audio and video conference calls."
"Vidyo is excellent for video conferencing, with a very high usage rate alongside Epic Solutions."

Cons

"Inability to call into meetings."
"I would rate the stability of Microsoft Teams as a six or seven, as there is a lot of audio drop in between, so it's not that stable."
"We encountered occasional outages, which occurred a couple of times last year while using the product."
"The tool needs to improve its stability. There are issues when too many people use it at the same time."
"The product is not fully integrated in Brazil."
"On rare occasions, it freezes and some people will lose sound or they could lose video."
"I'd like Microsoft to start adding more AI functionality into Teams."
"The product is immature and lacks some of the features and functionality you would expect in a collaboration tool."
"There are a few technical aspects that might need assistance, such as enabling Vidyo inside a web browser as opposed to using it via an SDK in an app."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is expensive, and I rate its pricing a ten out of ten."
"Microsoft Teams is a cheap solution because it's included in the Microsoft 365 suite."
"You don't buy only the Teams license; you buy it as part of the Microsoft 365 bundle."
"The tool's price is high and I would rate it an eight out of ten."
"The solution's cost is high."
"Its pricing is reasonable."
"The solution's pricing is average."
"If you have content that requires more security and you want to use it in a more secure manner, with more protection, then it will come at a higher cost."
