We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We have been able to save costs using this solution compared to the product we used before.""It allows me to present or to demonstrate the business process flow, visually, without having to resort to PowerPoint, Visio, or other products.""Camunda is a scalable product.""Overall, the solution has been very solid.""Camunda's most valuable feature is its ability to integrate with different products.""I can use any other tools to create services and the UI, and then use them together with the Camunda BPMN engine.""It is quite easy to build a simple process without any knowledge of programming.""We can easily define and deploy business processes. Camunda provides the tools that allow business people to design business processes. We don't have to have developers for it. It is so easy to use that our business people can go into the tool and model their business processes. We get time to do other things than just designing business processes."

"Kofax TotalAgility is stable.""It's not so complex to design what you need to.""Essentially, Kofax TotalAgility as a whole is quite nice. As of now, we've only been able to use and explore its document classification and extraction capabilities. We haven't explored and used the case management capability yet, but the scan and capture capabilities we've been using heavily and those are quite good. Our solutions are mainly around those areas of Kofax TotalAgility. We haven't explored the product a lot, but the capabilities we've explored are good.""Now it has an OCR, optical character recognition, engine where it can extract data from the document.""One feature I like is that it makes the matrix easy for an unstructured document.""The most valuable features of this solution are automation, ease of billing processes with the process net, and low to no code development.""Kofax TotalAgility is a great design tool for reading handwritten invoices.""It is user-friendly and has good documentation. It's good for developing communication and has a lot of the APIs needed for this purpose. There aren't a lot of software options available from this time period; this is the only one from 2013 that has this concept of microservices."

Cons
"The product must provide more videos and training materials.""The business model could be easier to understand.""I'm from the .NET world and I would like to use it, rather than Java.""If they could build some scripts or some configuration to get it up and running in a Docker environment, that would be good. I didn't find anything when on Docker, however, maybe they have something and I didn't see it yet.""While it's very scalable, it would be great if auto-scaling capabilities were added to it... one area that really could help out would be to have dynamic resizing of the cluster. Right now, you have to do capacity planning.""The user interface needs some polishing because it is too technical for end-users to use it.""The support definitely can be improved. Apart from that, the language should be extendable to other platforms. If I want to write, I'll run a different platform, like Python code on top of it, or COBOL code on top of it, and it should support those languages.""In the future, I would definitely like to see the process administration (migration, audit, tracking) and process evaluation (optimize) features added to the community edition."

More Camunda Cons →

"They provide sufficient but not excellent technical support. Perhaps there is a point where they could use some improvement.""The Transformation Designer of KTA can be made better.""Sometimes there isn't enough accuracy when it comes to extracts.""There needs to be more accessible certification and better pricing.""Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy.""The one thing I would like to see more of right now: is a simplified form creation. That would be the most significant improvement I would like to see in their product.""It’s not truly low code yet, as every two or three projects, you will have a situation where you have to go behind the essential things. You will definitely still need to customize.""Kofax needs to improve the low-code or citizen developers."
