Shared storage capabilities provide enterprise value with good reliability
Amazon FSx is more costly compared to other storage solutions like EBS or EFS. The auto-scaling feature should be improved, as it currently includes downtime. I need to manually increase the storage, which is not ideal. Integrating FSx with Windows Server is challenging; it's a long process involving Active Directory (AD) setup and synchronization.

Offers the most simplest and easiest UI to use
I would not like many changes in the tool, but I think the 15 GB space provided by Google Drive Enterprise needs to be increased to around 25 five GB, as it would be really helpful for users. These days, the resolution of pictures and everything else has been increased. If you take a picture from an iPhone, it could easily be of around seven to eight GB. Photos are memories that one would want to keep or store properly. I believe that it is not possible to save a lot of photos in Google Drive Enterprise since it only provides 15 GB to users. The product does not offer a bit more storage space for users, which makes it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"FSx operates as an independent service, not tied to any server, which eliminates dependencies between applications for storage."
"We used it for disaster recovery perspective behind a number of resources, like batch services and RDS."
"The shared storage capability is highly valuable."
"On a scale of one to ten, I would rate Amazon FSx a ten."

"Google Drive Enterprise is a good product, and it is easy to use."
"For me, the most important feature is the option to save the documents and then access it from anywhere from a mobile or a desktop, or any other device."
"Google Drive provides a guarantee that I can retrieve my data anytime."
"Google Drive is much more stable compared to Dropbox. Dropbox is a catastrophic solution. I used Dropbox because I manage many files, and I lost files because the synchronization between Dropbox and my customer folder was unstable. I use Google Drive to back up my files. Google Drive is the best solution to manage the backup between my Apple computer and my personal computer."
"Some of the most useful features of Google Drive Enterprise is the ability to store my data and share it."

Cons

"A direct FTP feature would be beneficial instead of relying on transmission services."
"Amazon FSx is more costly compared to other storage solutions like EBS or EFS."
"I've been facing a challenge when doing a failover from FSx side. AWS console does not refresh within a half hour."
"Amazon FSx is more costly compared to other storage solutions like EBS or EFS."
"From my experience, there are areas in Amazon FSx where more performance is needed, as they will be looking for higher IOPS."
"Wasabi is better for scalability aspects because it is limitless."
"Considering things like speech recognition or enhanced benefits in Google Cloud could be worth exploring for a better experience."
"It would be ideal if they could offer more GBs for free. Offering 15GBs is too small."
"The price of additional storage could be reduced. I have an annual subscription and I'm only using 150GB because of the price."
"The only thing that's really been annoying is the single file size limit."
"Google can add a personalized dashboard that would give insights into the files that I have."
"In the free version, managing the files and folders and data is a little difficult."
"The solution's capacity could be increased to store more documents."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The lowest price I have paid is $370 or $380 per month, while the highest can exceed $3,000 per month."
