Find out in this report how the two Content Collaboration Platforms solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It's easy to move files around, even to, for example, SharePoint."
"From a small firm perspective, Egnyte Connect is simple, it is easy to get users up and running the same day, and I have nothing negative to say about the software. I can't speak to how Egnyte Connect would operate in a midsize company or even a large Fortune 500 company, but, from our perspective as a small business, it is fantastic."
"You can really do a lot of cool things with it in terms of being able to co-author and share documents with users that are not in your organization."
"It provides a way to granularly choose which folders from the internet you want to sync to your computer. It is really useful for people who are working on teams that are working with files that are frequently changing. You can go in and pretty clearly see what changes have been made. It gives you a constant feed."
"It is scalable and stable."
"It is a good storage solution."
"Egnyte Connect is a great application to save files."
"The most valuable features of Google Drive Enterprise are the secure file-sharing service. It is necessary to communicate with people, and the safe large file transfer is good. It's very useful and critical for us to communicate with each other nowadays. They integrate well with other Google solutions, such as Google Documents and Google Spreadsheet."
"The initial setup of Google Drive Enterprise was simple."
"Accessing their services is simple, user-friendly, and does not require a lot of technology."
"The most valuable feature of Google Drive Enterprise is storage and the mobile version. We can connect to Google Drive, on our Android phones and store all our documents, for later access at any time. It is a very flexible solution."
"I also use OneDrive, but I prefer Google Drive because it's available on many platforms and devices, so it gives a wide variety for backups, especially on Android systems."
"Google has a lot of tools. They are really useful and they are really simple to use."
"The integration with Gmail, Calendar, and Google Meet is the most valuable."
"The solution is very easy to scale."
"If this solution had a better ability to search, that would be helpful. In addition, if there was an ability to collaborate, that would also be a benefit. At present, the vision control is had because if someone gets out of it, it locks. And, whoever saves last overrides everyone's work."
"The issue of my authorization token expiring pretty quickly was pretty annoying. On pretty much every update, it would expire on every computer. On every computer update, at the first opportunity, it would expire. When my computer got updated or the authorization got cut, my saved drives would get messed up. So, I had to reconnect them all. I was never able to set up a useful drive system with my local computer with Egnyte Connect. It would be a big improvement if there was a cached system so that when it loses connection, it can still save what kind of connections were set up, and when it reconnects, it repopulates all those. I don't know if that's even possible, but that's the feature I'd want."
"As of right now, I have everything that I and my team need."
"You cannot delete a file when you have uploaded it in error."
"Before, when we were starting to use Egnyte, we were struggling with a lot of bugs with Egnyte desktop sync."
"It would be nice to see an integration of using an active directory to validate and authenticate users on our end as well as on the client user's end."
"Some features like transpose are still lacking in the solution for power users."
"You cannot upload multiple files with the same name to Google Drive. I'm not sure how relevant it is for other users, but I have multiple files with the same name that I'm unable to upload to a single folder."
"The only thing that's really been annoying is the single file size limit."
"The feature for synchronization of data from multiple systems with the same single ID is not happening in Google Drive. This feature should be added. For example, if I have only one single mail ID and I'm using it in a different location to upload different data, this is the challenge. It is happening from one system or one server. The synchronization of data from the local system to Google Drive will not happen if the IDs are the same. If I'm using it for different systems in different locations, synchronization is not happening. The system hets logged out. This feature is very important for us and they need to add it."
"It would be ideal if they could offer more GBs for free. Offering 15GBs is too small."
"Considering things like speech recognition or enhanced benefits in Google Cloud could be worth exploring for a better experience."
"It's become difficult to fit everything in one window."
"The free tier of storage is limited."
