Microsoft Power Automate Reviews

Our primary use case for Power Automate is mainly extracting data from regulators' and government websites. We have executed numerous projects, with a major one being the data extraction from these websites.

One of the most valuable features of Power Automate is its ability to extract text from a website. The capability to navigate different pages using click buttons is also crucial. 

We have saved thousands of hours by automating tasks that would have been labor-intensive and error-prone if done manually. This automation has significantly reduced human errors, allowing us to avoid such issues more effectively.

The main use cases for Microsoft Power Automate are SharePoint automation and third-party integrations with the Power Platform.

What I find valuable in Microsoft Power Automate is that it is a low-code platform, which is the first major important aspect. The second beneficial feature is that it is easy to use, and we can extend its capabilities through integration with third-party applications.

The benefits of the integration part of Microsoft Power Automate are significant when working with two systems, such as Power Platform and Salesforce. If I want to fill something in Power Platform and need to fill another item in Salesforce, instead of doing the same task in different platforms, I can directly fill it in Power Platform and integrate it with Salesforce through API in Microsoft Power Automate, and my work is complete. I don't need to use Salesforce again.

I have seen measurable benefits from Microsoft Power Automate as it saves a significant amount of time, and time saved translates to money.

The uses cases are fairly basic for my clients in the IT industry.

The email routing and management features are strong, as is the report consolidation functionality.

The integration itself is good. I have not tried many complex workflows in it because of the different limitations. For every plugin, I need to add some money. It's not coming as a bundle.

But the basic flows look okay.

The ability to integrate with third-party services works well. However, there are frequent prompts for login and credentials, especially when interacting with server-based resources.

We were a partner with Softomotive before they were acquired by Microsoft, and now, we are a partner with Microsoft. We have quite a bit of expertise in WinAutomation. Microsoft has depreciated it, and it's now a part of Power Automate, but we still help out clients with it even though it's deprecated.

Its use cases were the same as any other RPA product. It was basically used for automating any repetitive process, which could be anything from filings to transferring data between software to triggering different processes via email or databases and so on and so forth.

Triggering and scheduling were pretty good. There was no real commitment with WinAutomation because the licensing was very fair and you could trigger bots very easily. 

We use the product to automate tasks and reduce manual work in our organization. It helps set up a workflow to send a daily email reminder at a specific time, eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensuring timely reminders. It integrates Outlook as well.

The product provides valuable integration with other Microsoft tools. Azure Logistics can refresh the data and convert images into PDFs and Excel sheets automatically.

We have a few domain-specific use cases, primarily with BFSI customers and IT specialists, including some IT giants. We work with them to leverage Power Automate. They are primarily using it to automate the internal workflows that they perform on a day-to-day basis. They use Power Automate or an automated solution to simplify and streamline their processes.

Our primary focus is on new workflow development. We mainly handle the development of use cases, integration, and workflow development. While working on development, we also provide support for the use cases where the workflow is developed

We use it for processing a stream of incoming invoices.

It is a cloud solution, but you install the client on your computer, so it is a hybrid deployment.

I can compare it with the same process on Blue Prism. With Power Automate, we've been able to double the speed. It is more user-friendly. It is faster. It is ten times cheaper. There are quite a few things about it.
