What is our primary use case?
The solution is used for the documentation and visualization of the main processes. The customers have hundreds or thousands of processes, but they start with the top 20 processes. The next step is to integrate data points or measure data points within the process to know whether this is what we wanted to design for this process.
The solution is also used for process simulation to calculate if we need to add one more cashier for the checkout, which would be just an accelerated cash-out situation for the customer. With process mining, we get more detailed information about the process or the data behind or within this process.
How has it helped my organization?
yes, the processes are more efficient and optimized the workflow.
What is most valuable?
The solution's most beneficial feature is the 360 approach, where documentation, process mining, simulation, and automation capabilities are in one solution. This helps large customers that have special departments to work with special modules. Small customers or one person working with every module can go through everything behind this. It's very scalable and helps small, big, or enterprise businesses in every situation.
The solution has a huge simulation module that can not only simulate data but further define and simulate non-digital assets. For example, you have two desks and only one printer for the bot tickets at the airport. With this, you can simulate how many people can work through until you're running into a bottleneck, where you only have one printer and not two printers.
The solution's 360 approach brings together everything in one place, including design, process mining to get real data, simulation, and automation. This means there's a never-ending circle instead of a straight line that starts at one point and stops at another. There's always optimizing, recovering, and starting again to optimize every time, and so on.
This is the overall strategy behind the 360 approach. The solution's process mining is also very powerful. While other vendors focus only on process mining, iGrafx Process360 Live Platform has the capability to predict time or cost. This is something very unique in this space.
iGrafx Process360 Live Platform is a very powerful tool for customizing the landing page and all other pages. We can integrate unlimited pages within this tool and expand its capabilities, including how it looks, how you can integrate logos or special colors, etc.
The solution is much more flexible and capable than other vendors. However, the customers sometimes don't care about it because they are looking for rudimentary features. They don't consider how the tool can help them to have the same UI as the internal websites.
What needs improvement?
If customers want to change the color or the logo, they have to go through every page to verify everything is right.
We have a strategic approach for the customer. I was involved in almost 100 sessions where the customers were looking for a one-time process visualization or one-time process mining, not for a long-term association with this tool. The customer's requirements are more tactical than strategic.
We had some challenges during this time frame as I was with iGrafx, and electricity costs rose in Germany. One customer stopped a large deal because they had to reduce every non-invested investment due to the electricity bill rising by 500% to 800%.
For how long have I used the solution?
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
My experience with the solution's stability or performance was very good. iGrafx was able to define different instances in different locations if necessary. In most cases, there is one location, and everyone can work worldwide through the internet. If they have large video content, it makes sense for the overall strategy and architecture to be defined for the US data center where the system is also installed.
I don't run into any performance or scalability issues. From a global perspective, everything is possible, and it works fine. There was no poor performance or unhappy customers regarding the performance. The tool was always fast but depended on the user's internet connection. Mostly, everything was optimized for web traffic and not for downloading gigabytes of content.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution performs very well
How are customer service and support?
Very good support from the vendor´s team.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
only freeware, but always running into limitations.
How was the initial setup?
iGrafx Process360 Live Platform is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. Customers can easily access the tool within a few hours or days. There's no special setup for the customer. If the customer wants to start with a blank page, they can import a lot of defined templates and rulesets that they can use.
Then, they can start to create the look and feel of the UI for their uses. There's always room for improvement, such as making it much easier or importing a website. We help the customer with the solution's setup, but the main responsible people can do it within a day.
What about the implementation team?
This is a Software as a Service solution and the system was up and running at the first day.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I have heard that the solution's pricing is very competitive.
What other advice do I have?
I was a pre-sales resource. I helped customers or prospects during the sales cycle by presenting the solution with their capabilities. I also helped them identify whether the solution fits their requirements.
You can communicate through APIs with many other tools. Through APIs, you can connect mostly to everything. Not every function is related to API, but most are. With the integration of automation, you can do everything behind this. This is sometimes more of a workaround, but at the end of the day, it is possible to fulfill the needs or integrate with other tools.
The customers had nothing to maintain in the infrastructure. Since it's a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, IGrafx handled everything, including the backups. If customers want to change the color or the logo, they have to go through every page to verify everything is right. There is room for improvement, but the trained people can change or maintain the content within the tool within a few hours.
The solution's 360-degree approach allows several modules to be handled together. The solution provides scalability from small customers to large enterprise customers. I have heard that the solution's pricing is very competitive.
Since iGrafx Process360 Live Platform is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, customers don't have to worry about infrastructure and data storage. Everything is covered by iGrafx. iGrafx creates templates for their partners that they can use just for regulations, which is very powerful.
I would recommend the solution to other users based on their requirements. If they are looking for a small tool for a trainee to click through and do some things, the tool is oversized and overpriced. However, iGrafx Process360 Live Platform is a very good and helpful tool for customers looking for a strategic tool to help them not just once but every time.
iGrafx is working with at least two different automation solutions. One of these automation solutions is very conversational AI-oriented. It delivers the UI between the users, who could be employees or external customers and follows defined processes.
AI is integrated to help with communication and optimize the process. There are AI components in process mining that focus on prediction. The solution has several AI features, but not in every module and not for every situation.
Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
