Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We have access to great functionality while establishing a remote connection.""Odo helped us a lot to be able to efficiently, effectively, and robustly have our employees who will work from their homes in times of the pandemic.""The advanced protection, centralized administration, and the ability to have experts hand in hand providing us with good best practice solutions and centralized management have been useful.""The solution is stable and without any issues at this moment."

More Odo Pros →

"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""The solution can scale very well.""It's easy to use and straightforward.""The most valuable aspects of the solution are the integration with external websites one-factor authentication.""The feature that is most valuable to me is the automated user provisioning that we set up using Okta as a major part of that process.""We can automate the process of adding users to Okta if they are activated in Active Directory, or if they are added to the database of applications or Active Directory in the last couple of days.""One of the most beneficial features of the solution is the user provisioning and the de-provisioning feature.""Workforce Identity offers a comprehensive access management solution with multi-factor authentication, total control, and features like app access management, identity governance, and administration tools such as certification and access request management. These are typically found in identity management solutions, but Okta integrates them seamlessly into its user interface."

Cons
"Until now, I have not found anything that I do not like about this service, however, security trends and vulnerabilities will always exist and there should always be new ways to protect the perimeters of our corporate infrastructure.""We'd like this simplified to provide a prompt and efficient installation since, in many cases, the solution or the guides provided by the manufacturer are a bit complex.""Scalability is very limited.""They should centralize the configuration interfaces into a single pane since sometimes a point is being configured, and you have to move to another point to finish the configuration."

More Odo Cons →

"The only aspect in which it can be improved is that the interface could be cleaner. I found this even when I was trying to do my certification exam because the certification is hands-on. You find yourself fumbling around a little bit to find simple things. This happens even when you start to get familiar with the product.""On the admin side, we can create our own passwords instead of generating one, which is usually difficult to explain to a user.""It only facilitates provisioning and not de-provisioning.""It's not compatible with on-premises installations, unless you host it as a SaaS. We were not able to do that. For example, imagine a scenario where the cloud is not available. Then, Okta will not work for you. That use case will readily fail because it doesn't have an on-premises installation that you can use to authenticate or provide identity and access management. If you have a purely on-premises solution that is not connected to the internet, then this will not work. This is one area that can be improved.""The error logging could be improved. Okta doesn't provide enough details when you are troubleshooting an issue. It's often difficult to fix it from our end, so we always need additional support from Okta.""Application updates are lacking. Customer support needs to be improved.""SSO and MFA for improved end-user experience, and protection against password spray attacks, account password self-service.""The initial setup can be complex at first."
