Provides a variety of automated workflows, but there could be better customization options
We have a variety of automated workflows in Dynamics CRM, which work well when set up properly. One significant benefit is cost savings. It is more economical than other options like Salesforce. It allows for constant reviews of existing manual systems, enabling automation and improving efficiency over time. It facilitates budget management by allowing each line manager to allocate budgets per staff for necessary equipment and resources. I rate it a seven.

A CRM system that helps you automate and integrate your customer data and customer facing-activities: sales, marketing, service, and e-commerce
One area for improvement is the security model, especially regarding records management retention and the audit and legal holds. Since we're in the middle of a cloud digital transformation, it's essential to ensure the system flags documents properly according to global retention policies. We need to address bugs and make sure our system fully aligns with our procedures and policies. This is crucial to prevent breaches, especially in a time when breaches are becoming more common. For instance, my personal identity was compromised four months ago when my mortgage company had a breach, and I’m still working with the FTC to clean up the damage. In my work in mortgage and financial services, I’m focused on preventing this kind of issue for our consumers and clients.

It's good at visualizing large amounts of data
You need to buy connectors to integrate Marketing Automation with various suppliers. For example, if I want to see the data through Power BI, I need a connector to see the data directly. Otherwise, you need to do everything manually. You have to download information from SAS and then save a text file, and then I can import it into Power BI. I would like Marketing Automation to have this native functionality without the need to pay more for connectors.

"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is the campaign feature."

"The integration of all data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including customer and lead management, is very beneficial."
"The product is user-friendly."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"Getting the right information at the right time across different programs is important. These programs lack interaction between them. IPA is a good option to bring them together."
"The flexibility to design the portal and customize it according to the needs of the clients is valuable. The integration with SAP ERP is also valuable."
"The platform is highly scalable."
"The stability is good."
"The solution is easy to use."
"The user interface is excellent."
"It was comfortable setting up the tool."
"The features that are used most are the lead model and the opportunity model. We can create many different pipelines with many phases. These features improved our process in the States very well."
"You can enable it for business users or marketing users to use it in a self-service way. So, the technical team is needed to build the features or processes, and then those processes can be used in a self-service way by your non-technical users."
"SAP Marketing Automation is user-friendly. The interface is nice and clear. You can see the different diagrams and define various filters and targets. You can also export the customer information you collect to make the campaign. It's easy to understand how this information is entered. There are also a lot of platforms that show the results of campaigns. You can customize your data and define different reports, but SAS also provides a standard report."

Cons

"The solution's interface has room for improvement."
"The price of Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve."
"Dynamics could perform a little better, and it would be nice to save the filters I use frequently, so I don't need to do the same thing every day."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM can improve by adding more artificial intelligence. Additionally, they should add more modules, such as account-based management, that are available on other platforms such as salesforce.com."
"The UI and GUI could be improved."
"It is difficult to qualify opportunity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
"The product is very old."
"My company's biggest challenge with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is wanting to market solely to leads without having to create a contact and link the contact to the lead. From a marketing standpoint, there's room for improvement in the lead process of Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
"Our users are using it primarily from their laptop browser and very few are using it on their mobile because the mobile is not that user-friendly."
"There are quite a lot of missing parts in SAP CRM, which is why we do a lot of customization. Not everything is there, and some things need custom coding to cater to specific needs. It is not a plug-and-play solution with standard features, and we have to customize quite a lot."
"SAP CRM could improve by making the solution more current, it is out of date. There are no more updates for SAP CRM."
"The solution needs more flexible customization, tender request, and they need to think about some of the localization aspects."
"There is no scope for integration because SAP does not allow any personal integration."
"The interface could be improved."
"In the future, machine learning and artificial intelligence functionality need to be included."
"The implementation and integrations could be better. After we went into the production environment, we had some issues. Most of them were with the ERP integration. Many other issues were around the client's integrations between the ERP and CRM platforms. It could be more user-friendly. It wasn't very user-friendly initially, but now it's easier for them to use. Now, the users can use that platform better than at the beginning. We would like to see reports with more analytic features and artificial intelligence in the next release. For example, show more metrics and KPIs and more dynamic dashboards. Because the platform has some models, but it's not easy to use. It's a little complex."
"The product is highly customizable, but the marketing and business teams want a lot of things to be built out of the box. A lot of features that could be out of the box aren't there. The main concern is to keep the system in such a way that it provides you with some out-of-the-box features and some customizable features as well."
"You need to buy connectors to integrate Marketing Automation with various suppliers. For example, if I want to see the data through Power BI, I need a connector to see the data directly. Otherwise, you need to do everything manually. You have to download information from SAS and then save a text file, and then I can import it into Power BI. Pricing and Cost Advice

"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an expensive solution. However, most good CRMs are expensive."
"Licensing fees are paid on a monthly basis."
"The cost could be cheaper. I would rate them 3 out of 5."
"The customers that have Microsoft Office 365, the license price is competitive. It is competitive because the next solution above it is Salesforce, which is licensed quite high. The price annually was approximately $55 per user but we did a combination of users with some of them having the higher range of approximately $85."
"The annual license for Microsoft Dynamics CRM could be reduced, it is expensive."
"The solution is expensive."
"Dynamics CRM's pricing is fair."
"I am not the person who pays for Microsoft Dynamics CRM but it is expensive. I have been using Microsoft Azure, which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is built on, and I know we prepaid for the services. For me as a consumer, I do not think I can afford it, mainly because I am only learning how to use the AI and the rate which they charge is high. In general, Microsoft solutions are expensive and this is most likely due to the brand, this is something you expect. However, the price might be high but you receive a highly secure solution."
"Its price is reasonable. As compared to other CRMs, this CRM is competitively priced. They have multiple flavors with different sets of functionality. Pricing is based on the flavor that suits your requirement. If you have more users, the cost will come down."
"SAP CRM is an expensive solution and is the most challenging aspect of the solution."
"We have to pay a yearly licensing fee for SAP CRM, which is expensive."
"We pay for the license yearly."
"SAP CRM costs approximately a couple of thousand a month."
"SAP CRM is an expensive product."
"There is a license required to use SAP CRM."
"From the maintenance perspective, SAP CRM is quite expensive compared to cloud services because the current solution they're using is managed by us and we are hosting it on servers. There is the cost of hosting, and managing servers and applications. The overhead is substantial, but this solution is a legacy system. It will take some time for the customer to migrate out of it."
"I'm not aware of the full cost. The financials are not with me. In terms of additional costs, there are always OpEx and CapEx. That's one way to look at it. You also need separate hardware to deploy the product."
