Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Easy to deploy, stable, scalable and safe
I previously used TeamViewer. ISL Online is definitely the better choice compared to TeamViewer, as it offers a more secure connection that does not involve peer-to-peer transport, and all data is encrypted. A single license for ISL Online costs about the same as TeamViewer but with multiple licenses, ISL Online is cheaper.

Remote support has transformed my work and now saves time with fast, secure file transfers
What I appreciate about TeamViewer Business is the reliable and secure connection experienced during file transfers or troubleshooting processes, even when we have to restart the PC; we are still able to connect to the customer quickly. TeamViewer Business offers a free version for both personal and business use. The free version actually covers all the features needed for secure remote connection, which is one of the positive aspects I have experienced. The secure connections and great file transfer feature are super fast and secure, with reliable features during the process of reconnecting and connecting back to clients. Back in 2009 and 2007, the internet did not have the faster features it has today. TeamViewer Business's file transfer feature has made things easier. Instead of downloading a file from a source like HP.com, we just have to transfer the file from our system to the customer securely and quickly. Many technical support people have benefited from that feature, which I find very reliable.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It is a stable solution."
"It's really easy to access."
"It's easy to deploy a configuration or policy to a system, especially when you don't have Azure AD. Now we are talking to all these small and medium-sized customers who don't necessarily have an on-premise Windows Active Directory. If they have invested in Office 365 Premium, this functionality becomes available to them."
"Microsoft Intune scales very effectively with our growing needs."
"It is a helpful tool to manage BYOD policies."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Intune is that it is more of a one-stop shop, providing an easier experience."
"I like that we can implement conditional access."
"In terms of technical support, you will get an immediate response."
"The most valuable feature is safety."
"We like drawing utilities inside ISL. That helps us mark specific regions on the screen, so that end users know what to focus on."
"It's much easier to connect with other services, and it's working great. We haven't had any problems."
"I personally really appreciate the file transfer feature as it is really easy to use."
"The code can be delivered in multiple ways, including an email with a link for an unattended connection."
"We can also monitor our systems at any time from practically anywhere."
"ISL Online is easy to use. It provides a single platform on which we can do everything, and it's very low maintenance. After installation, you don't need an IT manager or staff to watch over it. It's secure. It's most important for us."
"The solution has a lot of features. It does what it is made to do and that's all we can ask for, really."
"The document control is quite good."
"TeamViewer is a scalable solution."
"It is a scalable product."
"I like that it helped a lot, even with low bandwidth network connectivity. For example, while I was traveling, sometimes there were requirements for me to join a TeamViewer session and provide technical support. I was able to do that without much of an issue. It is also a secure solution."
"This is a unique solution that is very easy to install."
"There is a relevant return on investment, especially when my previous organizations assisted with remote access features, as rather than needing to go on-site, we could connect remotely, making it easier for those who are not tech-savvy, thanks to TeamViewer Business's user-friendly features, which helped immensely, especially when assisting elderly clients, and ensured we met metrics effectively, creating a significant positive impact."
"TeamViewer Business has positively impacted my organization by giving us the ability to provide clients with a good experience and to fix bugs quickly while accessing their computers."
"It is fairly feature-rich and stable."

Cons

"The tool's tunnel gateway is not very good, making it an area where improvements are required."
"In the next release, I would like a feature to be able to properly lock down the device. For example, if an attacker or somebody steals the phone, you can be sure that the pin cannot be broken."
"I have faced stability issues with Microsoft Intune plenty of times, but I think it's part of the process."
"From a new user's perspective, it may be a little overwhelming because there are quite a few things to look at in the console, however, once you are sort of acclimated and are familiar with your core functions, it's fairly simple and straightforward."
"Regarding mobile devices, Intune is good, but there are other services that I would say are ahead of Intune from an administration and reporting point of view."
"There were several bugs with stability."
"The add-ons must be integrated into the solution."
"However, with Microsoft, it takes a lot longer, and I’m not getting quick resolutions. Sometimes, I find myself bouncing around between different support groups."
"We miss the possibility to communicate via head-set in ISL. At the moment, we combine ISL for visual communication with Skype for verbal communication."
"I would like to be able to access and manage all brands of smartphones."
"They need to better advertise the features."
"There have been times during updates when something wouldn't work quite right, however, they are quick with updates and quick with fixes."
"It would be helpful if they had iSupport for supporting Apple phones."
"I would like to have a little bit more information when new features are released. They have added features that I didn't know about in the past. It would be easier for me to implement new features and consolidate them with other systems in our network if I knew beforehand."
"If there is an update or new feature on ISL Online, I don't know about it. I would be happy to receive a newsletter or notification of new features or updates."
"There could be a section in the menu describing the new features and changes."
"The stability of TeamViewer is good, but it could be better."
"I can use up to three computers, but sometimes I have four. So, it would be nice to have at least four computers."
"It should have ability to display notes in the computer list."
"I am not sure about all the features of TeamViewer, but if they have no voice communication or file transfer features they should add them."
"I'm not sure if they provide good quality audio alongside screensharing."
"TeamViewer is publicly available and anyone can use it. This is the reason that many organizations do not permit the use of this solution. It is not considered to be secure enough."
"Sometimes it lags."
"TeamViewer can improve connectivity. I had some problems connecting to my clients and now I use AnyDesk."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune is included with our F3 and E5 licenses."
"Even if they charge a premium, they aim to provide equal value."
"Intune is included in the Microsoft 365 licensing package that we have."
"Its price is fair. It's a normal price. It isn't too expensive or too cheap."
"The purchase of the product was handled by someone else."
"We have a limited budget for security investments, so Microsoft should consider reducing pricing in our region. This would make investment more viable, especially since larger businesses in other countries can afford it easily."
"Existing E5 license holders for M365, Intune, and Azure, receive a free license."
"Intune is available as an individual product, but it also comes with Office 365 Premium or an Enterprise license, and the price varies for each version."
"We have a pay-per-use license available for 500 minutes within one year for 95 Euros. However, this option is not popular. Alternatively, we can purchase a one-year license for 339 Euros; if we need two licenses, the cost is double, and for three licenses, the cost is triple with a ten percent discount. For 99 Euros a year, we can open multiple sessions on the same computer with a multi-session subscription."
"TeamViewer was willing to give us a one-year package. Whereas, a lot of the other companies that we explored were paid by the month or quarter. It's just easier for our finance people at the college if we can make a one-time yearly payment."
"I used the free version of TeamViewer."
"We have an annual subscription that is just under $1,900 with no additional costs. We get these promotions about upgrades and stuff like that, but we haven't had a need to add more seats. Users can also use TeamViewer for home use with a non-commercial free license."
"I used the free version of TeamViewer."
"We're using the free version. We do not pay any licensing fees."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"TeamViewer is $600 or $700 per port per year..."
"The price was cheaper than what we were previously paying. At the time that we went with TeamViewer, we were using ShareConnect. The TeamViewer package was about half the cost and able to have a bigger number of users."
