Provides integrated solutions for international business operations
Infor CloudSuite offers a comprehensive solution with integrated business intelligence and artificial intelligence capabilities. It does not require hardware or extensive IT expertise, which are standard advantages for cloud solutions. Its integration capabilities with Microsoft features are notable. Additionally, it is a highly scalable and stable solution, useful for large enterprises engaged in international business. It is also easy to maintain compared to other ERP solutions.

Offers great integration capabilities and allows just the real-time inventory
Dynamics GP improves inventory management by offering real-time inventory tracking, and automated purchase order creation, receiving, and updating inventory levels. It facilitates site-to-site transfers and allocation tracking, enabling efficient stock management across locations. The integration capability of Dynamics GP, combined with Power Platform, has transformed our business processes. We now use PowerApps to enable salesmen to send orders electronically, eliminating the need for order books. Additionally, we developed HR apps to streamline tasks for our staff, leading to automated processes and improved efficiency. Our experience with Dynamics GP reporting and analytics features, particularly Advanced Analysis, has been great. We utilize customized smart lists for purchasing and other functions, allowing for tailored insights over specific periods. Additionally, we have developed custom dashboards for enhanced visibility and support portal integration. I wouldn't recommend Dynamics GP due to its legacy status and impending end of support. However, if integration with the Power Platform is crucial and the company prioritizes modernization, it could still be a viable option. For new companies, I would suggest considering Dynamics 365 Business Central for a more modern solution. Overall, I would rate Dynamics GP as a seven out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We did some research and chose CloudSuite because it has the flexibility to cover a range of areas. And there were many other factors like traceability, for example, which is crucial for food production."
"From a product perspective, it's more lenient and suitable for using features in finance, such as reconciling our payments, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc."
"It is a scalable solution."
"Workflow management and collaboration tools enhance operations and facilitate seamless interaction among departments."
"The solution is particularly effective for ERP. The automation of emails is a valuable feature for me. The solution is stable. The solution is scalable. Infor CloudSuite Industrial is better for its development aspect. It allows us to customize and implement changes more efficiently. The initial setup was straightforward. I recommend the solution."
"What I appreciate most about Infor CloudSuite is the out-of-box standard functionality; it really can function to meet the needs of any company."
"The stability of the solution is perfect. I rate it a ten out of ten."
"Infor CloudSuite offers a comprehensive solution with integrated business intelligence and artificial intelligence capabilities."
"It is strong in integration."
"It is a tried and tested ERP system which if used correctly, is definitely a very good program for managing all aspects of a business from customer sales, and receivables management, to payable management and finance reporting. So, it's super critical for any mid-sized company."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to easily update and maintain accurate data across all aspects of our operations."
"It's enhanced by a subscription billing add-on, to efficiently automate billing and invoicing, particularly due to our substantial customer database."
"The stability was reliable."
"Snowflake's ability to handle large queries efficiently is very beneficial, unlike other databases which can take a significant amount of time for similar tasks."
"We have gained the capability to control and address various issues within the financial module effectively."
"You can track everything from beginning to end quite easily."

Cons

"There should be better clarity and agreement on all interfaces and requirements before signing a contract. This would avoid unexpected costs and complications later on."
"The platform's distribution features need enhancement."
"Pricing is always an area where there is room for improvement."
"As far as pricing and licensing are concerned, more licenses are needed when companies grow with Infor CloudSuite."
"Regarding integration, specific third-party tools are not accepted, for example, on the old version of IBM or Oracle."
"Planning needs to be improved. That is, industry-specific planning details need to be added and refined."
"The price of the solution is not good. In Europe, it's difficult to find people who already know Infor, which was a problem during implementation."
"It takes time to properly learn what the product can do."
"Many of our customers are migrating to the cloud rather than staying on-premises."
"The purchase order and processing aspects of the solution should be improved."
"As technology changes, I would say probably in the area of chart up account needs improvement because chart up account is a string. So if they make it more flexible."
"The biggest problem with GP is that it's not cloud based and it doesn't lend itself to subscription licensing. But Microsoft wants everything in the cloud and licensed on a subscription basis.Even tThough GP can be deployed on a cloud server, but basically, it's a Windows based product. It uses the older model and companies purchase the program and pay a 16-18 sixteen- eighteen percent annual renewal fee but Microsoft wants everybody to pay monthly or annual renewal fees on a subscription basis."
"I would rate technical support for Microsoft Dynamics GP on a scale of 1 to 10 as six or five maximum."
"There should also be extra redundancy when posting to modules. We use different sets of books such as CashBook and CheckBooks therefore if I select the wrong one the solution allows the transaction to just pass without warning."
"With payroll, the payroll that they have offers US or Canadian tax. However, here, our tax payments are different from the US and Canada. It is very difficult to put in our tax tables. We need some customization. It should be readily available for any country to use according to their tax implications. The system should know different types of tax regimes around the world so that it can accommodate. It's a little bit rigid on that."
"Dynamics GP could be improved in terms of its usability and modernization."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is not built on a standard model."
"As for pricing, I secured a favorable deal at around $80,000 yearly for five years, but it was a one-time opportunity."
"The product is expensive. I rate the pricing a five out of ten."
"It is a cost-effective solution."
"For on-premise installations, the licensing is yearly."
"I'm working for a German company, but I'm located in Portugal. In the German market, Infor's price isn't an issue for clients, but Infor is losing market share every year to SAP in Portugal. Portuguese clients find SAP more affordable. Infor needs to work on this."
"The platform's pricing depends on the specific number of users."
"I feel it is not very cheap, very economical but also not very expensive."
"In comparison to other ERP systems, the pricing is not necessarily inexpensive, but it can be considered more cost-effective."
"It is an affordable solution."
"Its pricing and licensing are high. Of course, we all know that it is Microsoft."
"For us, in our local currency, it costs us around 5 million Botswanan Pulas a year. It's quite a lot of money."
"I would say that the pricing is moderate, not cheap, and not expensive. There are many more expensive ERPs than GP, and there are less expensive as well, so it is moderately priced."
"We evaluated some local products, because of the pricing, but this product has better features and support."
"The solution's price is steep."
"I think the tool is competitively priced and it's more of a one-time investment with a low annual renewal fee."
