Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Delivers seamless remote access and excellent support
I don't have experience in ManageEngine. I have experience with GFI LANguard, Qualys Patch Management, and WatchGuard Firebox. I also have experience with GoTo Resolve. I don't know about the advanced security protocols in GoTo Resolve. The solution is very good. The vendor is good, the technical support is good, so there will be no complaint about it. I rate GoTo Resolve 9 out of 10.

Has supported access for thousands of endpoints while reducing communication delays
The software offers compatibility with different versions of Microsoft Windows, ease of use, and features such as file transfer and other capabilities. Screenshot functionality is supported, and it has built-in chat functionality which we use occasionally. The product is seamless, easy to use, easy to implement and configure. We did not require any support whatsoever. It is affordable and allows simultaneous connections, which is beneficial for technical support.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We are transforming our flat network by adopting different cloud solutions, and our own applications are hosted in the cloud. Intune ensures our security throughout our entire cloud-based system, improving our security posture."
"I like how Intune brings everything into one place. For example, you can set up conditional access to applications and devices inside Intune. I also like the segregation inside the Intune devices. You can segregate them by Windows, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android. You can sort it by platform, so you don't need to go into the devices section."
"The user experience is good; we could work and deploy many controls through Microsoft Intune."
"ROI is very high at the end."
"Using Azure and Intune has helped us resolve most of these issues, as we no longer need a physical infrastructure to manage systems and can push policies remotely while maintaining control over the devices."
"Among the most valuable features are the Company Portal that is built into Intune, and the update rings so that we can manage what types of future updates the devices get."
"The solution has significantly improved managing a diverse range of devices. We have observed enhancements across Android, iOS, and Windows devices."
"The most useful features in Microsoft Intune are the policy enforcement and conditional access. These features make our operations easier from a company perspective."
"We wouldn't be able to offer the services that we offer without a product like this."
"I think that's the best solution I have ever checked; instead of AnyDesk or TeamViewer, you can use GoTo Resolve."
"The ability to change the way that the client works to a service so that we can get a little bit deeper into the operating system, as opposed to just an app running is the most valuable aspect. We also like the unattended sessions. Those are probably the two most important things to us. It's important because we can't do certain things when it is just an application running."
"The product is seamless, easy to use, easy to implement and configure; we did not require any support whatsoever."

Cons

"Microsoft Intune is currently overpriced."
"Integrating certain group policies can be challenging and may necessitate using on-premises systems to integrate them with Microsoft Intune."
"I find the price for Microsoft Intune too high, which represents an area for improvement in Microsoft's pricing model."
"It is not very stable. Sometimes, it works instantly, and sometimes, something goes wrong, and you get stuck there."
"Microsoft needs to enhance device-level security, as sometimes when using Microsoft Intune, the device's operating system becomes stuck and requires a full uninstall to remove the Intune bug."
"When pushing anything from Microsoft Intune, the sync timing is 48 hours. While sometimes it takes 5 to 10 minutes, the official period given by Microsoft is within 48 hours, which can be time-consuming for policies, applications, or patches."
"A detailed device diagnostic feature is missing. Also, operating system deployment and imaging are missing."
"One major concern I have is user friction. When you enforce many policies and people log into apps like Microsoft Teams or Outlook, they encounter numerous MFA and other policies."
"If they included some sort of monitoring system for managed services so we can have it all in one package, that would be helpful. There are managed services solutions that allow us to remote into the computers, but a lot of them have too much overhead. Usually, the remote connection is not as simple and as fast and cannot be run as a service."
"If they included some sort of monitoring system for managed services so we can have it all in one package, that would be helpful."
"The pricing of GoTo Resolve is very high compared to other solutions."
"Compatibility with other operating systems such as Mac and Linux would be advantageous."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune's pricing is reasonable considering its benefits and the high costs it helps avoid."
"Intune is included in the Microsoft 365 licensing package that we have."
"We are partners, so we receive some discount. However, from the customer's perspective, Microsoft Intune's pricing is competitive with non-Microsoft technology, and the price is good compared to other market competitors."
"The price of Microsoft Intune is reasonable."
"They have categorized the licenses according to the size of the business. So, if it's a smaller organization, we can choose the license accordingly. If it's a big organization, then we can choose accordingly. Everything is clearly mentioned, and we can decide. It's suitable for all kinds of infrastructure, and that's very goo"
"Microsoft Intune is expensive."
"Microsoft Intune's costliness stems from licensing fees and the overhead associated with its management, user experience, and device remediation."
"It is cheap, but as compared to Google, it is costly. Google is cheaper, but quality-wise, Microsoft Intune is better."
"It's very inexpensive. The seats are $25 monthly apiece or something. There aren't additional costs that I'm aware of."
