Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Has supported access for thousands of endpoints while reducing communication delays
The software offers compatibility with different versions of Microsoft Windows, ease of use, and features such as file transfer and other capabilities. Screenshot functionality is supported, and it has built-in chat functionality which we use occasionally. The product is seamless, easy to use, easy to implement and configure. We did not require any support whatsoever. It is affordable and allows simultaneous connections, which is beneficial for technical support.

Reliable remote access has improved secure collaboration and streamlined daily approvals
The best features TeamViewer Business offers in my opinion are collaboration, templates, a high level of security, and session recording. Collaboration allows me to collaborate remotely with my team members. Besides reconnecting automatically, it provides a high level of security, protecting from cyber attacks and aids in providing assurance in regulated environments through two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption features. It also allows recording live sessions, which can be replayed as needed for future reference. TeamViewer Business has positively impacted my organization as collaboration has enhanced, especially remote collaboration by 60 to 70 percent. I have been able to collaborate with clients and other team members seamlessly. Enhanced workflow efficiency includes faster approvals and a lowered risk of data loss, misuse, and leak through robust features like two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. It also facilitates compliance using documentation and auditing through recordings and logs.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"One of the most valuable features of Microsoft Intune is the detection and remediation script capability."
"Intune's compliance features are valuable because they allow immediate visibility into ongoing situations."
"The ability to work from all over the planet is valuable. You just need a functioning and working Internet connection."
"The aspects I find most valuable are the managing the data and applications. I can also restrict the users to install any applications. I can also wipe the data if the phone was missplaced or stolen. These are the basics for me."
"The many policies available in Microsoft Intune for managing our devices are valuable."
"We can implement a MAM policy in this Intune and protect the device through mobile application development without touching it. The interface is easy to use and understand."
"The performance of Microsoft Intune is good."
"The most valuable feature of Intune is the user-friendly portal for end users."
"The product is seamless, easy to use, easy to implement and configure; we did not require any support whatsoever."
"It’s pretty dependable and very easy to use."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use and beneficial remote access."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use."
"TeamViewer Business is one of the best tools that we use in my organization for support, especially when our customers troubleshoot."
"The most important feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use."
"It saves trips to customer sites, which saves time. I am able to get in there remotely and fix things."
"The dashboards they have are good."
"Just being able to dial in on a clients server is all I need, and it reconnects automatically when there are connection issues."

Cons

"There are challenges with Intune, specifically in reporting. Many third-party companies offer single-pane-of-glass reporting that shows you what your update environment looks like, how your patch is doing, application status, etc., but Intune's reporting is not intuitive."
"Reliability is something that I feel there is a tad bit of concern. The only point is that we need to sync multiple times to get something pushed through."
"Enrollment into the Microsoft Intune service can still get easier, especially for legacy-managed systems, such as how we get it from a GPO or an SCCM configuration into Intune."
"Once it's configured it is unobtrusive, but it does take some hands-on to configure and deploy it properly."
"One area for improvement is app deployment. Another is the Windows update rollout. If you're rolling out an object to a device that's offline, Intune stops trying to reach this device after it sits idle for a bit. We are forced to find a workaround that could help manage that."
"I assess the stability of the product as low. I have faced downtime crashes and performance issues with Microsoft Intune."
"Some enrollment features could be improved."
"Reporting in Microsoft Intune presents challenges because the built-in reports are often too basic."
"Compatibility with other operating systems such as Mac and Linux would be advantageous."
"You can't configure multiple, unattended control passwords on the Mac. On the Mac, there's only one. On Windows, there are multiple unattended control passwords. I have people in different departments. My infrastructure people need to control a server and my developers may need to go into that same server. But I don't want them to have the same password... on the Mac, it can be done but it's extremely clunky and problematic."
"TeamViewer could improve by having a cloud version. Having the solution on the system could cause some cyber security concerns with data."
"I think the pricing could have been improved, as smaller organizations like us usually need a low-cost tool."
"Sometimes, the app can be a little cumbersome when accessing certain aspects of the program."
"I would like it to have the ability to stay connected for longer times."
"Sometimes we'll have a device in the field, and I'll click on remote control and it says "Can't authenticate." I'll double click in a different part of the TeamViewer interface and it'll say "Can't authenticate." Then I'll do it a third time and it connects. It's possible that it's just bad luck. It's also very possible that it's some bug within TeamViewer..."
"I am not sure about all the features of TeamViewer, but if they have no voice communication or file transfer features they should add them."
"TeamViewer is expensive, and you get a limited number of connections for your money."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing for Microsoft Intune is reasonable. Our clients are satisfied."
"Microsoft Intune is moderately priced. There is a monthly license required to use the solution and it is approximately eight dollars per month."
"Microsoft's licensing is more flexible and adaptive than its competitors."
"With one user base license, we can use Intune for up to five devices. However, with Soti MobiControl, each license is tied to a single device, meaning one license is dedicated to one device only."
"Microsoft Intune is pretty reasonable. We have difficulty with Azure, which is probably why we have not put many assets in Azure. Everything we put there is very expensive."
"The pricing for Intune and the competitor products are all within the same range, there is no true advantage when it comes to cost."
"I rate Intune an eight out of ten for affordability. It's bundled with the 365 licensing, which is competitive overall."
"The solution is cost-efficient."
Information not available
"We are not using the solution for commercial use therefore it is free to use."
"The cost is in the thousands of dollars per year."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"TeamViewer was willing to give us a one-year package. Whereas, a lot of the other companies that we explored were paid by the month or quarter. It's just easier for our finance people at the college if we can make a one-time yearly payment."
"We have an annual subscription that is just under $1,900 with no additional costs. We get these promotions about upgrades and stuff like that, but we haven't had a need to add more seats. Users can also use TeamViewer for home use with a non-commercial free license."
"There is no license needed to use TeamViewer."
"I used the free version of TeamViewer."
"It does what I need it to do but I think it's expensive. It wasn't easy for me to get approval from the company to get it... It's costing us about $700 a year, per license."
