Automation has streamlined client data extraction and has improved reporting for business decisions
I work as a developer, and my manager is responsible for the research and analytics for the project with the client and business users. I am satisfied with BotFarm. I would rate my experience with BotFarm an eight out of ten. I do not see any room for improvement for BotFarm. I am using AI tools such as Amazon, Microsoft Azure, and ChatGPT. I am not using AI-powered bots in BotFarm. I am a partner with Automation Anywhere.

Helps automate processes but needs to offer different licensing models to users
Right now, I am not working on process mining at the minute. Before I switched to the company, I worked extremely closely with the process mining tool from UiPath, SAP BTP, and the process mining that they had created. I am working with MuleSoft Automation and Anypoint. We are not doing any sort of process mining at the minute, but in my company, because MuleSoft is one of the only RPA tools that we are looking at, we have another application called Appian that we are trying to explore now. Appian has process mining capability, which is why we thought we would look at it along with AI capabilities.

Pros

"The solution is easy to use and easy to apply."
"The dashboards are quite good, especially on the latest versions."
"They recently released the newest version that has a good program flow, quality, and blueprints that are all good improvements to the automation, and they also have good integration with SAP."
"BotFarm is an easy solution to use and the interface is better than older versions."
"The most valuable feature is the interface, which helps to provide a good user experience."
"BotFarm has been working perfectly fine with our business model. Its scalability is the most valuable feature. We can easily scale out bots on a need basis. Portability is another valuable feature. We work with different payment systems like Visa and MasterCard and have bots for them. Because of BotFarm, we are able to reuse these bots."
"There are not many challenges when setting up this solution, and there is a good amount of documentation to go with it."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"Contextor is a good solution for a Citrix environment. It's the first with this tool. Other tools provide the same functionality, but not with the Citrix environment."
"It is remarkably easy to configure and code, and it doesn't require an extensive technical background or coding expertise."
"The most valuable feature of SAP Contextor is that everyone is in one place in the program that I need."
"The initial setup of SAP Contextor is easy."
"The standout features of SAP Intelligent RPA are its flexibility and integration capabilities."
"SAP Contextor has improved our organization by giving us better operational efficiency."
"Most of the details are already in the help portal and SAP notes are available. It is well documented as part of the product support."
"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."

Cons

"Overall the support and customer support areas need to be improved."
"The user experience could be made a little better with this solution. I find it difficult to find qualified people to be able to use the solution."
"The implementation isn't straightforward. It's a bit complex in terms of deployment as there are a lot of settings you need to handle."
"The licensing schemes could be more competitive. They need to be much more flexible in their pricing."
"The new version is not very stable. Sometimes I can't use the recording sound."
"The solution is a bit higher on the pricing side."
"The deployment could be simplified."
"I would like to see more process mining features to give us insight into them before we develop automation."
"The tool's licensing has been kind of a challenge...At the moment, the tool does not offer different licensing models to users."
"The initial setup is of medium complexity. It is neither too hard nor too simple. You need some background in SAP and an understanding of it."
"There should be more of an error, like a proper error feature, in future releases. Sometimes, we don't understand why that automation is not learning what, like, where it is stuck, or what is the reason like, or what is the criteria we are missing to add. So a proper error message would be helpful."
"SAP Contextor could improve by automating some processes."
"I would like to see a better capacity for unstructured data, for example, PDF, or text within images."
"The support is expensive."
"I found that the SAP scripting of a program is easier than SAP Contextor."
"SAP Contextor could improve by automating some processes."
