Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Automation has streamlined client data extraction and has improved reporting for business decisions
I work as a developer, and my manager is responsible for the research and analytics for the project with the client and business users. I am satisfied with BotFarm. I would rate my experience with BotFarm an eight out of ten. I do not see any room for improvement for BotFarm. I am using AI tools such as Amazon, Microsoft Azure, and ChatGPT. I am not using AI-powered bots in BotFarm. I am a partner with Automation Anywhere.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have automated over 2000 man-hours."
"The feature I appreciate the most about Automation Anywhere is the interface."
"We realized a return on investment with Automation Anywhere, especially during the COVID surge in volume within the payment process."
"I would rate this solution a ten out of ten."
"The most valuable feature of our solution is the cognitive computing because that is coming onto stream a lot faster than you would think. What used to be in the middle of, "Can this be done or not?", is becoming, "It can be done." We are getting some incredible straight through processing rates with AR around healthcare and financial services."
"Compared to other tools like NICE and Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere is the only tool that gets your work completed in half the time."
"With the cash flow generated just on the one bot we had operating, it's paid for itself in the first month."
"There are instances where use cases and opportunities have arisen as a result of having Automation Anywhere and RPA in place that have come about through very casual conversations and have actually resulted in increased revenue opportunities that we didn't realize."
"BotFarm is an easy solution to use and the interface is better than older versions."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The solution has a lot of great features inside of it that clients can take advantage of."
"Automation Anywhere provides a very flexible UI."
"Their development interface is very easy to navigate."
"Automation Anywhere provides and facilitates cloud service, which means you can access your license from anywhere, easily executing and developing your bots from anywhere in the world."
"The solution has very good processes. It's very easy to deploy and has good reviews on it. It offers good automation and the solution has very good developers working on it."
"The ability to drag and drop various components and the customizability are good features."

Cons

"It is frustrating at times to experience this instability, but we do find a solution and we are working on it to be better."
"Automation Anywhere can improve process mining."
"We experienced continuous bot disconnections in our environment."
"The availability of material in terms of more technical documentation could be improved, particularly in-depth information about how things can be done."
"There are occasional technical issues, particularly with cloud operations. Sometimes, the bot struggles to initiate on the cloud, even when everything appears in place."
"We have a challenge in our front office automation where capturing details from a table within a table does not happen in the existing AA Enterprise client version 11.3.4. The AA team tries various methods like using an Excel spreadsheet to capture the tables."
"Some things that I do not see as of today are interactive chat or video interface."
"The licensing model could be a lot less complex, mainly due to their different structures, which are not straightforward."
"The deployment could be simplified."
"The only challenge that we have faced with BotFarm is that there is no continuous deployment. The whole world is moving to the DevOps model, but BotFarm is still not on the DevOps model. It should have integration with the DevOps model. The migration of the bots or bots pipeline is currently purely manual."
"The CL command poses an issue during the process of data conversion, accuracy, data loss and the assessment of certain data as false."
"It is too expensive and not worth the price."
"The tool must execute remedial actions to resolve problems before they cause significant incidents."
"Overall the support and customer support areas need to be improved."
"The solution doesn't have support like they used to. They need support. We have personnel of our own, but sometimes we need assistance beyond our own team."
"Its UI could be made better. It should also be more flexible."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Our annual licensing costs for the entire company are $100,000."
"We were paying approximately $30,000 for a year license."
"The licensing cost could be improved. It costs a lot. At the very least, the developer licenses and the control panels should be made free to enterprises, and the production environment licensed."
"I would rate the cost of Automation Anywhere as a six out of ten, with ten being the most expensive."
"It is not cheap, but we are able to get an ROI."
"We have seen a return of investment because it takes less time to market in our current process. I would estimate a times savings between 20 to 30 percent."
"The enterprise version is expensive for small businesses and individual users."
"The pricing of AA is similar to UiPath."
"The licensing is on a monthly basis."
"I am very happy with the pricing."
"The license of this solution is on an annual basis. The price is fair. However, what we did initially was a POC, but now we are looking at moving from a POC to expanding it out further. I would appreciate some kind of discount."
"Our licensing costs are approximately $3,000 USD annually."
"The pricing is fair."
"The product is slightly expensive"
"An unattended bot license costs around $5,000, whereas an attended bot license costs roughly $1,500."
"The pricing model could be simplified."
