We performed a comparison between BotFarm and Ephesoft Transact based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable features I have found to be the screen scraping and the integration with third-party solutions."
"One of the most valuable features is the solution's simple automation regarding object cloning and strings variables."
"The solution is easy to use and easy to apply."
"The solution has very good processes. It's very easy to deploy and has good reviews on it. It offers good automation and the solution has very good developers working on it."
"BotFarm is an easy solution to use and the interface is better than older versions."
"What I like most about BotFarm is that it's one of the leading RPA products in the market. Very few products focus on robotics today, so I like that BotFarm offers a lot in terms of what general customers expect it to do."
"The solution is very stable. We don't have issues with bugs or glitches."
"The most valuable feature of BotFarm is the fact that we can use escalations when we need more computer power to fulfill all embargo that we receive in one day."
"Transact's best feature is its ease of customization."
"I like the inject feature. With desktop injects, we're doing all these things and extracting these things. Its stable, scalable, and technical support is good."
"I have found the keyword extraction to be helpful."
"The dashboard needs improvement. For Bot Farm, the visualization is not that good compared to the main Automation Anywhere dashboard."
"We have connectivity and integration with pretty much every single tech stack across the table that we have in the world, and there are a few areas that they don't do that well yet. I'd be looking for some improvement there, in terms of their integration with certain products."
"There should be more support for developing in environments such as Citrix and Linux."
"The deployment could be made a little bit easier."
"The new version is not very stable. Sometimes I can't use the recording sound."
"One aspect that can be improved is the accessibility of reusable components for developers. It relates to role-based access and accessibility."
"The image processing capabilities definitely need to be improved."
"The solution doesn't have support like they used to. They need support. We have personnel of our own, but sometimes we need assistance beyond our own team."
"Their email service and extraction could be better. We get the input via email, and these emails contain different types of documents like Excel, PDF, or they may contain different content in the email body. Due to this variation, sometimes the email service crashes, and emails aren't redirected to Ephesoft Transact. Ephesoft has provided us with new hotfixes. Whatever flaws we found in the 2019.2 version, they have already updated it in the new version, 20.1.05, and it's already released. Drawbacks like not capturing the handwritten fields are now sorted."
"It's not easy to train."
"Transact could be improved by removing Java and making its pricing more accessible for smaller customers."
