Centralized content management has unified our digital channels and delivers consistent experiences
Adobe Experience Manager offers enterprise-level digital assets management and very robust customization, brand value consistency, and omnichannel delivery. It saves development and maintenance time. The digital asset management and omnichannel delivery features have benefited my team by managing our digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, and enabling us to deliver customized content easily to our clients. Organizing and obtaining information from results is beneficial. Strengthening our online experience as a brand is valuable. Easy integration with other Adobe services improves productivity and provides a smooth experience. Adobe Experience Manager has positively impacted my organization by enabling component and page reuse, which reduces application size. It saves manual effort for maintaining all applications, improves traffic, and ensures consistency across all our applications. It provides better security, scalability, and makes our applications more robust.

The new releases incorporate significant advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and language processing capabilities
Version control interface is very good. The new releases of DocuShare incorporate significant advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and language processing capabilities. For instance, when you upload a document into DocuShare, you no longer need to set up templates to identify and extract important fields. The system automatically reads the document and identifies key information. For example, in a contract document between two entities, it can recognize the contract start date, end date, reference number, and other relevant details without manual intervention. This automated process streamlines document management. You should know your requirements and understand your environment, as well as the goals you want to achieve. Try out the demo first to see if it fits your needs and objectives before making a decision. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It helps us with analytics, application design for specific platforms, and enables us to easily create applications for iOS and Android."
"It is a first-in-class product."
"Using Adobe Experience Manager has positively impacted our organization by improving our efficiency significantly."
"Over the past two to three years, the organization has grown rapidly with Adobe Experience Manager as a best and supportive tool."
"If you're looking for a .NET based CMS, do yourself a favor and go with an open source CMS."
"AEM is a CMS and so much more, it requires more of my skills."
"A certain client has definitely seen approximately fifteen to twenty percent improvement in their web engagement and conversions on the personalized pages, especially when those experiences were connected and retargeted with other engagement campaigns in MoEngage."
"The cost can be high, but for large websites with a lot of dynamic data like e-commerce, or for clients looking for user-data based campaigning, the solution can be very efficient in the long-term."
"Most of our customers experienced a stellar improvement in productivity, as documents are now centralized and user access levels are deployed to prevent users from opening and downloading confidential information."
"For one implementation, the full-text indexing of PDF documents and associated search were the most valuable features."
"Features such as the search engine, workflows and customization are valuable to us."
"The software development kit can be customized."

Cons

"The programming model could be improved, it's a monolithic solution and that's what we don't like."
"The UI for handling complex logic, especially in forms, could be more intuitive, and debugging issues is not always straightforward and could be simplified."
"The integration of the product with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products could be improved."
"AEM, when setup using Mongo, rapidly gains size; hence it consumes a lot of storage space in a very short period of time."
"I assigned a rating of eight because there are certain limitations we must consider, and there are restrictions in Adobe Experience Manager that we cannot resolve."
"With the default template design, it is difficult to manage the different resolutions of images."
"In comparison to other CMS products, Adobe Experience Manager is missing some capabilities such as proper versioning or a better versioning system and backend connectivity. If something is deleted in AEM, the user cannot recover it. You have to call technical support, and they will need to recover the whole instance. So, it's really difficult. For example, if you delete a page, you cannot recover it. There should be an option to recover it. In AEM, you have to go to the previous state of the instance itself or the virtual machine, and you have to restore everything, which is not good."
"Tool-wise, the Adobe Experience Manager support team is not very responsive when the user face issues in AEM as a Cloud Service."
"Reports and integration with third-party applications can be improved."
"Technical Support is nonexistent if your licenses have gone beyond the one-year support program."
"The user interface could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There's a free trial for one month for Adobe Experience Manager, which you can use for learning purposes, then, after the trial period, you'll need to purchase the license. Adobe offers a few plans for Adobe Experience Manager, but I'm unaware of how much my company is paying."
"It's really costly."
"It's a costly solution. I would rate the price at two out of five on a scale from one to five, where one is the most expensive and five is the most competitive."
"Users have to pay a yearly licensing fee to use the solution, which is highly-priced."
