Ability to segregate data, well-suited for medium enterprises and installation is quick

Pros

"I like the way mobile device management works in terms of how the data is segregated, as well as the office and personal data."

Cons

"MaaS360 definitely caters to a few of the requirements, but when someone is going for a solution, all the features are not available in MaaS360."

Robust, ensures the security of our data, and provides a secure environment for our employees to work in a seamless, agile, and productive manner

Pros

"All features that we have deployed are useful. We do access office emails on our smartphones, and we have complete sync with Active Directory. Our calendar also gets synced in the MaaS360 application. We also ensure that the data from these official applications is not being misused by any of the employees. We have disabled cut, copy, paste, and all such features. It ensures that all the official data that our employees have on their smartphones is secure. Security is the paramount feature that we value in this product."

Cons

"When we have MaaS360 installed on smartphones, it consumes the battery of the device at a much faster pace. This is one of the areas of improvement that I would like to highlight. We have also observed that in the contact list, a lot of duplication is happening. A single contact is duplicated three or four times, which also consumes more memory resources. If they can work on improving it for these aspects, it will have a more positive impact not only on the way the application is being consumed by the user but also on user satisfaction. A lot of new features are being deployed or rolled out by companies that are competitors of IBM MaaS360. IBM will have to ensure that all those features are on board so that we have a complete suite of features in the platform, rather than deploying multiple diverse solutions to cater to the requirements of our customers."

A scalable and stable solution that needs to work on its area related to BYOD

Pros

"It is a stable solution that functions twenty-four hours and seven days a week."

Cons

"IBM MaaS360 needs to have stronger points when it comes to the area of BYOD."

Straightforward installation, useful encryption, but location reports delayed

Pros

"The most valuable features of IBM MaaS360 are encryption and mobile design."

Cons

"IBM MaaS360 can improve the location reporter. There is a 15-minute delay and this does not allow for any usefulness."

A MDM solution that helps to be compliant but configuring policies is difficult

Pros

"We introduced the product as part of the SOC-2 requirement. The tool's most valuable features include keeping the operating system updated, tracking software inventory, controlling computer administrators, and the ability to wipe a computer in case of a security threat. It helps us to be compliant, and it is one of the reasons we implemented it. "

Cons

"Configuring policies is difficult in IBM MaaS360. It also needs to improve usability. "

It lets you separate work and personal data on mobile phones, but the interface is outdated and clunky

Pros

"The best feature is the ability to control mobile phones, wipe and containerize the data, and keep employees' work data separate from personal data. "

Cons

"The interface is clunky and the layout is a bit outdated. Also, I don't think MaaS360 has as many features as Intune. It doesn't integrate with Office as seamlessly as Intune does, which isn't surprising, given that Intune and Office are Microsoft products."

Provides access to local resources without a VPN, scales well, and it's easy to use

Pros

"Using this solution has made things more convenient. Earlier, we had to depend a lot more on IT to find and resolve our issues."

Cons

"The user interface could definitely use some improvement."

Provides basic security with a friendly user interface; simple to implement

Pros

"The solution is easy to implement."

Cons

"Local technical support would be helpful."
