My main usage of Google Drive Enterprise is to upload all my documents, my pictures, and anything else I want to upload. I provide certain kinds of training, so I upload videos related to training sessions, which is an area where the tool is helpful. If anybody else might want something shared with them, I can just share the link, and then they can download it.
The solution's most valuable feature is that it gives 15 GB for free, which is good enough. If you want to buy more space, it is not very expensive, and it can be completely bought. The security offered by the product is also a good feature.
I would not like many changes in the tool, but I think the 15 GB space provided by Google Drive Enterprise needs to be increased to around 25 five GB, as it would be really helpful for users. These days, the resolution of pictures and everything else has been increased. If you take a picture from an iPhone, it could easily be of around seven to eight GB. Photos are memories that one would want to keep or store properly. I believe that it is not possible to save a lot of photos in Google Drive Enterprise since it only provides 15 GB to users.
The product does not offer a bit more storage space for users, which makes it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.
I have been using Google Drive Enterprise for a very long time.
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
It is an easily scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
All of the people in my house use the product, and we have it as our main storage tool. I had even purchased the extra storage space from Google Drive Enterprise for a couple of years, but I have stopped it for now. There are four family members who use the product. Even my friends and other acquaintances use Google Drive Enterprise.
I have experience with products like Dropbox. For me, the most simplest and easiest UI to use is the one offered by Google Drive Enterprise. I don't use other products.
The product's initial setup phase is straightforward. As long as you have a Gmail account, the setup phase of Google Drive Enterprise is just a click away. There are no hard and fast rules that make the tool's setup phase a difficult task.
With Google Drive Enterprise, there is nothing much in terms of deployment since it is a straightforward feature that is given to users by Google. I don't think there's anything that is required to take care of the setup phase. The main thing is to have a Gmail account.
The biggest benefit of the product stems from the fact that everything is available in one place. You need not go around multiple places to check for your stuff. You just need to create a folder in Google Drive Enterprise, and it gets stored as a document. It is basically a solution wherein you can store everything in one place, and you need not run around here and there to get whatever you want.
If you need extra storage for the product, then you need to make certain payments towards the product's licensing charges. Depending on whether you need extra storage for three months, six months, or a year, you need to make payments to Google.
I cannot speak about projects where the product can be useful but I can definitely speak about areas where it can be useful from a personal point of view. In my work environment, we don't use Google Drive Enterprise, reason being that we all have our own drive in our company, which we use. In my company, we have our own servers. In my company, we have not used Google Drive for our work environment, but it is used mostly at a personal level.
The security and management tools of the product are very good because the tool has a multifactor authentication that needs to be opened up if anything goes wrong.
The main reason for getting Google Drive Enterprise is to keep all your documents, pictures, and everything else in one place. With Google Drive Enterprise, everything is in one place, so you do not need to check for something on your phone or go to a folder to search for something. Everything is in one place, and you can easily go into your Google Drive Enterprise environment and get whatever you want.
With Google Drive Enterprise, you have everything in one place. These days, everyone has at least one Gmail ID, so there's nothing extra that you have to do to get a Google Drive Enterprise account. If you have a Gmail account, you can automatically open up Google Drive Enterprise. I would like to tell people that if you want to store audio, documents, or whatever else you have on your personal computer on Google Drive Enterprise, it is good because there can be times when your personal computer can get broken, or your mobile phone might get stolen, after which you may lose a lot of data and a lot of your personal stuff. If you have your data stored in the cloud, then nothing can happen to your data, as it is always going to be there.
I rate the tool a nine out of ten.
