Collaboration works seamlessly and automation supports efficient file sharing
I work as a software engineer in fraud prevention projects where I function primarily as a data engineer. I work with data warehouses, which are centralized storage systems where transactions through databases occur and data from various client sources is consolidated. Amazon WorkDocs can be integrated with AWS Lambda and used with step functions. If publishing with SNS, WorkDocs can subscribe to SNS as well. The integration capabilities of WorkDocs with other AWS services are strong. For access, we use Okta with our AWS account, and we can only log in through our laptops. We authenticate and access whatever services we are authorized to use from the company. Mobile access is not allowed. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Amazon WorkDocs an 8.

Have faced some confusion with the interface but have managed collaboration and document sharing efficiently
We currently use Notion for project management and CRM, which includes document capabilities and task management features. We have a self-hosted solution and utilize Google Drive Enterprise for everyday tasks. We are customers of Google and integrate Google Drive Enterprise with third-party applications. The compliance requirements are met through the platform's features. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Google Drive Enterprise an 8.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"For content sharing, it provides automation features that can be customized according to needs, which are some of the best features that I appreciate."
"This solution is great for inviting and sharing documents with other users."
"Compared to other solutions such as Microsoft, this solution offers faster synchronization."
"It's easy to access from an Android device and can access things like cyber security restrictions on USB drives, file size, and so on. Google Drive will be an option."
"Provides a secure backup to my data."
"I can store data and share it with people."
"The product helps us to collaborate with team members. You can control the share and access feature. It is also user-friendly. The solution's security features are decent and reliable. Its APIs are good."
"The most valuable feature of Google Drive Enterprise is storage and the mobile version. We can connect to Google Drive, on our Android phones and store all our documents, for later access at any time. It is a very flexible solution."
"This solution has become an enhanced product over the years. It is more stable and they keep adding features."
"Google Drive Enterprise excels in collaboration efficiency, making it easy for teams to work together."

Cons

"I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app."
"The auditing features of Amazon WorkDocs have not helped meet compliance needs."
"The tool must provide more storage capacity."
"The solution's capacity could be increased to store more documents."
"If you have different accounts, you have to log out and log in to access the accounts. This could be improved by removing this requirement. The storage limit could also be increased."
"The feature for synchronization of data from multiple systems with the same single ID is not happening in Google Drive. This feature should be added. For example, if I have only one single mail ID and I'm using it in a different location to upload different data, this is the challenge. It is happening from one system or one server. The synchronization of data from the local system to Google Drive will not happen if the IDs are the same. If I'm using it for different systems in different locations, synchronization is not happening. The system hets logged out. This feature is very important for us and they need to add it."
"Wasabi is better for scalability aspects because it is limitless."
"The solution is kind of expensive."
"The free storage amount should improve in Google Drive Enterprise. They only provide a small amount of storage."
"The product does not support certain formats."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's cheaper compared to similar products available"
"You need to pay an extra cost to use more space."
"I have evaluated Amazon AWS and IBM solutions. Amazon AWS has competitive prices for cloud storage and backups."
"There is a monthly fee that we pay for the use of this solution and the price is fair."
"Google Drive is free."
"The costs could be lower, but they are reasonable for the value they provide."
"The product is available for free, so I don't need to pay for it."
"We pay a monthly licensing fee for the solution."
"That would be ideal if it were as cheap as possible."
